I traveled from Sturbridge Ma to Lowell to look at a 19 Continental. I was allowed to browse the lot without any pressure. After a while, I was met by salesman Brendan. He was very professional, accommodating, and eager to answer any questions I had. After the test drive, I came up with a punch list of issues from scraped rims (all 4), couple dents, complete cleaning in and out, etc. All was agreed and handled without hesitation. When I came to pick up the car, it looked brand new. I went straight to the inspection station in Sturbridge, and that's when we discovered a left tie rod end was bad, so failed the inspection. I communicated this back to Brendan, who hesitated at first, almost denying it do Lincolns rigorous 192 point inspection. After I sent him pictures and the failed paperwork, he finally said to bring it back and they will repair. Also, while I drive it, I heard a grinding sound coming from the car, I mentioned this to Brendan as well. Once dropped, all issues were repaired without question, I was provided a 2025 Lincoln Nautilus to borrow for the next 5 weeks while waiting for parts, etc. They repaired everything including the rear grinding noice, which turned out to be the rear axle. Although a few hiccups with the mechanical issues, all an all, the experience was fantastic. I would not hesitate to do business again with Gervais Lincoln and Brendan due to their customer service and wanting to make it right for the customer. read more

I have a 2025 Lincoln navigator, the 2nd one I have purchased from this dealership, my vehicle is less than a year old with 12,000 miles on it. The molding on the passenger side door cracked and broke off, I called to schedule the repair a month ago describing exactly what the issue is, my vehicle went in today only to find out they will not cover the 1500 price tag to replace a small section of moulding and their is nothing they could do. There was no accident or damage, tis is clearly a defective part. The service manager Ryan was rude and extremely unhelpful. I guess this location only want to sell luxury cars but does not want to warranty issues outside of the customers liability. This dealership gave me good service for a period of time after 2019 but slowly deteriorated since then. Some of their garage help no longer works there. My car had a defective slip plate that Ford knew of and was willing to provide a repair at a reduced price. That was fine with me. I went in the week before Christmas (2023) and was told that it would be a three-week wait to get the car in for service. Great....nice way to spend Christmas, in a car that made a racket and sounded like it was about to explode. I went to another Ford dealer and they got my car in the garage in two days, gave me a free loaner, and repaired the car perfectly in two more days. Thanks to them my holiday season was not spoiled waiting. The help at Gervais is usually pretty good, except that Nicholas needs to improve his people skills....greatly. I am generally quite happy with my experience at Gervais Lincoln. They have friendly and helpful staff and having successfully serviced my vehicle several times. I am not happy that the Lincoln MKC has required serious servicing five times in less than five years (stranding me twice) and costing me nearly $1,000 (not including routine maintenance). This contrasts with a Tesla I owned for roughly the same period, which has required service only once (after self diagnosing itself and sending information to Tesla to schedule service), never stranded me and cost me less than half in service costs with no routine maintenance required and of course much lower fuel (electricity) costs. read more

I dropped my car off at 8:30 AM for my appointment. All I needed done on my MKZ was A recall, and a trim piece installed. I called at 1 to ask if it was done. I was told it was coming out of wash and it's almost done. By 2:30 I didn't hear anything so I figured it had to be almost done. I got there at 3 and saw my car had just started to be worked on. I waited there till 5 to get my car back. They did a terrible job installing the trim piece. The piece is sticking out and I can press down on it and it makes a sound, It is not properly installed. The weather stripping also looks like it wasn't sealed right around the new trim piece. The other side of my car is completely flush. There are also scratches on the trim next to where they installed it and there is a bad scratch on the wood trim in my car that wasn't there before I dropped it off. The wood trim piece is in the same spot they worked on. I am extremely disappointed. They charged me $180 to scratch up my car and not install it properly. This is the second bad experience I've had at Gervais Lincoln and I will never go back or tell anyone to go there. At this point, I don't even trust them to make it right to me because it's been my second bad experience. They are 100% a sketchy dealership. I am planning on reaching out to corporate to tell them my experience. I hope this helps the next person so they don't have the same experience as me. read more

I've been going to this dealer for service on my Lincoln for a few years and the only good thing I can say about my experiences is that Kelly in the service department is really great to deal with. Besides her, this dealership, especially the service department, is awful. i had my car inspected at gervais, authorized replaicement of two directional bulbs to pass inspection. one hour and fifty minutes later i received a bill $320.57. i called the service manager and he faulsely said he had informed me that the middle rear seatbelt was tangled. i have witnesses who will verify that i only was told of the two bulbs. i'm 80yrs old and a veterain and i don't appreciate being ripped off. if in doubt i'll send you a copy of the bill. p b leblanc -- cappebbles@aol.com i have as yet to receive a reasonable explaination of why they would do that to me after i had purchased two cars from them!!! my bill total was $320.54 labor cost breaks down to $2.65 a minute the charged me for the 90 minutes i was there for a total of $289.40 + sticker $35 = $324.40 i only authorized replacing 2 bulbs plus tax = $11.55 it should of taken 30 minutes at $2.65 = $79.50 plus $35 sticker for a total of $126.05 this i authorized yet was billed $320.54. i asked the sales manager why the difference of $194 he claimed he would speak to mr. gervais and he would get in touch with me as to how my complaint, perhaps a credit. i paid cash and would like cash back. as of yet 2/23/2024 mr. gervais has not contacted me.... i'm not sure he even reads the reviews on complaints of his lincoln dealership in lowell. read more

Good place to buy a car, bad place to bring it for service. I have purchased two cars through this dealership. First was a 3 year old Ford Taurus with 28,000 miles; the second a 3 year old Lincoln MKZ with 40,000 miles. The Taurus had no issues whatsoever, and was the best car I have ever had. The Lincoln had one transmission issue. This dealership has recently expended and now sells Kia's and Suzukis and has two locations, both are right across the roundabout from one another. The sales experience both times was uneventful was walked away satisfied with the results. The service department is another story. I cannot fairly review the service because I have never used it, but they require an appointment, something which I do not like. Having come from a Ford family, Drum Hill Ford doesn't require any appointment and makes it so much more convenient. I like to do service when it is convenient to me and spur of the moment, so this dealership doesn't cut it for me. Overall, I would consider them when buying another car in the future, but probably wouldn't have it serviced here. read more

This is a review for the service department for Lincoln. Have no experience with their sales. Son took car in for service. Service manager indicated that one fuel injector was bad, and would need to be replaced. Quote for service (parts and labor) was $790. This seemed high. So we want to two other mechanics, and asked for estimates using factory parts. Both estimates were for approx. $400. We communicated this to the service manager at Gervais, and he indicated that to replace fuel injector #4 it was harder, and that was why it would cost more. We asked one of the other mechanics (could not get answer from second that gave estimate) and he indicated that there was no difference in cost to replace the #4 fuel injector. The mechanic indicated that they use software that gives the cost of parts and labor for all standard service tasks. He indicated that most service departments use similar software and the standard services (like a fuel injector) would not have nearly twice the cost for a standard service. Our opinion, service manager at Gervais saw young african american youth, and decided to give unreasonable estimate for a standard part replacement. We are very dissatisfied with this merchant. Post service comment: We had the injector replaced at another service department. I intentionally did not mention anything about which fuel injector was bad. The total cost, parts and labor with factory parts, was $450. I did not mention above that Gervais charged $110 dollars just to evaluate the vehicle. So total cost of repair (including this fee we had to pay to Gervais) has been $560. Still considerably less than Gervais estimate. Again: Very dissatisfied with Gervais Service for Lincoln. read more

My Terrible experience at Lincoln Gervais continues. After purchasing a new Lincoln aviator, My car continues to malfunction and the problems continue to arise. I have 4,000 miles on my car and have had 5 service repairs totaling over 30 days of lost use and expenses for a car that I feel is unsafe to use. The car malfunctions electronically, shuts off while driving, leaks from the sunroof, and the car does not open from the inside, you are literally trapped in the car. Someone must open the door from the exterior to let you out! Gervais Lincoln repeatedly treated me rudely, failed to act on my behalf with the manufacturer and refuses to service my vehicle. The sales manager has the worst disposition and will blatantly lie to you. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM LINCOLN GERVAIS. The only resolution left is the Attorney general and filing a lawsuit to recoup my damages. read more

AWESOME! Best car buying experience of my life! I was in an car accident and confined to bed. I found a CPO Lincoln MKC online. Gervais drove it to my house for a test drive and my inspection. It was a great deal - just like new without that sky high sticker price. Key, my sales associate was phenomenal. These folks are Top Notch! I bought a used Mazda CX5 from them recently. They had put on new tires and battery, and changed the oil and air filters. On the drive home after purchase I noticed a mirror vibration. I did a Google search and found out there was a Service Bulletin that apparently the previous owners had never gotten done. The selection is good, between kia, lincoln, and used cars. The customer service was very helpful, managment has been there a long time, family owned buisness. I got a fair price on my trade in 2500 for an estimated selling value of 4100. I would have wanted a little more, but didnt feel like going through the hastle of walking off the lot multiple times. There was a scratch on the bumper, they buffed it out as part of the deal, they gave a crappy car with the sticker on it for about 3 days, which wasn't good. Cannot compare to a Lexus dealership Brought in my MKZ to replace a defective part. Asked if I could have a loaner car for the day and was told I could. Brought the car in at 8:30 expecting to drive a newer MKZ to work. Instead, I was told they do not have in house loaners and I must go to Enterprise car and get one, and also to return it there. They would drive me there and pick me up. This is probably more Lincoln's fault for not providing loaner cars, but they should of at least had the car on site for me ready to go. As far as the service, They appeared to have done a great job. They vacuumed and hand washed my car as well, although they missed many sections on the lower body. Fortunately, I am not one to expect to be pampered, BUT if Lincoln wants to be like Lexus, they need to up their bar on customer service. Update: 3/16: I have since brought my car here several times for service. They have always done a great job. Service manager is awesome to deal with. They are not financially on par with a Lexus dealership but they are making the best of it as a stand alone Lincoln dealer. read more

I bought a 2017 Lincoln MKZ from Gervais Lincoln and I have got to say it has been one of the most positive experience I have ever had with a dealership ( I have bought many new vehicles). They treat their customers like gold before and after the sale. They are friendly, always have a loaner when you require service and always complete the job right. When I went to test drive the vehicle I was able to drive it as long as required to make sure I was completely satisfied. There was absolutely no pressure applied and I was able to try a few different vehicles. They were very helpful in choosing the option packages and even saved me money on a hidden kickback for a moon roof that no other dealer volunteered. I am absolutely sold on this dealership. Not only did Gervais do a wonderful job on my regular mantience they washed and detailed the car but more importantly they fixed my door panel that Sentry Ford Lincoln mangled and they also did a master reset of my sync system because my blue tooth was not pairing with my IPhone properly. They sold me a lemon. They made a bunch of promises to repair the vehicle yet they wouldn't. The Office of Consumer Affairs of Massachusetts has determined that the car they sold me is a lemon, case # OCABR 14-016U, yet they will not follow\ the decision. They have promised to pay-off the lien yet they still haven't payed even after the 21 days required by law. This isn't a rant yet Yelp refuses to post this review. I wish I could afford a Lincoln, but since Lincoln is a division of Ford Motor Company, I've been bringing my Fords to Gervais Lincoln in Lowell for a number of years for service. They always do a good job and I've never had any problems. Today, however, they really impressed me. I'm a klutz when it comes to fixing things. If I try to fix something, I break it worse than it was. The key fobs for my Ford Taurus started working only intermittently the other day, so I figured the batteries were about to go (it's been 4 years on the batteries). I looked at the fobs and couldn't figure out how to open them to get to the batteries (I didn't see any obvious place where you would pry the two halves apart). So I stopped by Gervais to have them change the batteries. I fully expected to pay their normal rates, and I was flabbergasted when there was no charge, not even for the new batteries! If I had bought batteries in a store, they would have been several dollars each. The fellow at the service desk showed me the trick to opening the fob, he went across to the parts department and got the batteries and installed them, then handed the fobs back to me and said "you're all set". I said "How much is that?" and he waved his hands and said "forget about it". I was really impressed and won't even consider going anywhere else for service. Thank you, Gervais Lincoln. read more

Recently I purchased a vehicle from Gervais, Paul (our sales representative) was amazing. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. He even took the time to call me after to follow up and see how I liked the car. The service department however I have nothing nice to say about. During the follow up call with Paul, I expressed that the car pulls to the right and I do not believe that it was doing it during the test drive. He stated that when I came back to pick up my floor mats that the service department would take a look at the alignment and see what was going on. When I went back to pick up the floor mats Paul was not available and another lovely member of the service department gave them to me and stated that he could walk me over to the service department but that since I didn't have an appointment that it would probably be a long wait. He advised me to call the service department and make an appointment. When I called to do so the service department representative stated that I probably hit a curb really hard and that it couldn't have been doing it since I picked it up since they definitely already did an alignment and there is no way that they could have forgotten to do it. read more

The service department at Gervais Lincoln Mercury stripped my oil plug when I had an oil change done in April of 2011. I found out about it a few months later when the I took the car to another dealership for a tune-up. I had to have the entire oil pan replaced as a result, costing over $300. I called of Gervais service department to discuss the issue with them, and right away the service manager started denying any responsibility or wrongdoing (evidently a practice he's quite familiar with). He insisted there was no reason for the oil pan to be replaced - interesting knee-jerk comment from someone who never saw the stripped plug - and his organization wasn't liable. Calmly I told him I would never return there if the situation wasn't addressed, and he replied "That's fine, then don't." Zero concern for the satisfaction of a customer. Zero interest in even discussing the matter further. Immediately I posted an announcement about the issue on my company's bulletin board - educating 200 people, all of whom work right next door to Gervais - and now I'm telling you. read more
