But I never appreciated him more than when I recently underwent an emergency root canal procedure with him.. It seems Dr. Alex has a whole separate gear to handle these situations. It began with a slight nagging toothache, very minor, but concerning because I am fortunate enough to never get toothaches. On a whim, I called the office (closed-it was 6 p.m. on a Sunday), debated, then chose the option for the emergency line and left a message. Within 10 minutes, I received a call back from Dr. Alex, who was on vacation at the time. As always, he showed deep concern, and asked questions to which I replied that I felt I was not in crisis. (I am prone to self-diagnosis which, honestly, rarely works out). "Just too much aggressive flossing". He offered to send an RX for antibiotics and pain killers just as a precautionary measure. I declined-so very sure I would not need them. Ha! He suggested alternating OC Anti-inflammatory and painkillers to help with the pain. Monday being a holiday, he told me to come into the office on Tuesday AM at opening and he would take me right away. Fast forward to 1 a.m. on Tuesday and awakening with a throbbing, excruciating pain the likes of which I have never experienced before. Yes, an abscess on my gum the size of Texas and, as we discovered later, an infected tooth. Dr Alex was in the office waiting for me and saw the problem immediately. He and his staff sprung into action and in the next hour and a half, performed the first of two non-invasive stages of a root canal procedure in a completely painless manner. And with the aid of state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment with amazing precision. But most of all, with caring and respect. Pain gone. Two weeks later, I returned for the final phase and am now in recovery. Still no pain! How do you thank someone enough for setting the gold standard for patient care? Try and tell the world.

I decided to give them a call and make an appointment. The lady on the phone was very kind and friendly. On the day of my appointment, I was blown away with how swanky this dental office is. The decor is beautiful, clean and the complimentary water, tea, fancy coffee they offer is thoughtful. Gina, was my hygienist and I had the pleasure of meeting Doctor Mcgonigle. Gina is warm, funny and is very personable! She made my visit a delight Doctor Mcgongile is so cool and his bedside manners is excellent. Once my cleaning was finished, I was greeted by Lisa E who assisted the doctor (I think her name is ashley) with my fillings. Lisa is super sweet, warm and has a good sense of humor. I don't like needles and she helped eased my anxiousness by assuring me everything will be fine and if I needed to take a break then, let her know. She let me pick out a movie to watch while I had my fillings replaced. I chose father of the bride (love that movie) my dentist, Ashley is kind, personable and down to earth. I have two flexible spending cards, and I needed to split the payment on 2 cards for today's visit. Front desk personnel, Alyssa, was able to put the invoices on the receipt so that I can properly submit the invoice to my FSA providers. She too, was very helpful and friendly! The office staff seems to handle things well and no one seems busy in the least. However, I have spent months calling and emailing trying to get the next stages of care for my kids set up without any reply. Finally I got a randomly sent (not in response to my emails) reply about setting up care, and was able to connect with someone. Set up the appointment needed for my youngest. They knew what type of appointment it was because they quoted me the price for it, and it was not a cleaning. Forty minutes before the appointment, when I have spent days prepping my autistic kid for the break in routine, I get a call asking why I'm coming in and saying the treatment is no longer needed. It was implied that I had made a regular cleaning appointment, which I 1) did not do, and 2) those are covered by our insurance and would not have cost anything. I was frustrated that my child missed out on this treatment due to the office's lack of communication with me, and I shared as much. Not a single apology. I was told they could see that they had returned "a call" and had not been able to leave me a voicemail. I called multiple times, have never had problems with voicemail not working, and had also emailed asking to set up services, which were not replied to. I cannot recommend this office for dental care. I feel awful that I let it go this long; I should have moved on after a few weeks of nonresponse instead of waiting a few months. I just thought we could get back on track with them. I don't believe they want our business and we will move on.

The staff are very friendly. As an incoming patient I was able to take a conducted tour. This is a very impressive and logical office set up in an easy to find location with ample parking and comprehensive services and state of the art equipment. I was made aware of The Dental Assistance Savings Plan via Kleer.com at the outset, and am considering it as I retired from work with COBRA coverage from an insurance which is out of network for The Center. I read the Savings Plan form carefully and believe that I understand it. A decision should be made shortly. There seems to be confusion concerning billing practices at the Center. As I see it it is up to the patient to ask questions, take notes if needed and to make sure that they fully understand The Center's billing and receivables requirements. The person that I talked to is Shari, whom I talked to at The Center after wrapping up my last appointment. She is a very good billing manager and was very helpful. Thank you.

They don't take my sons' dental insurance but they do accept Care Credit and they are responsibly priced compared to other dentists in the area. Both of my sons said the Dr was friendly and they didn't experience any issues or discomfort during or after their appointments.
