I get free membership through my insurance and this year my insurance changed and I was converted to the Silver sneakers program. For some reason they are unable to process this and I have been locked out for two weeks. Four attempts to email support and three trips to a gym 20 miles away to talk to a real person have produced no results. And this is only my latest experience with this worthless customer service department. All in the effort to exercise at a place where machines break down and lockers dont lock.

They will continue to build a balance and then send it to collections. They had been sending mine to the wrong address for a better part of a year. Spoke to someone from renegade who basically said "oops" you still owe that money. Absolutely awful. Please I beg you to stay away at all costs. Build a home gym.

Most of the equipment is outdated and unsafe and I have been out of there a little over 2 months and still have not updated most of it. They do good things for the kids however some of the coaches there have no buisness being around kids as one beat up a teenager (real role model google his name) and another... well..... Made national headlines. And working there? Sucked!! The personal trainer left over from the old ownership used to have our Co-workers text her and call her everytime this certain guy came in with friends.. The kicker?? She's married! Was like working in a junior high and she always tagged the girls name in the screen as very rude names. Also made fun of a lot of the members which is not cool for a personal trainer. There is no way to tell which classes will be heated ahead of time and there is no way to email the center to ask questions about the classes because the online "contact us" form on the website is designed so you can't read what you are writing. The people at the desk don't know anything about the classes. The new online calendar is difficult to even find classes and there is no longer a printable class schedule. Not so zen lately. Hope it gets better!

The Staff in the Norwich location is engaging and the location is very convenient for me. My…read moreconcern has always been the low number of available, well working upright bikes. I would guess that there were 6 or 7 bikes with 1 or 2 not working well or out of service. Since the recent equipment upgrade, there are only 2 basic upright bikes, and one has been out of service 2 times since installation. I am age 70, in recovery mode indefiniately, with nerve issues affecting my lower body (neuropothy), and hip trouble. Non-weight-bearing excercise is what I (and others) need. We simply want to remain mobile by hopping on the bike for 30 minutes or so and keep blood flowing to our lower extremities. Treadmill is not the answer and recumbent bikes are not comfortable for the hip. The Norwich location needs more upright bikes. Most staff that I have spoken to agree.
