I'm currently in the market for a sports car and am in the exploration stage of the buying process. I drove 2 hours to this dealership to test drive a car and get a better feel for what's out there before making a decision. Once again, I need to give Ivam(salesman)props!! The suv I purchased w guarantee of passing inspection. I live in the state of New Hampshire and they are a sensitive state w inspections. The vehicle didn't pass,due to a safety concern with the back tires. I called Ivam and let him know and within a couple of days(holiday weekend)tires were fixed and inspection satisfactory. Absolutely no service after the sale. Car broke down after just two weeks and they refuse to fix the problem. Brought the car in several times and they refuse to fix it. Had to have the car towed and although they did pay for the tow, they either cannot fix the car, or refuse to do it right. They offered another, older car for trade but wanted an additional $2000 for an older car that we were not interested in. There was no other offers. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. At first I thought the dealer was great. Professional and friendly sales process. Quick agreement, no problems. I was ready to tell my friends how great they are and about the many nice cars they have on the lot. But that's not how it turned out. Before my purchase, I have it in writing to fix a shake the front-end. They rotated/balanced and said it was fixed. After driving after pickup I still could still feel a shake, which is exactly what I didn't want in my new race car for which I paid 35 grand of hard earned money. I wrote to my sales rep. No response. Called my sales rep. Finally a call back. He said to send pictures of the tires so they could be ordered to correct the problem. Great! A day later, sales backed out of that and said they wanted to the see the car first. I said ok, it takes me two hours of driving, please order the tires so they can be put on, if that's the problem. I don't want to drive out there more than once and I was 99% sure it was a tire problem. They didn't want to order before seeing the problem for themselves. I escalated to the owner, Charlie. He said they wanted to make sure it's not a bent rim, or something worse, etc. He also said don't worry, if it turns out to be the tires, new ones can be put on at a local TownFair Tire using a corporate account to save me another trip....I thought that was reasonable so I made the drive so they could check it out. In the end, they agreed there was still a problem that could only be fixed by new tires. But then they said they wouldn't put on new tires. Huh? The best they could do is swap with other used tires when they became available. And yes, drive another two hours to get them. Like the conversation about TownFair Tire never happened. Just another line of crap. Can I swap with another car with the same size tires? No, it has to be a full wheel swap. So now I have to wait for the exact same wheels and tires to become available. Just a bunch of crap! I thought I was dealing with a high-end dealer that would make things right. That wasn't the case. They consistently lied and would not live up to their commitment. They complained that they would go broke if they put new tires on every car, it wasn't a serious problem, it passed inspection...blah blah blah..... totally missing the point. I wasn't asking for tires on every car, just for them to live to their commitment (written and verbal) on my car. Let this be a lesson. They may appear to be a high-end, no nonsense, customer focused dealer, but they behave like any other used car dealer. Shifty, evasive and dishonest. The only way to get a dealer to give you what they promise, is to walk away from the deal when they don't. Don't take a vehicle if it's not as you expect and don't believe anything they say to get you to take it. Double check everything they say. In writing? Doesn't matter. They will seem like your best buddy until it cost them something. They said they would call me when something becomes available. Maybe in a week, two weeks, a month.. Yeah right. We purchased a porsche from Highline group in 2018 and purchased extended warranty at the same time. Earlier this year (March), we contacted Highline to cancel the warranty. We initiated the cancellation process with the initial sales person that sold us the vehicle and emailed in odometer reading as requested all in March. Then we have heard nothing back. Sure, during the pandemic, things tends to be a bit slower. So we patiently waited and followed up periodically with emails and phone calls. in July and Aug, we have attempted to contact highline a few times, however, we were told they were too busy to talk so they will call us back (no call backs) or nobody picks up so we left voicemail with call back number( of course no call back)..... During the warranty period I would ask them to fix the car, and they claimed they did. Each time, within a week, the car would break down or have major issues again. Me and my girlfriend went and bought her a 2012 civic si, as we are Honda fans and found a specific color she liked we went and looked at it. The sales guy we dealt with was very kind. (Liam) but the way these people sell cars is very wrong. As I am a mechanic I can tell what is wrong with said vehicles. I do this for a living lol. We bought the car with the intentions of driving it. That diddnt happen for 2 weeks of waiting for the car to even be ready. We had a few concerns that were met and most of them weren't. Then we finally get the car and drive it home. Within 15 days of getting this vehicle financed and off the lot, it broke down. Alternator was bad. They replaced it but decided not to advice the clutch throw out bearing noise that was covered up. Now we are going to need a clutch on top of another alternator since they did not fix the problem once again. As I'm going to just do all the work myself and I would highly not recommend going there. They said the subwoofer was the problem with the alternator. That was not plugged in either lol. I had bought my car here and was happy with mostly everything but a few things I asked to be taken care of. Some scratches, dents etc. they refused. So I know a couple people in the dent business and the rim business that I figured I could get some kind of discount and have it taken care of myself. They told me they detail the car and it was all set for me so I'm driving the car and all I can smell is mold so somebody suggested that I change the cabin filter when I brought it into the parts store they told me a critter had been living in there there was all leaves and junk in there. So a couple weeks go by and the front of my notice that the front passenger side tire has a plug in it. So I let that slide a couple weeks go by and I noticed the car is wobbling while I'm driving it and it's starting to pull to the right so I pulled into town fair tire and they came out and looked at it and said yes it's plugged in all your tires are dry rotted so I still have a remaining 30 days from a 90 day warranty for safety and defects I called the dealership and they tell me that the tires were fine when I bought it. So I told him what happened that I went to the tire shop and then I'm gonna bring it to my own mechanic and have it inspected and then they told me I could bring it down to them and they look at it but I said yeah OK after I have it inspected. I know the tires won't pass inspection. So I decided to call the attorney general and let them make a note of it I'm filing a complaint online and I also called the Better Business Bureau waiting for a return call. I definitely would never buy a car from this place again and I would never recommend anybody to go there. They just opened another one on route one. I would definitely stay away from this company they are out to rob you. Mind you I told them I'm a single parent of a legally blind daughter with disabilities that has many appointments and I'm on disability myself and can't afford to go spend $500 on three tires was my quote from Town Fair tire. Totally unsatisfied with the level of communication I received from James. While he did respond over email my question about records proving milage was never answered. As it was an older car a carfax was not available so he said he would reach out to the previous owner to see what he could do, a few days later I check to see the status and get a note back saying the car was sold an hour ago. I'm not going to claim that the milage was incorrect because I dont know but I would think if someone tells me they are going to do something I expected them to do especially when I said I would pay the full price if they could just get me some info on it. I guess others were interested in it as well so there was no point in him actually doing any extra work. Update as I read James remarks. The point is he took for ever to answer a ligimate question about the facts of the milage. He responded with email after email after I wrote this review on how I messed up, If he responded in time like that when I was asking detail he would be a better salesman. Either way he then proceeds to look me up on social media and threatens to call my company and complain about how their employees are. Who does that? How would he know where I work? High Expectations, Major Disappointment.. I have been shopping for a used Range Rover for quite a while now. While browsing online, I saw one listed for what I felt was a fair price at The High-Line Group. I met with Fred Stamatatos, who walked around with the vehicle with me. We noticed several scratches on the exterior of the car, we also noted two dents on the drivers door, one small dent on the trunk a chip in the right-rear taillight, and a few pieces of loose trim. While we were walking around the vehicle Fred told me that upon purchase of the vehicle, they have a policy in place that would assure all of the cosmetic damages we noted while looking at the car would be covered at no cost to me. I asked if they would replace the loose pieces of trim, he said yes. I asked if they would fix all of the exterior scratches, he said they will buff them out and order paint from Range Rover to do touch-ups. I asked about the dents, the chips, and the taillight and was told that all would be covered by the dealer. After a brief test drive, we went over the numbers. I felt the price was fair for a Range Rover of that year in good condition, so considering the amount of work Fred said they would put into it for me I was fine with the price. We met with the General Sales Manager quickly, and I went out to take a final look at the car while Fred made some photocopies for me. When Fred came outside with the photocopies I pointed out some major scratches on the lower plastic portion of the mirror housing. "Hmm, I'm not sure if we'll be able to fix that, It looks like it will need to be replaced which would be costly for us." I responded by asking what happened to " we will replace anything you are not satisfied with"???? So he went and grabbed has sales manager. I didn't catch the sales manager's name, but he had tan complexion. He was incredibly rude and disrespectful. Without greeting me or anything, he came right out and said "we're not replacing that." I said "what about the scratches all over the car, the chips, the dents, and the scratches on the other plastic pieces." he responded "we can try and buff the paint and see if some of the scratches come out, but they won't come out of the plastic pieces by the mirrors and on the two pillars that flank the trunk, and that's all we can do." I responded "well you're going to need to adjust the price of this car if you aren't willing to fix most of the major damage to the car." In the most rude and disrespectful tone he said "we're not budging on price, if you don't like the car then you can go to a different dealership". I have never felt so disrespected, nor have had such a terrible experience at a car dealer. I regret every minute that I spent there today and I will never go back. There's no justifying these sleazy sales tactics, or treating customers the way they treated me today. I am disgusted with the peasant who calls himself a "manager", buying a car should be a positive experience and I advise anybody thinking of buying a car from here to look elsewhere. Update: I read the remarks from Charles F. It's pathetic that you would insinuate I'm "racially biased" based on my review. I would describe MYSELF as someone who has a tan complexion. He took great care to make sure the entire experience was excellent checking in on us often during the hour we were there. Although I came in with my own financing, Sonya was a rockstar and beat my rate. She made the paperwork easy and explained everything. It was hard to choose from the available cars on lot. You cannot trust these guys for anything. They will make promise on top of promise they have no intention of keeping. I would never do business with them again, and here are just a few of the reasons. I bought a beautiful 3 year old Subaru Forester XT from them (Manager James Bouras), and: -The brake pads and rotors were completely worn out, as verified by an independent mechanic. They agreed at the time of signing to replace them, and I was smart enough to get that on paper (attached). When I picked up the car a week later, after they told me repairs had been made and it was ready for pickup, they tried to give it to me with the same old rusted rotors and worn out brake pads. I had to argue with them to replace them, and they insisted they couldn't do that then (a really simple job), and they wouldn't pay for an external garage to do that then as they should have. They would come and pick up the car from me at a later date, have it done, and return the car to me. Already at this point, they've tried to avoid doing the agreed upon work, hoping that I would be too dumb to notice. BUT THEN when I tried to schedule having the car picked up for the work to be done, they told me they couldn't pick it up and that I would have to bring it in. I had to argue with them again (now for the third or fourth time AFTER signing for the car) in order to get them to do what they've already agreed to. -The air conditioning did not work. When I took it to the outside mechanic prior to signing, they confirmed that the A/C Compressor was bad. I got on paper (attached) that they would service the A/C and replace the compressor. Only AFTER did the service manager try to argue with me that they didn't know the compressor was bad and that they would do "whatever we have to do to get it running but not necessarily replace the compressor". Less than a year later, the A/C is not working again, and it's confirmed that it's a leak from the A/C compressor (bought the car in July of last year, so only used the A/C for a couple months until now). So what it definitely seems like they did was compensate for the leak by filling it with coolant -- really cheap -- hoping that by the time it leaked out again the next spring and the existing expensive problem revealed itself again, I would no longer bother them for it and just take pay for the $800+ of work myself. Additional sketchy behavior: -$600 doc fee. They make their prices look more competitive relative to other dealers by having an exorbitant doc fee -- double what is typically charged. -They surprised me after purchasing with ONE set of keys, not two. A car comes with two sets of keys! If you are going to buy from them, make sure you check the number of keys first, but as you can see above, even if they agree to give you a second key, you've given yourself a job of chasing them around for weeks to maybe honor their word, maybe not. JUST DON'T DO IT! DON'T GO TO THEM! read more

My boyfriend and I went here to buy him a car and they did not have any problems selling the car ASAP and told us the car would be ready in a few days for pickup as we drove from another state. When we went to go pick it up we called before and made sure it was all set. We drove the 2 plus hours up to there and they then told us they weren't in possession of the title and therefore we couldn't take the car (drove over two hours for nothing even though they told us we could get it that day). For a compensation they said they would pay 1 month of the payment as well as deliver the car so we didn't have to drive up again. Eventually around 3 weeks after the initial purchase they told us the title would be mailed to the house and they kept pushing it further and further away. Then they said they couldn't give us the car until we got it registered but we wouldn't be able to register the car without having the car inspected and such things. After all this waiting around we decided to just take the drive up to pickup the car ourselves since it was clear they didn't want to take the drive to deliver it. Up there we didn't think it would be unreasonable to ask them to pay for another month since we had to wait almost a month to pick the car up, and the other month was supposed to be a compensation for the long wait to get it (To make it clear we wanted them to pay for the month we didnt have the car, then have the other month payment as an inconvenience compensation). The owner came up to us and got VERY offended by us asking this and said things like "can you tell me what it is we agreed on", "I don't like that" (about asking for another months payment to be paid by them) and "if you don't want the car anymore you can take back your deposit" and was just all around acting really rude to us. It was not like we were set on the extra month and were insisting on it, we simply just asked if that would be a possibility. Anyway, so they wrote us a letter saying they would pay the first month and give the check for it AFTER it was registered so we waited and did so. There were many calls of being put on hold and HUNG UP on multiple time trying to get this check they promised us. Between this time, the oil change signal turns on, even though we waited an extra day to pick up the car for them to 'change all the fluids'. It's clear no one changed them if they're signaling a change only a month after receiving the car. Also, the brakes pad are already starting to get worn out (only about a month after getting the car) so we have to replace them. On top of all of this, the second key the gave us (spare key) is damaged and doesn't work! In conclusion, this establishment needs to be deeply reviewed and change their ways. They are unprofessional and frankly very rude to their customers. I would not recommended this place no matter how badly you want a certain car. Now, there are many good reviews here and there, but the bad reviews really show a lot of things in common and you never know if you will come out scammed or with a 'good car'. Unfortunately after buying and owning the 2011 GMC Terrain for 2 years with less than 60k miles on it, the transmission let go and cost me $4200 out my pocket to fix. Had to use my 401k to get it fixed. And about 1 year after the transmission let go, the timing chain let go, was going to cost $1500+ - couldn't afford it had to train in for a lease. The car is under limited warranty, but since I live in northern Vermont, towing it to Lowell would probably cost that at least half that much. I called James and asked them to help out with the cost as a gesture of good will and he said he would look into it. He never called back. Not impressed. I was also told that the car had "no rust" and when I came down to visit, it was clear that the car DID have rust. Let me tell you, I am absolutely disgusted with the condition of the car that was showed to me. First, it was covered in pollen, and you could tell it was left out with the convertible top down as there were spider webs, leaves and pollen all over the inside. Second, Jim promised me over the phone that the convertible top and front bumper were in perfect condition - but both parts needed to be fully replaced! We came in last weekend to check out two used cars that were listed online. Both cars were in okay condition and we seriously considered buying one. We sat down with one of the guys who claimed to be the "owner" to negotiate a price. After two minutes of fast talking and pressure, he shuffles us into the back room with their "finance guy." We make clear that we are going to buy a car today but that we want to check out a few other places. Then the owner comes back and starts speaking over us, won't answer our questions, and literally yelled at us. We just walked out. I went to High-line to buy an older high mileage vehicle. They had priced the car $2,600 over the average suggested retail price on NADA and Kelley Blue Book. I made them an offer for $500 under their stick price (still $2,100 over suggested retail value) and they refused to work with me. The steering was shaky and the car was all dinged up, it was going to need some work. I suggest finding a dealer that is willing to be more transparent with their pricing and sell cars at fair values. read more

I recently visited this dealership and was appalled at the rudeness and lack of professionalism of the salesman John. He did not introduce himself when I arrived, even though I had set up an appointment and he was sitting and chatting with a co-worker. When I returned from my test drive John was rude and dismissive, he did not offer a place to sit or answer questions clearly or logically. While we were talking he frequently interrupted to speak to other co workers about social things. The one positive was Fabio, he was friendly and welcoming, he should be the guy behind the big desk instead of John who obviously has zero people skills. read more

I have purchased 2 cars from High Line and due to the fact that one of them was just potentially totaled we are looking at purchasing a third. The first car I purchased lasted me 8 years, it then lasted my husband 2 and is STILL running and passed down to a family member. The 2nd car I purchased was with us for 2 years with NO issues (regular maintenance of course which is not a fault is expected!) and we are looking at a third. I TRUST this dealership implicitly. If there was an issue with a vehicle here I truly believe they would resolve it immediately. I also have to make something clear... If you buy a used car it is rarely going to be perfect. I learned the hard way that spending less than $7-$8k on a decent used car is going to get me what I pay for. People don't leave the good reviews as often as they leave the bad. I don't typically leave reviews unless my experience has been EXCEPTIONAL and I never go back to a place that has not done everything in their power to make my experience beyond what I expect it to be. For every bad review you see here I'm willing to be there are 25 incredibly satisfied customers at minimum. Don't pass up High Line. They care about their customers and reward loyalty. 3 cars... I strongly recommend anyone looking for a car to look elsewhere. I am surprised this place is not shut down yet; they are not a legitimate business. They sell faulty cars and were sued multiple times in court, with the judgment being against them. I purchased my vehicle, which had a faulty steering wheel. Thankfully, the law is on my side, but I am writing this review to save people the money, time, and danger from dealing with them. read more
