Had pizza here yesterday and it was really delicious. Had the eggplant rollatini pizza. The eggplant was perfectly thin and crispy and the pizza was cooked to perfection. Not doughy! The bottom was crispy. They should sell the crispy breaded eggplant as a side it was delish!!! read more

I ordered a gluten free pizza. Now these pizzas comes with with the gluten free pie crust pre made. Just need to add sauce, cheese and topping and put in oven. I ordered cheese gluten free pie. It was takeout. Picked it up and brought it home. When I opened the box and started to eat it realized it was not fully cooked- crust was a bit chewy and cheese not 100% melted. Well I was not happy but I made due and ate the pie over 2 days. My point here is that food should be properly cooked. This was not a terrible order but the expectation is that it will be prepared properly. Plus any gluten free pizza or item is more expensive than its regular counterpart. Not sure if I'll order another gluten free pizza here again. read more

Not sure what happened here, but this USED TO be an amazing pizza joint. The guys there knew my favorites, brought me garlic knots while I waited and were personable and friendly. They made you feel like family and I really enjoyed going there. The place must have changed hands. Patsy and Sal are missing and the new crew is just sarcastic and rude. No employee wears their mask correctly. When instructed to wear the mask, employees had no issue cursing with eachother or with me and my family. Horrible service. Now for the food.. We all ordered regular slices of white pizza and got sick the next day. I don't know what it was. The pizza is a soupy mess and the meatball parm legitimately tastes like my 7-year-old's chef boyardee. No idea what happened to this place - it used to be awesome in the 90s. Must be new ownership. I sometimes have to take a step back with placed like this so my rating is fair. it's simplicity is what makes it so great. Run of the mill pizza place, garlic knots, sausage rolls blah blah blah you have seen them all. Their slice is so consistently good its the primary reason im giving is 4/5. I get pizza from here at lease 2x a month and its always just as good as the last time When i think of "pizza" this is what i think of. Go for the regular slice, sausage/meatball or get a sausage roll with extra sauce on the side. you wont be disappointed. read more

This place is underrated. I'm writing this review because I feel people aren't given them the attention they deserve. Many reviewers and friends I talk to claim to no longer like Cacciatori's after the new owners bought it. However, they are far better now than they ever were. The grandma and grandpa slices are the best around. When you bite into the grandma slice, there is an explosion of tomato flavor with garlic and olive oil smoothed over the crispy crust hitting the back of your palette. Following this intensity, your tongue is caressed by the flavor of the mozzarella cheese easing anxiety, whispering "It's okay, I'm here". I'm drooling simply thinking about their grandma pizza. read more

I don't understand the negative reviews. Although I guess it is possible that the ownership is responding properly to the criticism and making corrections, and I have reaped the benefit. The regular slices are very large, The Sicilian slices are second only to Da Vincis in Bensonhurst. The soups are terrific. The entrees are excellent. This place is terrific! Especially for busy families who need healthy but great tasting food! They deliver quickly (NEVER LATE!!!) Everything is delicious - the pizza crusts are crispy; the chicken fingers and fries satisfy even my most picky eaters; and the pastas are delectable! The chicken sorrentino is almost as good as mine!!! The sandwiches are truly awesome - I even brought some to work the next day and they were great reheated! (The meatball was the best!). The pizza is pretty good. The slices are a decent size and could use a bit more sauce since it is a little dry. The crust is crispy. This place has gone through many changes over the years. It was awesome 15 years ago. I am assuming there are newer owners. The food is relatively average. The soup is a bit salty and tastes like the broth is commercially made. Amazing staff, they have recently gone under new managment (6 months ago) pizza is great. My favorite is Grandmas pizza. Everytime my family eats here the staff always so friendly. We order from here at least once a week and never have had a bad experience. I love the shrimp salad. They give you 6 grilled jumbo shrimp on top of a generous salad with their house dressing. There are times when I order to go and my kids fall asleep in the car and they will come out to the car and bring me the food. Such a great gem to have in town. read more
