Our prior experience with local caterers, or staff hired through Thumbtack, was mediocre at best. Often, the staff we have hired was more interested in talking to each other in the kitchen versus making sure our guests were attended to, or were not deferential or service oriented in their interactions with our guests. The staff from Party Staffing arrived on time, dressed in all black, and went straight to work. They were well-spoken, very presentable, and hustled before, during and after the event to make sure everything was just right and that our guests were attended to. They greeted guests in the foyer with hands clasped behind their backs, hanging coats, then shuttled drinks to people's waiting hands without anyone being left without service. They knew when to stand back, but also checked around regularly, moving in the background to observe, clean up, and make sure anyone who looked like they could possibly need something was asked what they might like. They were the perfect unobtrusive servers we were looking for. I work professionally in a world full of high-end Manhattan events, and found my first experience with Party Staffing to meet my rather high expectations for staffing in the suburbs. It is tough to find presentable, well-trained staff in Westchester. However, I was so pleased with Party Staffing that I am already booking them for another upcoming event. My husband has then suggested using Total DJ Entertainment since they had done his sister's wedding about eight years ago and he wanted to use them since they had entertained their family before and kept them happy with music selection. We initially met with Michael at their home office upstate. He was very genuine and professional. He wanted to make sure that our wedding ended up perfect. He walked us through all the different packages they offered and we decided to opt for the platinum package. The platinum package included the nice name monogram and light up Dj booth a four television set up, so our guests would be able to see the photo montage. They also had played cocktail hour music to keep our guests entertained before the reception. Michael was very organized by giving us a worksheet to list the introductions, songs and what to play and not play in the night to fill out, so he knew how to make our reception perfect. Michael was our master of ceremony (MC) for the night along with the DJ and one other assistant for the photo montage. Michael did a fantastic job with helping host the reception as the MC. Him and his crew helped keep our family and friends entertained. Our friends and family had nothing but good things to say about how Total DJ Entertainment was able to keep the night going on without a dull moment. They also did a great job of the photo montage mixing Micheal Buble's "I Believe In You" with the photos we provided. We loved how everything turned out and would recommend them to anyone.

A Touch of Class is a preferred vendor with various Long Island venues. I recommend Sherry for her pleasant demeanor, calm under pressure, and experience overall. I have known her since 1992 when we worked in the same building in Woodbury where their first store was, they are now in Syosset since 2000. Their online planning portal was also so incredibly helpful for figuring out exactly what we wanted for music and how the flow of the day would go! And when we finally got to the day, DJ Mario was amazing! He did a perfect job of blending me and my husband's music tastes and playing crowd pleasers that got everyone hyped and on the dance floor. A Perfect Blend Entertainment handled the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, as…read morewell as our DJ booth for our June 24, 2023 wedding.  Mario was our head DJ and he was INCREDIBLE.  We met about 8-10 months out from the wedding to discuss our general vision, at which point we secured his services and gained access to our web portal where we were able to start loading content (song choices for each segment of our event, must pays, do not plays, etc) and get started on the general vibe of the party.  Then as we approached the wedding, we had more contact to select our custom photo booth strips (they make you a scrapbook with everyone's photo strips!! how cute!!) and to solidify choices, get the mixes right, and make sure everything is cohesive.   A Perfect Blend is VERY familiar with our venue (FEAST at Round Hill) so they also provided uplighting and were able to mount speakers in the entire venue, making it a fully rounded experience. I'd fully recommend this service if you're looking for a wedding or event DJ - they asked questions we wouldn't have thought of (age group of our guests - suggested where to do the cake cutting to make sure the dance floor didn't empty out, etc), which made our lives easier during this hectic time. 10/10 for sure!!!
