The countertop and cabinets were not wiped and I had to call them back to do the work. Afterwards I checked other parts of the apartment and they didn't clean the fridge or other cabinets well. As you can see in the pictures there was still a lot of dirt. If I can wipe dust off with a simple towel, I expect that a cleaning service can do so as well. The price is cheap but you get what you pay for and be warned, it is definitely not a deep clean.

This company does not list a service area on their website or on Angie's List where they're also listed. I could have saved a little time had that info been posted. B. After telling me she doesn't service the suburbs, she proceeded to ask when I needed a crew and I told her anytime after Friday and she said, "I wouldn't be able to get a crew there on Friday." She just told me that she doesn't service my area, but then asks when I need someone? As though she might consider coming to my area? Also, I told her anytime AFTER Friday and she said she couldn't get a crew to me ON Friday, even though I said anytime after Friday. Next... Why is it so hard to find a good highly rated house cleaning service in the Northwest suburbs!? I called three high rated cleaning companies for a quote (one was this company, previously named Simple Spaces) and only one called me back. I guess business is booming, so much so that no one needs additional business. If I'm outside of your service area, then just tell me so I don't waste my time calling you back. We've used them in our Apartment, and now in our new home, and the service is fantastic. Everything ends up spotless, and I really appreciate the green cleaning supplies that they use. Janelle has always been responsive to me, and very willing to work with my availability. I work from home, so scheduling can be a challenge, but her team always gives me a head's up when they are coming by so I can decide if I want to head out to lunch or something to not be in their way. Janelle's rates also seem to be more affordable than some other options we looked at. They definitely fit into our budget and we couldn't be more pleased. I highly recommend Simple Spaces.
