I've been coming here for over 20 years. i really do love it here! it's been redecorated a few times over the years and is really nice! the best thing i can say is that my nails (gel x) does not chip! 4-5 weeks later i need to go back just because it's grown out ...but I think i've had a chip once ever. I've tried places closer to my home (del mar area) and never done as good. FYI #1- they do not have OPI colors so if you know what you like google the equivalent color (see my pics for the brands they carry) FYI #2 - 3.5% charge for credit card use. the TV's are playing Asian food shows...pretty cool but i just listen to a podcast when i remember my airpods. current favorite is DNA #110 other favorite is Trendy #T-08 read more

I visited this nail spa extremely last minute on a Thursday evening as a walk-in for a gel pedicure, I called before and asked if there was a long wait, I was assured that I could be helped right away. I got there in 10 minutes, checked in and was sat immediately. I am blown away by the level of customer service, cleanliness, and gel color selection! I was in and out in no time! I didn't get the name of the lady who did my pedicure, but she was very attentive and paid so much attention to the details of my very simple pedicure. I have tried many nail salons in San Diego, but I found my new home for mani/pedis! I paid $67 for a gel pedicure with the callus treatment add-on and it was very well worth my money. It shows that my previous nail was prepped right for gel x and now Sofia did great on manicure. I could tell that she was being careful not to damage my natural nails. My nails were left not clean and they have too many additional charges. Also the lady in the front cashier was mean. Not friendly. GIRL MOMS PLEASE READ! I booked my 8 year old daughter's manicure with a design on their website. They had called and confirmed my service, appointment time and add-on. CHECK-IN: Day of my appointment, we check in and they seat my 8 year old daughter at a section, where I can't sit with her. Which I thought was very inconvenient, but just grabbed a little rolling chair next to her to avoid leaving her unattended. We noticed they are offering everyone else waters, sodas and other refreshments and not us. The 1st thing my daughter said to me after walking out of the salon was "I felt like we were treated very unfair in there." SERVICE: We booked a design, it cost extra. We were DENIED EVERY DESIGN SHOWN, but we're still charged the design fees. We were denied a star, flower, smiley face and even a simple french tip. My daughter's nails weren't short and her nail beds are too small for a design. We asked for maybe stickers or gems, because my daughter was sad she couldn't get what she wanted. The tech said they had them, but wouldn't show them to us because "too much". I told her I didn't mind paying and it would be an alternative since designs "aren't an option". The tech just kept saying "no too much". QUALITY: My daughter chose 2 colors, the tech never asked what her idea was for the 2 colors and just started painting them how she wanted. There is visible debris under her polish, the paint is very uneven, her nails are very uneven. The tech was holding my daughter's hands straight out with no support and getting upset when she wouldn't keep her hands still. During the "massage", she yanked my daughter arm causing her to almost fall out of her chair. OVERALL: We will not be returning. I don't appreciate how we were treated. I don't think they should advertise a whole kids section, if they aren't willing to treat them as real customers. I paid $45 for a gel manicure and design (we didn't get). I felt they were just trying to get us in and out in a hurry to make room for "higher paying customers". Don't advertise kids services, if you've never worked or don't want to work with kids. read more

They do such an amazing job with my pedicures I have been here twice now & everything about the experience was just amazing from start to finish! All staff I've had are so sweet and friendly. They greeted me asking what beverage I would like to enjoy during my service (that apparently they include with your service, how awesome is that!) I came in with a dilemma, since my big toe suffered some blunt force when I dropped my steel bottle on it, so the nail turned black. They were able to fulfill my wishes of still wanting a French tip, but use a full coverage nude color to hide it all! She even tested different colors until we found the right one. My French tip pedicure came out amazing & I no longer feel embarrassed to hide my toe! The foot & leg massage is just the cherry on-top! Every time I come here it has truly been relaxing and just what I need. I will be back soon! read more

I went in for a gel manicure and they didn't even file or do any prep work before applying polish. I trusted the process thinking maybe they're using a modern polish that didn't require prep work but the video attached shows what my nails looked like the next day. And I was unable to come in for a fix because I departed for vacation the next day. This was incredibly disappointing since it is a $45 service. Also would like to add that during getting my nails done, the lady forgot to clean off the French tip before putting my hand in the UV lamp and once she realized what had happened, she filed the tip off and attempted to fix it but it ended up looking bumpy. I am not one to write negative reviews and really wanted to like this place since it's really close to my home but the experience will make it difficult to return. I got gel French tips on both my feet and hands, and they are the best French tips I have ever gotten! Stephen and Hannah or Anna I believe did my nails. I will request them every time. I came in and asked for gel x nails and I was very disappointed. I showed her my nail inspo and my nails turned out nothing like the picture. The color was wrong and the nail design was even worse. She used so much glue they looked 3D from the side. My nails were also crooked. It was a total nightmare. The more I looked at my nails the more mistakes I noticed. I paid over $100 for this nail set. I don't know if the nail techs know how to apply gel x nails but I will not be coming back again. If I could rate this 0 stars I would. Everyone is friendly and a great place but not sure every single nail tech knows what they are doing. I had a horrible experience. read more

Very disappointed - $140 wasted. Called on Tuesday & specifically requested for Melissa on Thursday. Thursday is here, I walk in at 8:58 for a 9am appt with Melissa as confirmed on the phone by a male, but apparently she was getting double booked so I was given 2 different techs and not satisfied with the service, massage (pedi only. No soaking or cuticle care was done, no lotion was applied and no massage for the Mani, unlike what Melissa usually does). My nails look tacky, sloppy, & cheap compared to the inspo photo I showed. Melissa would've easily been able to deliver. I already wasnt feeling them halfway into the service but more reason to save money & just do press ons unfortunately. Needed a last minute mani pedi for me and my disabled mom and decided to return to the nail salon we used to go to for many years. Will never be coming back after seeing my mom's nail tech almost break her hand trying to force it into the UV lamp. My mom has had a stroke and cannot fully open her hand especially when stressed. Finally the tech said she couldn't do her nails because my mom couldn't cooperate. Luckily the male tech doing my nails said he could finish her nails it would just take a little longer. We've never had any issues at any other salon getting her nails done but it of course takes patience which was something her nail tech did not have. Unfortunately they had the same tech come back and finish her nails which she hesitantly did, making my mom very uncomfortable. If you're disabled, this salon will likely not provide you with reasonable accommodations which is against the law. I'm so disappointed in this place. read more
