I say "seemingly" because even though some of the equipment is higher priced doesn't necessarily translate to being the best. Now realistically this is a 5% issue STRICTLY in my opinion. No right or wrong here. Just FYI this is NOT a 24hr gym like I would expect at this price point. Overall the gym has a good layout. The leg options are quite good. However one plate loaded leg extension and 1 plate loaded seated leg curl.... These are very popular pieces of equipment maybe an investment in another set of these two is in the future and hopefully with a pin loadable stack of weight just for easier drop sets. Also it seems like there are a lot of cable stations but there really isn't. Price is a bit high but it limits some of the less experienced and/or disruptive clientele. So maybe not a terrible thing. The BIGGEST issue with this place are the dumbbells and fortunately an easy fix. The DBs are polished chrome and visually they look nice however seeing what the weight of the DB is difficult. Furthermore the weight of the DB is listed under where they are placed so it's even double tough to find the particular DBs you're looking for. The quick fix label the DBs between the handles. That way you can just look over the weights. Scan through. And find the proper DBs. As per staff: Very little interaction but friendly enough when I check in. Finally, this is a very nice and well maintained spot. I think there are a lot more "Pros" over "Cons" concerning joining this gym. Yeah you'll catch a couple folks not cleaning up their weights from machines. But just for their Leg area alone is worth joining. Granted I did NOT join but I have too many gyms as it is

Right when you walk in there is the check-in desk on the right and two treadmills on the left. There are also Monster & Reign energy drinks for you to purchase if you forget your preworkout. If I recall correctly, Iron Cowboy has 6 racks and 5 deadlift platforms. The barbells, plates, and many of the equipment are all brand new! I also love the details on the equipment featuring Deathgrip Derek's logo. As for accessories, it is a little limited but you can definitely get the basics done with the machines available. It does get a little crowded in the evening time since that's when most people work out but the members are all kind enough to work in together. Speaking of kind, I got to meet the owners Derek and Maggy- they were both very welcoming and I am super excited for their ideas on expanding the gym in the near future! I recently moved home to take care of a sick parent, and slowly felt my body getting soft & puffy, and my energy greatly diminishing. I typically work out at the Y downtown, and although this location does not top my favorite location, I was pleasantly surprised. There are high ceiling in the machine area, which is important to me...I have been to some locations with low ceilings, and it does not make for a good workout experience for me. The staff member who greeted me was curt, and borderline rude. I explained to her that I had never been to this location before, and if she could give me a quick rundown. I asked her how to get to the machines, and she pointed to the correct door. I asked her if there were small lockers for wallets and change, and she said "you'll see them when you get in there"...she didn't bother to point out the rest rooms, locker rooms, pool, etc. She was more concerned with me scanning my card immediately to be sure that I was a "city wide" so she could quit dealing with me if I wasn't. This location does not have individual TV screens on each machine, and does not offer towels...you have to bring your own. Also the sensor for bottles on the water fountain in the workout area was broken. All of the machines were nice, clean, and fairly new. I went during the day and the crowd was a nice mix of seemingly decent folks. I will definitely go back here without any issue. I would rate this lower due to the staff, but the environment was pleasant, and after the initial orientation, there is little reason to interact with staff.

Anytime access for members and fun events they have throughout the year. The main thing that enticed me to get a membership was the cleanliness of the studio and attention to detail. Unfortunately over the last year the ball has been dropped in both areas. The amount of broken equipment continues to grow. There's been a broken rower that used to leak water in the back of the open gym area for months now. We used to see them clean all the time and my last visit I had to exit a sauna due to the amount of dust triggering my allergies. I'm not sure if the high turnover rate has anything to do with this but I truly hope they can turn it around in 2025. I've gotten multiple friends to sign up. A couple have moved due to the over saturation of locations in the area. I really love the concept and will continue to try and introduced more ppl to HOTWORX.

Not only am I now committed to an Awesome gym, I have a bunch of new friends that are on a similar journey as me. The coaches are great!. I have to give a huge shout out to Coach Andrew and Coach J for pushing me to not give up during a workout session. For pushing me to get to next level. Coach Michelle has been there for me when I couldn't get my meal plans right and making me accountable for not following the process. And I can't forget Coach John for motivating me on Saturday mornings. I have a long way to go, but I am a Triber now from the inside out! This place Rocks!
