I own a commercial real estate & property mgmt co and my husband owns a construction co, we have…read moreboth used Santa's for many years, for our own house and projects elsewhere. That being said, during a heat wave this summer, my mothers HVAC system came to the end of its life. One phone call to Santa's and they came out and measured for a new system that day and had a new system installed that week. The BEST service and equipment by professionals who are savvy, informed and experienced. Big enough to serve you yet small enough to care!

My development is relatively new and used Santa's to install the A/C units. I have had really bad…read moreA/C issues for three weeks now. I initially used a bigger name service and they were responsive, but expensive, and recommended i reach out to Santa's to see about my warranty. I do have a parts warranty with them. I have reached out to their service manager REPEATEDLY, she NEVER returns my calls. I only spoke with her once, and all she said was yeah she got my message and added me to service. The guy who came was rude as hell. Very strong attitude and acted like I was inconveniencing him. Because I wasn't already "on the schedule." I tried explaining the issue and he had the audacity to say "well this isn't even that bad" (74 degrees when AC was set to 68, oh its 85 now because he failed to fix it). He couldn't give me an answer as to what was wrong. I paid nearly 300 bucks for a kid with a chip on his shoulder and a temporary fix, emphasize on temporary, that is now worse than it ever was before. The guy even was brazen enough to say he didn't have refrigerant in his truck and wasn't going to do anything. I laid on the guilt trip until I finally got him to have someone else from his company drop off more refrigerant. I think I paid for that too. And again, it was a temporary fix that lasted barely 48 hours. None of that is even the real issue: the current lack of ANY update, information, or customer service of any sort as to the next steps. My significant other and I are extremely upset, because we were told by this guy he "might" be back Friday (so, two days from now). He said I need to "confirm" that with the service manager--same woman I couldn't reach before. Three calls and a voicemail later, NO response. I have no idea if anyone's coming Friday. We are in limbo, and now I'm being forced to reach out to that bigger, more expensive company, who likely isn't covered by the parts warranty. They treat their customers like dirt and an inconvenience, and charge you $300 for the pleasure of doing so. That isn't right. They clearly don't want my business, and I've been nothing but polite (way too polite, actually, given the kid's absurd attitude and the complete lack of contact). Well, I may just be sending them the bill for the part, if the bigger company isn't covered by the parts warranty.
