Because of that, I didn't think it was the mounts so soon. I brought it to Volvo and even they said it was the mounts. I brought it back to them (Bennetts) and they revved the engine to test the mounts and denied it BUT reluctantly agreed to replace the trans mount and the front upper mount on the passenger side and order the parts. When I brought it back to get them done, they changed their minds and only replaced the trans mount which did not help. I brought my car to a shop that they (Bennetts) recommended because of a different issue that they could not handle.....Since the new shop had to remove the mount that Bennetts DIDN"T change to get to my other issue, I told them to just replace it, (at my own cost even though the old part was still under warranty and Bennetts refused to replace it), while they were there. Which they did at no extra charge for the labor...Low and behold, the car rides perfect with no vibration what so ever!!! It WAS the mount that Bennetts decided not to warranty and change after all!.... Poor diagnosis technique to say the least and they will find a way not to honor their warranty... She said she can change the papers wording if I liked. What would that change other than a few wirds. Didn't call to say anything till she told me had to replace multiple vacuum lines. Then told me it was $329 now. What they didn't know is I sprayed all my vacuum lines with flex seal last Friday. They replaced 2 hoses that were barely 9 inches long. Here is why they are not a good business. - They were quick to take my nearly $1200 for an AC repair, but when it was finished, nothing had changed. Same exact problem. They were not excited to continue looking at my vehicle. Next is why: - They told me it could be up to two weeks before they could look at the problem, and I would need to leave the vehicle there in case something changed. I explained that this vehicle was how I made a living and could not afford to do that. - I asked, and tried to reason with them about this. Matt at the counter basically said he didn't care and everyone gets treated the same. Leave it or it won't get looked at. - I tried to work out a future date that I could schedule the work to be done to make right what they did not fix, and was promptly told again that they would NOT do that under any circumstances. Matt followed this up by saying a business next to him spends over $100k a year with them and they have to wait, why shouldn't I? - I further pushed to emphasize that I didn't have other vehicles to use like them and could we please schedule a time to fix what I paid for. Matt's response was "if you wanted to schedule when work gets done then you should have picked a large shop that does that. Here you just get in line and wait. - None of this was expressed to me initially and they had no problem taking my vehicle right away, but now that it isn't resolved, they will get to it whenever they can. - I even called ahead when I found the issue wasn't fixed and thought I set up an 'appointment' for Friday since I was told to bring it in Friday morning and leave it. The vehicle sat there all day and wasn't touched. That's when I got the 'we don't work weekends, but you'll need to leave it and maybe we look at it next week. Completely inconsiderate and disregard for their customers. So save yourself the frustration and a huge headache. Avoid these people at all costs.
