Garden State Auto Repair's response was excellent! Their website had an accurate tracker that kept us informed, to the minute, of when the tow truck would arrive. I was interested in purchasing a used Jeep Wrangler from the area and I had asked Anthony if he would do a pre purchase inspection explaining I don't have history on the vehicle and it is for my daughter who will be getting her license soon. Anthony told me he was busy and that he could look at it the next day and would bill for one hour of labor but it would be a thorough inspection. I was happy I brought the vehicle to him as he gave me a list of items that were concerns and what repairs would need to be made. Anthony was nice enough to give me a lead on a Jeep that he knew would be up for sale and offered to inspect this one as well. I passed on the first Jeep on his recommendation and brought him the second Jeep which did need work but was in far better condition. I ended up purchasing the Jeep and brought it to his shop, the necessary repairs were made for a fair price. Anthony has a clean shop and employs several mechanics who work full time and support their families with their jobs. The shop is absolutely immaculate which demonstrates that they take pride in their work and work conditions. Anthony's has been in business for Approx 30 plus years. Anthony gave me confidence to know that the Vehicle I bought for my daughter was now safe and roadworthy for her. It has been a few weeks and I am happy to report the Jeep runs great. If you are in need of an honest quality mechanic I would not hesitate to recommend Anthony's repair shop.

do not use this place, they are not good people. charged me for engine mounts after an oil change…read more 6 months later i drop off for an oil change, i leave and all my headlights and blinkers dont work. they refused any blame and didnt take any accountability. on top of that they tried to sell me engine mounts again for another 2300 dollars. i told him you already charged me for that last time, he says they are shot and i dont see it in the system??? what? 2 oil changes, 1st one cost 2300 for work that either wasnt done or was done terribly. 2nd oil change(200 dollars mind you) destroyed my whole electrical system and than played dumb. i also asked what happened to his prior workers who sold me the engine mount. he said they got fired for stealing 12 grand from him. seems like a theme at this place, just screwing people over left and right and not doing the right thing ever. take your car anywhere else. their prices are outrageous, their work is horrific and they lie/have 0 accountability. UPDATE: to respond to the comment below. I would never let this place touch my car ever again. the engine mounts they put in the car 6 months ago are dead already, how is that possible? he refuses to refund after trying to resell me new mounts again. much better places locally.

Not only do they have a legitimate aftermarket stock auto parts, of all types & for all major makes…read moreand models of vehicles but you will spend close to HALF the price if you were to go to a dealership or any other mechanic in the local area (that I have looked into myself, personally, anyway). My favorite aspect of this shop, in particular, happens to be that they guarantee all of their work so if something goes wrong with the replaced or fixed part, whatever time limit they have agreed-upon; depending on the price points and work you got done, you get it repaired, again, completely for free (just in case you didn't know/fully understand what "our work is fully guaranteed" means). Not to mention take a look at the picture, which is also incentive as to why I made this post in the first place (: Trust me, you want to come here!

We've had a bunch of work done here and every time they are quick and efficient while also providing excellent work. Pete and all the other guys are super friendly and will answer any and all your questions. They've kept my older 2008 car running smooth, I honestly won't go to anyone else. They do get backed up because they are so busy, so keep that in mind.
