A forgettable Y, old and run down and needs a major facelift. Definitely one of the less enjoyable YMCAs I've used and despite how old and run-down it is, it's also busy so you will have to wait for certain things on certain days at certain times more than you would in the average YMCA location. And some of the other members are not so friendly. A good parking lot though, and nobody bothers you in it if you're hanging out in it for awhile.

The staff was very nice and there were plenty of lifeguards keeping close watch. The outdoor pool area consisted of - Large pool section that went from 3+ feet to 5 feet - 13 foot area with a diving board - Lazy river - 2 water slides About 40% of the area where you can sit is shaded (either trees or a canopy). I can tell that people came early to snag those spots. It's a very nice and well maintained facility. One thing to be aware of is that there is no re-entry. So make sure you bring everything from the car you need the first time. There is plenty of parking. Overall we had a great time and next time we will go closer to the time they open to get a shady spot.

Wednesday night they had a swim meet. It was loud and exciting but the pool was still open for swimming. This was great! It had been a very hot day! I could not swim any laps but I did my best going wall to wall in the main pool. They are also shooting 2 spouts of water out across the pool now. The kid's love it. The pool area is pretty big, so you can have space to yourself even with classes and trainings going on. But, they have a complete fitness gym, pilates and yoga studios, aerobics classes, spin classes, aquatic classes, personal trainers, and more. Our yoga community is very supportive, so I am always encouraged to go to class even when it's cold out or raining, etc. I am a "senior" & so there is something there for people of all ages. We have a 85-year old who regularly comes to yoga with the rest of us. But, the kids can play basketball or tennis, work-out in the gym, or swim in the pool.

The Black Card area and front desk are on the first floor, and you have to walk down a full flight of steps to get to the locker room and gym. There was a QR code for Wi‑Fi, but I didn't scan it and ended up with terrible, spotty reception in the basement gym. The locker room was clean and smelled amazing. The gym itself had everything I needed and all the usual PF equipment. I really appreciated how much open floor space there was for stretching and floor work. Overall, a compact location that still delivers what you need for a solid workout.
