I took my two toddlers here for a rainy day open swim. I thought it'd be packed but there was a handful of other families there. We had a blast. The splash pad was a huge hit with my boys. They have multiple slides, more than I even expected. However there is only 1 that is really an option for the younger kids that can't yet swim. It was nice to see there were life jackets available but we did use our own. The facilities was clean and the lifeguards were all very friendly.

Pretty expensive for non-Germantown residents ($30 in total for both me and my 2-year old), which is why I took away 1 star. Other than that, it was great!! It was my baby's first time at a pool and he had an amazing time. The water was so comfortable and warm! There were also toddler life vests available that I used as well.

I started swimming here after my outdoor pool closed at the end of the summer. The staff is doing a great job of keeping everyone safe during Covid, and reservations are required for a lap swim, which provides you with a dedicated lane. There are two pools available and the shallow (5ft-3ft) one suits my needs. In addition to the friendly staff, the other patrons are super nice and I've made a few friends as the late evening time seems to draw a regular following. I have only been on weeknights so I can't speak to the daytime or weekend situation. The KSC facility is closer to me but is too difficult to reserve. I now enjoy the Germantown facility and it's people, and find it worth the longer drive.

This place rocks..! The children really enjoyed the variety of waterfalls, waterslides, including an incredible long slide tube and several pools. The price is extremely reasonable. I can't even begin to describe this fantastic place. Also next-door to it is a splash pool park with mini golf. We will be back..!

Diving pool I believe it's 15-18 ft deep

I suggest don't come to afternoon open swim if you want a bit more space during these times.

The Kentlands pool reminds me of my summers as a kid. All the kids in the neighborhood have a blast just like me in my old pool. The staff at the pool are great, they're always on top of everything and focused on making sure all patrons have a great time. My niece needed to complete a swim test and the manager was on it, the whole process was easy and stress free. Last week I fell asleep working on my tan and a young handsome lifeguard politely woke me up when the pool was closing. He was truly a professional. Overall, you can take my word that the Kentlands pool is the best pool I've ever been to.

It's just average, the pool is clean enough, the chairs are ok, and the life guards are fine. But the special something is just missing! When I look around the pool it's strangely quiet and their isn't that summer spark I expect. In my experience at the Kentlands Pool I also found one major flaw. The ping pong table and balls were a disgrace! I was shocked at the poor quality and it made playing ping pong with my son unbearable. Overall, the Kentlands Pool lacks that special something but is a passable pool if you need to take a quick dip.

The pool is murky and questionable, the bathrooms are dirty, and overall cleanliness has clearly declined- a serious concern for a facility working with children. Management is nearly impossible to reach by phone, and communication is handled almost entirely by text. Jessica, in particular, has been rude and dismissive, providing misleading information instead of real solutions. Long-term staff are leaving at an alarming rate, which raises serious concerns about the new management. The staff is now mostly new and inexperienced. My children went from structured, effective lessons to watching instructors who don't seem to know what they're doing. At this point, I could teach the lesson myself just from observing. After over a year here, it's sad and concerning to see what was once a trusted, high-quality program turn into a poorly managed operation. Parents should be aware before enrolling.

The staff used micro aggression to consistently push my child out of the kids center. Several incidents happened during my visits over a few months. I started to notice the staff who was all Latina women singled my African American son out and they would restrict him from Bringing comfort toys, such as hot wheel cars. He is 4 yrs old and does not like to share. They said he can't bring his cats bc he does not want to share with other kids. However I saw that they would allow all the other kids who were Hispanic to bring whatever they liked including cars . I brought this to there attention several times and observed how they treated him and one day I had enough. A child who was older and bigger pushed my son while I was in the kids center picking up my son to leave . 4 Latina women staff were working and saw the kid push my son and said nothing . So I stuck up for my son since these 4 women did nothing and I told the older kid to keep his hands to himself, my son did nothing to him and he had no reason to push my son. When I redirected and corrected the Chikd. The staff told me I needed to leave. Then this same 6 year old who pushed my son called me out of my name and said I was a "bitch". The staff said nothing to him at all. They grabbed him Because he was running up to me aggressively. I lost it at that point and demanded to speak with the manager who the staff claimed was off. This was on a Friday and the staff told me the manager would not be back until Monday well I came back everyday until Monday and requested to speak with anyone in charge. The manager just keep avoiding me. The manager saw me on that Monday I spoke to her saying hello then she totally disappeared I never saw her again while I was at the gym and when I asked where the manager was the front staff told me she left to go on a break but she had just arrived to work 10 minutes before I saw her. After she ducted out on me I wrote to corporate. Once corporate and the CE0 got word. The area manager called me and basically told me my kid who got bullied probably needed to take a break from the kids center and told me to never speak directed to the kids if my son was ever hit, or abused by another kid to tell the same staff who watched him get pushed. After that I never took my son there again and I never visited that gym again. The staff sat back and watched these 5 kids bully my son and did nothing bc they were all Latino and they look out for their own. I highly recommend to not use this la fitness. They allow bigger kids to bully younger kids and they are not truly watching what's going on. The kids in there just run wild and are allowed to do whatever if they are Latino.

My trainer was personable and I would use her again, I'm sure. Things I wish were different: the carpet and equipment are very old. The mats so worn around the equipment that you can see foot prints. The weight machines labels for the weights are all but coming off. The decore - as with my other LAF location on the West Coast - very, very dated (2000's). The cleaning staff seem to be present and doing their jobs but it's impossible to clean used/aged equipment. They do have a machine repair guy in regularly and that's promising (but again, the equipment is simply old and very worn). I wish there were more clocks located around the facility, especially the weight area. I guess I'm just hoping they start a renovation/remodel soon (without having to shut everything down). I promise to keep you posted as things improve (or not).

I was looking forward to relaxing my muscles and taking advantage of this amenity. Before I joined, Diana gave me a tour of all three floors and explained that there are four recovery rooms. She told me that if I wanted to use one of the recovery chairs, I could simply wait outside the room for the next available chair, and that each session is limited to 15 minutes per person. The Recovery Room was one of the features that most interested me when deciding to become a member. Unfortunately, my experience today was very disappointing. There were no clear instructions regarding how the waiting process works, and no staff member was present at the Recovery Room front desk to assist members. As a result, people were able to cut in line easily, making the process feel unfair. When I needed assistance, I was told to go all the way to the main front desk on the first floor, which was inconvenient and frustrating. In the end, I was unable to use a recovery chair despite waiting, and the overall experience left me very disappointed. I would appreciate it if Life Time could review and improve the management of this area by providing clear instructions, a fair queuing system, and better staff oversight. These improvements would help ensure that all members can enjoy the facilities fairly and have a positive experience.
