giving 1 star to be able to write this review. they did a superficial good job on fixing my daughters car after she had a car accident. the guy who was doing the work called my husband and said the car needed more work for "DAMAGES that were obviously UNRELATED TO THE CAR ACCIDENT" they also told my husband that they would put it on the claim. my husband refused and told them he would pick up the car.. they then recommended him not to ride the car without them taking it to another mechanic to get the damages "UNRELATED TO THE ACCIDENT" when my husband got the car it was obvious that they had done work to get more money from our car insurance.... HORRIBLE PLACE please do not Take your care here. They will mess it up and then lie to you To get more money!!!! read more

Guided me through the process of getting my car repaired and had my rental ready to go as they work with geico. Car was repaired took care of the problem and only took two days to repair my vehicle. They literally only get one star because I needed to put one in order to write this review. Just go to another shop. Took my car to gerber per my insurance to fix damage from a rear end collision. These people claimed the car was unsafe to repair due to a previous damage but continued to damage my passenger rear quarter panel and Removed my roof weatherstrip which I never got back because they lost it. Photos attached show the vehicle when I dropped off vs when they completed their "inspection" . When they called to tell my husband what they can and can't do, my husband requested the car be left alone and we will take to another shop. The man told him to either take the car in pieces or tow it... mind you, I did not give them the car in pieces. He stated as a "courtesy" I will try to put everything back on. When we got the car and I noticed the extra damage, I asked to speak to Juan which was the GM. He stated if I wanted anything to be done about the extra damage then I would need to call my insurance. Stated that his guy should have never touched the car if they deemed it unsafe but refused to repair the damage they caused. Took it a step farther and spoke to George the district manager and he also agreed they should have never touched the car but also refused repairs or resolution. Took my car to caliber and the car is as good as new... gerber hires people who are not qualified or knowledgeable in vehicle repair and they have no idea what they are doing. The work on my car was done in a moderately appropriate amount of time but the quality is questionable and the business practices are horrendous. After receiving my jeep back from Gerber, there are still two spots that were not correctly assembled and they charged me $1009 for a part that had previously been replaced so it wasn't covered by insurance. I had to pay that fee out of pocket even though they provided no evidence the repair was needed. That's not the worst part. Mely, the customer service representative is a condescendingwhen and rude person. Threatened to send me to claims before I ever received the actual bill in paper or electronic form. Carlo was amazing to work with and their shop kept me informed by text and phone to what was happening to my vehicle during repairs. When delivered, the car looked better than it when I picked it up. They buffed out other scratches and completely detailed the inside. What started out as beyond frustrating with a woman slamming into me without insurance, ended up being super smooth. someone hit my car and geico asked me to take it to gerber on semoran. Went to pick up the car to take it to another location and my car was in worse condition than when i dropped it off. My car got hit on the passenger side door and my car was having engine problems when i got it back. The employees stole a battery charger out of my trunk. The other day an Uber driver rear-ended me, and messed up my bumper really bad. I called these guys for an appointment after my adjuster gave me the green light to move forward. I was initially upset that they couldn't receive my car until a week or so. A day prior to my appointment I get a courtesy call, confirming my intent to drop off. When I get there, I checked in with a lovely lady and she pretty much had everything taken care of for me, and called Enterprise car rental so they can pick me up. I left the office in about 16 minutes. I was really impressed with the volume of cars, customers yet their ability to handle it all smoothly. As soon as I left the office I received a "welcome" text, informing me that I would receive updates via sms about my car. At around 3pm the same day (8am drop-off) a rep called me to let me know that my car will be ready for pick up around 5pm. I was in such disbelief, but took their word for it... as the estimator forecasted a 4 day-job, and pre-approved my rental for 4 days as well. I had made plans for the rest of the day, and was not able to pick up my car that very day, but I was pleased the next morning when I did. My bumper was replaced and all the other damages were fixed seamlessly. The guy that walked me through the checkout process explained what was done to the car, and also explained the warranty and what not to do for the next days with the car, such as a commercial car wash. They mentioned that they receive a survey and all that... which I personally hate being told what to do... when I receive good service I will do that on my own to make sure the right people are recognized. These guys even though I eye-rolled at being told to do the survey that I have yet to do (not sure if I will) I think my fellow Yelpers should know about my experience; which was excellent. I want you to know my experience with this company. Went to get an estimate at the semeron blvd Gerber Collison. 1. Went in on thev28th of April they told me I had to make an appointment, so I filled out the paper work and got an appointment for May 4th. They called me a few days later and said the Adjuster would not be in that week and they needed to reschedule my appointment, so ok they scheduled me for May 18th. 2. When I got to thier office at 9:55 (appt 10:00) a woman walk in, in frt of me and checked in saying she had an appointment at 10. The receptionist said that the adjuster just went to pick up breakfast and would be back in a minute. So then I checked in and she started giving the paperwork again to fill out. I said , I've already filled this out she turned to the other adjuster and asked do you have the honda civic paperwork, she no that I needed to refill it out. I said, why did I fill it out in the first place when I made my appt? So filled it out. Then in about 3 to 4minutes the other adjuster comes with breakfast putting the green smoothie on my adjusters desk. Placing the rest on her own desk. 3.Then she the breakfast adjuster, sat down for 5 seconds, jumped up and told the lady that was waiting let's go see your car, very courteous to her. My adjuster about a minute later said let's go see your car, her voice was very in appropriate, didn't greet me introduce herself nothing. Got to my car and I was curious, and asked will they just be able to bend the tip of the bottom of the car door out and fix that way? She said very unappropriatley, no we will order a skim for the door, because we got to do it by law. Very sarcastic to me. Then she finished the pictures, and said I'll email you, your cost sometime this afternoon, and she walked away. Did not treat me like a valued customer. With that said I got thier quote of $1481.73, and my name is spelled wrong on the quote. Including the skim of $364.00, said needed. So I called Honda, because my car is a Honda civic, and they gave me where they take thier body work to. Which is Maitland Auto body, so I called and they said to bring it on over, they could give me a quote as soon as I got it there. I went there was meet by Adam, who greeted me, and looked at my car, took pictures, plus of the vin number, Went back to his office and he came back with my quote of $644.68. Mind as he took pictures I had asked him about does door need a new skim? He looked at me like what? So I explained what I had been told by Gerber Collison. He said No the only time they would need to replace the skin is if the whole had damage accross it where they would have to cut into the door to fix the damage. So they greeted me, treated me as a valued customer, Thanked me for military service and schedule my repair. I had to wait 2weeks for Gerber and with in an 1 hr I had it all done at Maitland Auto Body. Great Job Maitland Auto Body! Gerber Collision was absolutely wonderful. No one ever likes to deal with getting body work done on your car but unfortunately it was my turn. I had gotten into a fender bender and needed some work done, my insurance is partnered with Gerber and it's close to my work/home so I decided to go there. I dropped my car off and was waiting for the rental car company to pick me up when one of the Gerber employees offered to take me to the rental car place. I was on my lunch break and had already been waiting for a bit when I was contemplating taking an Uber. The employee overheard me and offered to give me a lift, she didn't have to but she did! I was very appreciative! While waiting for my car to be fixed I received text message updates and phone calls. My car was done three days earlier than they said it would be and when I when to pick up my car I was shocked. Not only had they washed my entire car, they basically detailed the interior as well! Again, they didn't have to do that but they did! I hope that I don't have to go to an auto body shop again anytime soon but I know that if I need to I will be in good hands at Gerber Collision. read more

I made an appointment online for this location on south Semoran for 9 am Monday May 2nd for an estimate. I arrived at 8:45 am to check in. The staff person advised that I wasn't in the system because their online system does not communicate with their on site system. Basically they had no appointment for me. Furthermore since I was not an insurance pay, I couldn't get an estimate until May 12. Went a mile down the street to La Chateau body shop and dropped it off for work at a fair price. This place is trash. It's a production shop with hourly employees who don't care about your time. Waited 45 min in the lobby after showing up early for my apointment. No one came out to say I will be right with you. Or anything. Asked the receptionist if maybe I should come back another day because maybe they are too busy (they were not I was being facetious...) she didn't even try to let someo know I was here. Waited another 10 min before leaving. 100 hr wait for an estimate and never even being acknowledged is trash customer service. read more

I always like this place for their excellent job done In the past, I always choose them because work is good and close to me. This is my third time there. Everything looks good, but just found out the paint is much darker than my original color, it does not match the rest of the car. I'll talk to the manager later with this issue since it's new car new color.But get color right should be the basic. Even they forgot tell me the car was done, no big deal, l can always call them to check. I got my car, the repair was done, I was putting my car seat in one side and suddenly noticed there's 3 holes on the seat cover on the other side. I clearly remember when I took everything down, there's no hole in my seat cover and I only had this cover installed from dealer only for 3 months. So I went inside and tell the lady, she told me somebody will come to check. The guy came said we did not need come inside to do anything besides cleaning. I told him there's no holes when I drop in. He said: "we are trying to help people and this is what we get!" Excuse me??!! You are trying to help? how do you feel if I said I'm trying to help you have a job and support your family?! You get money from insurance company, it's called BUSINESS! I was really not appreciate what he said.No customer should be treat like this. The manager came, He was really nice and offer to solve the problem. I will post update for this, so far they promised will taking care of all the problems. ------------- updates: The manager order new seat cover and installed it. The couldn't match my original color and end up blend the color to the whole car, my car now looks darker... well, at least they are taking responsibilities and willing to make amends. today We were more dissatisfied Thant the last time that we spoke to John trying to resolve the issue. on Thursday May 12 John had stated that technician that was working on my car saw a bunch of cigarettes butts and wraps under the back seat and to bring the car in so he can show me and to prove that I am smoker. today I went with my husband so they can open the car and show us. I have called asking if I could speak with George which is John boss they denied my Request. We got there at 2pm like we agree with John to open my car and show us the cigarettes that we had put under the back seat of my car according to Him. When finally came and meet us he said and I quote ( it is fact like the sky is that Only one person in the shop smoke and He does it behind the shop and that is fact) and told Him that logic of His words is tha we are smokers.‍‍. he keep avoiding the fact that we were there for him to open the car But he refused to up knowledge that part. My husband and left agreeing that you can argue with some one that obviously has low IQ. I will take my car to clean some where else, but it was clear to us what liars and smokers are. read more

What a horrible experience coming to this repair facility was. These people are liars, they do sub par work, and they will screw you over if it saves them time at the end of the day. Let me start out by saying that I first got my car repaired here due to a minor fender bender in which my front bumper needed to be refurbished and painted on my Mustang. I came here because I had Geico and it was a Geico repair facility. NEVER AGAIN will I be so foolish. Before I took my car home the FIRST time (about a year ago now.) They must have repainted it about 3 or 4 times because they just couldn't get it right. They didn't seem to be able to paint the bumper without getting some dirt, or drip of paint, or some sort of blemish or, "chip" they called it stuck in the paint. They even painted on plastic trim that wasn't supposed to be painted on and I had to ask them to take it off. Anyway after a lot of wasted time and gas from driving back and forth to get my car they finally got it to an acceptable appearance so I took it home because I knew it was the best that their incompetence would be able to produce. A few months later the paint on my bumper started to peel and chip away so I brought my car back here again (unfortunately) for warranty on the paint. Well a few days passed and they called me to come and pick up my car because it was, "finished." Well when I arrived, at no surprise to me at all, there was dirt in the paint once again. I must have had them repaint my bumper and additional 3 to 4 times to get it to an acceptable standard because once again they just could not paint it without producing blemishes on the bumper. By this time the Geico rep I was originally working with was relocated to another facility and I was now working with a man named Jason. Jason seemed like an Ok guy and I didn't expect him to screw me over like this. Since I had wasted so much time and gas driving out to gerber just to go back home again in the rental (which i hated.) Jason offered to buff out a scratch for me on my black plastic trunk panel (2013 Mustang). He told me that it wouldn't be a problem since I have had such bad luck with them he would do it for free to spiff up my car a little bit. I hesitantly agreed upon being reassured that the plastic panel can in fact be buffed and would not cause any additional damage. Well I got a call that my car was ready so I came to pick it up AGAIN. When I arrived at gerber Jason showed me that he was finally able to paint the bumper properly, but the plastic trim on my trunk was damaged even more. Where they had buffed the scratch it actually took off a lot of the gloss and made the scratch stand out 100x more. I asked Jason what he was going to do about this and he said he was going to have to order the replacement plastic part and get back to me. He was also going to order new bumper brackets (or clips?) also because the old ones were getting worn out from having the bumper constantly removed and the bumper isn't flush with the body of the car anymore, there is a small gap now. Jason assured me that this would be a fast process and they would be able to install the new parts while I waited in the lobby. This means the rental was no longer covered and I had to take my car home. He said he would let me know when the parts came in so I could bring back my car to finally be fixed. I never heard back from Jason or Gerber again. I would periodically call and see what was going on with my parts except, coincidentally, every time I would call, Jason would be with another customer (even at 8am.) Every time I left my number I would never get a call back. Every time Jason said he would call me, he never called me. I started to get frustrated and decided to wait on hold until Jason was done with his customers one day and I finally was able to talk to him. He told me he wasn't sure what was going on with my parts and that he had ordered them already. He told me he would call the dealership in Tampa and see whats going on. apparently this is where they get all their Ford parts from. Jason told me he would have the manager call me and let me know whats going on with my parts after he follows up with the dealership. This all happened about 1-2 months after they attempted the buff the black plastic panel causing the damage. I never got a call from the manager or Jason so I called back again, about a week after the manager was supposed to call me. Jason was with, "a customer" so I waited on hold. A few moments later the manager came on the phone and asked me what my problem was. he informed me that he had no idea about the whole situation and then he persisted to refuse to repair the damage they inflicted on my car at their repair facility. He told me that it was a complementary service and so he doesn't believe that he is responsible for fixing the part that they messed up. He also told me that the parts were actually never ordered, meaning I was being misled the entire time. STAY AWAY read more

I took a 2018 Siverado dually in that had a minor accident involving replacing the front bumper and fixing a very small dent in the front fender. The first repaint on the fender was absolutely terrible, I was told it would match after sanding and buffing, LOL. The second time it was painted it was a little better but the white paint didn't match. After contacting Corporate they repainted it for a third time which is ok, still not a perfect match. There is over spray on a small area of the new bumper, the tow hooks, a small area on my running boards and areas on 2 of my wheels. Don't, don't bring your vehicle to them, they are a joke and need new management as well as finding someone that knows how to paint. This was their Semoran location. Jeff S. read more

I have been to this location before and the service was stellar. I can't say enough about someone that cares enough about his companies customers that he is willing to fix others problems. It is very apparent that they care about customer service and satisfaction. They are going way above and beyond to help me. While I hope to not need a collision center again, if I do I will most definitely go back to Mike at the Semeron location. Kudos to Mike and his staff. read more

My car was involved in an accident and this was the Geico insurance site for repairs. I also needed a rental car. I was so please from start to finish. I arrived early to my scheduled appointment and was greeted by an Enterprise employee who was prepared with all my paperwork in hand. I had the rental car within 5 min! Awesome. Then I was greeted by the Geico adjuster who had me sign some paperwork and just like that I was on my way. The whole process took less than 10 min. Everyone involved was fast and efficient. My adjuster called me later that morning with the summary of the repairs needed for my car and by mid afternoon my car was finished! They even stayed late a few minutes because I was stuck in traffic!!! My car was waiting for me when I pulled in. The manager walked me through the repairs and handed me the keys.
