    Vehicle with extra damages on quarter panel caused by gerber collision.

    They literally only get one star because I needed to put one in order to write this review. Just go to another shop. Took my car to gerber per my insurance to fix damage from a rear end collision. These people claimed the car was unsafe to repair due to a previous damage but continued to damage my passenger rear quarter panel and Removed my roof weatherstrip which I never got back because they lost it. Photos attached show the vehicle when I dropped off vs when they completed their "inspection" . When they called to tell my husband what they can and can't do, my husband requested the car be left alone and we will take to another shop. The man told him to either take the car in pieces or tow it... mind you, I did not give them the car in pieces. He stated as a "courtesy" I will try to put everything back on. When we got the car and I noticed the extra damage, I asked to speak to Juan which was the GM. He stated if I wanted anything to be done about the extra damage then I would need to call my insurance. Stated that his guy should have never touched the car if they deemed it unsafe but refused to repair the damage they caused. Took it a step farther and spoke to George the district manager and he also agreed they should have never touched the car but also refused repairs or resolution. Took my car to caliber and the car is as good as new... gerber hires people who are not qualified or knowledgeable in vehicle repair and they have no idea what they are doing. Even the receptionist with a terrible attitude needs a reality check. Needless to say TAKE IT ELSEWHERE. THIS COMPANY IS COMPLETE TRASH.

    My fixed bumper!!! It was trashed prior to these guys! I lost my photos about the "before" but these guys are legit.

    The other day an Uber driver rear-ended me, and messed up my bumper really bad. I called these guys for an appointment after my adjuster gave me the green light to move forward. I was initially upset that they couldn't receive my car until a week or so. A day prior to my appointment I get a courtesy call, confirming my intent to drop off. When I get there, I checked in with a lovely lady and she pretty much had everything taken care of for me, and called Enterprise car rental so they can pick me up. I left the office in about 16 minutes. I was really impressed with the volume of cars, customers yet their ability to handle it all smoothly. As soon as I left the office I received a "welcome" text, informing me that I would receive updates via sms about my car. At around 3pm the same day (8am drop-off) a rep called me to let me know that my car will be ready for pick up around 5pm. I was in such disbelief, but took their word for it... as the estimator forecasted a 4 day-job, and pre-approved my rental for 4 days as well. I had made plans for the rest of the day, and was not able to pick up my car that very day, but I was pleased the next morning when I did. My bumper was replaced and all the other damages were fixed seamlessly. The guy that walked me through the checkout process explained what was done to the car, and also explained the warranty and what not to do for the next days with the car, such as a commercial car wash. They mentioned that they receive a survey and all that... which I personally hate being told what to do... when I receive good service I will do that on my own to make sure the right people are recognized. These guys even though I eye-rolled at being told to do the survey that I have yet to do (not sure if I will) I think my fellow Yelpers should know about my experience; which was excellent. I will go back to these guys and recommend to others.

The technician is here right now installing my new windshield. I'm appreciate and grateful for WindshieldHUB stepping up to the plate and taking care of this issue. While it added some stress to my life, in the end WindshieldHUB took care of the issue. THANK YOU VERY MUCH WINDSHIELDHUB, I APPRECIATE THIS! I'm writing to express my frustration regarding the recent issues I've experienced with my windshield installation. The technician who re-evaluated my concerns about air coming in on the passenger side was mistaken; the noise was not caused by the windshield guard as he suggested. Instead, it was due to improper sealing, which has now resulted in a crack in my windshield, exactly where I mentioned the installation issue. I regret not seeking a second opinion at the time, as I was led to believe the initial work was done correctly. Now, there is a crack inside the glass that lacks any visible marks. You can feel the smooth surface on both sides of the windshield, but the internal crack is present due to the improper installation. I contacted Windshield Hub and sent the requested photos, asking for a free replacement under warranty since the installation was faulty. However, I have yet to receive a response despite being promised a follow-up regarding this matter. My original order number is 154806, placed in November 2024. Please let me know when you will be scheduling the replacement of the improperly installed windshield. Update: on Monday November 18, 2024, windshield hub sent out a technician to look at the issue with my windshield. The technician was very kind & understanding, after a short test drive he was able to locate the issue & fix it. It was a very simple fix. And now everything is up to par. I appreciate them taking care of this issue and I would recommend windshield hub Windshield Hub install my windshield in Altamonte Springs, Florida on November 14, 2024. Afterward, I did not move the car for 8 hours for things to "set". Upon driving my car to dinner, I realized there was air coming in on the passenger side. I called them promptly at 11 pm that night when I discovered the issue. Four phone calls later, speaking with the warranty department only once, I'm still waiting for them to send someone out to address the issue. I will be calling first thing, again, on Monday, November 18, 2024. to have them fix this. The installer was nice and appeared to do a good job, however, an issue happened somewhere during the installment of the windshield, as air is coming in on the passenger side. I'm truly hoping when I call them again tomorrow, they send someone out to resolve this issue asap and do not keep putting me off to the "next day". This issue needs to be resolved now, as I'm unable to safely drive my vehicle due to Windshield Hub putting off addressing the issue of the windshield not being properly installed.

    I called to schedule a mobile appointment to come to my home to fix my windshield, was told there…read morewere no available appointments for mobile service. I had no other options but go in person 30 mile drive each way. When I arrived at this location I saw 10 mobile service vans parked. I entered the lady at the front desk said,"we are overbooked then said we don't have enough mobile technicians", with an arrived. Please explain to me how I see safelite commercials that advertise "we come to you". This is not the first time, I have never been able to successfully schedule for mobile service without the same result. This is not how a successful business is run. My suggestion is to cut back on tge commercials and use that money to hire mobile service techs. I will also express my concerns with my car insurance company. The Crack repairs done on my windshield were very small but still noticeable. The tech told me that if the Crack got worse during the repair because pressure is put on the glass during the process, I would be responsible for any costs to replace the glass. Not sure how that works, if your process makes the Crack worse shouldn't safelite be responsible. If I take my car in for a repair and the mechanics make it worse I am not responsible for the additional repairs they are. Your policy makes no sense at all.

I was very upset and they didn't seem to care. Not sure I want to reschedule . They have a policy to charge a customer cancels . I guess it doesn't apply to them canceling. their customer service didn't seem to care or offer any compensation for the inconvenience of rescheduling..

They arrived to replace the windshield…read moreand after removing the windshield advised they brought the wrong windshield for the repair and would have a manager contact me that day to reschedule. They placed the broken windshield back onto the vehicle without resealing it on. They also advised I would have to pay an additional $150 for the repair to come back to which I had to argue with them about and contact the manager to reschedule and dispute the additional cost to come back out. That day there was heavy rain causing significant water damage. We had to call multiple times to reach a manager to advise of the situation and set up an appointment. Upon a technician arriving the following day they advised that they did not have the windshield in the truck for the repair and a manager will contact me to reschedule Upon not being contacted i had to call myself to speak with a manager for a third time to reschedule again. I was then on the phone and on hold for over an hour just to speak with the manager to try and resolve the issue. I then drove to the location while still on hold for over an hour to be advised the manager is busy at lunch. After waiting for the manager while still on hold, he arranged to have someone redirected to my residence to do the repair. Upon completion the tech advised there was no damage to the vehicles, the rugs and the seats being went and smelling due to getting wet was not damage and advised us to speak with the manager. I wish I read the countless bad reviews and one star complaints on this location prior to setting up the appointment. This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable business practices.
