I visited this nail spa extremely last minute on a Thursday evening as a walk-in for a gel pedicure, I called before and asked if there was a long wait, I was assured that I could be helped right away. I got there in 10 minutes, checked in and was sat immediately. I am blown away by the level of customer service, cleanliness, and gel color selection! I was in and out in no time! I didn't get the name of the lady who did my pedicure, but she was very attentive and paid so much attention to the details of my very simple pedicure. I have tried many nail salons in San Diego, but I found my new home for mani/pedis! I paid $67 for a gel pedicure with the callus treatment add-on and it was very well worth my money. It shows that my previous nail was prepped right for gel x and now Sofia did great on manicure. I could tell that she was being careful not to damage my natural nails. I'm back and plan to continue coming here for as long as I'm working in national city. Seeing that I'm nowhere near retirement that'll still be a while. The menus have changed over the years. Their decor has changed a few new people here and there, but it's the same lovely service. Everybody's so kind. They do an amazing job. They do such an amazing job with my pedicures I have been here twice now & everything about the experience was just amazing from start to finish! All staff I've had are so sweet and friendly. They greeted me asking what beverage I would like to enjoy during my service (that apparently they include with your service, how awesome is that!) I came in with a dilemma, since my big toe suffered some blunt force when I dropped my steel bottle on it, so the nail turned black. They were able to fulfill my wishes of still wanting a French tip, but use a full coverage nude color to hide it all! She even tested different colors until we found the right one. My French tip pedicure came out amazing & I no longer feel embarrassed to hide my toe! The foot & leg massage is just the cherry on-top! Every time I come here it has truly been relaxing and just what I need. I will be back soon! read more

I went in for a gel manicure and they didn't even file or do any prep work before applying polish. I trusted the process thinking maybe they're using a modern polish that didn't require prep work but the video attached shows what my nails looked like the next day. And I was unable to come in for a fix because I departed for vacation the next day. This was incredibly disappointing since it is a $45 service. Also would like to add that during getting my nails done, the lady forgot to clean off the French tip before putting my hand in the UV lamp and once she realized what had happened, she filed the tip off and attempted to fix it but it ended up looking bumpy. I am not one to write negative reviews and really wanted to like this place since it's really close to my home but the experience will make it difficult to return. It was my first experience at the salon and was immediately welcomed. I originally only wanted a pedicure but the person doing my pedicure said if I change my mind, to let her know. Eventually I added a manicure and they were super quick to have someone work on my manicure at the same time. The space is super clean and the staff is super friendly. I just came to Oleisure Nails for the first time and my experience was amazing. The woman at the front desk was super kind and sweet. I got gel French tips on both my feet and hands, and they are the best French tips I have ever gotten! Stephen and Hannah or Anna I believe did my nails. I will request them every time. They were super sweet and funny, and damn good at their jobs. The salon itself had a very relaxing, clean, and nice vibe. It felt safe, inviting, and very classy. I came in and asked for gel x nails and I was very disappointed. I showed her my nail inspo and my nails turned out nothing like the picture. The color was wrong and the nail design was even worse. She used so much glue they looked 3D from the side. My nails were also crooked. It was a total nightmare. The more I looked at my nails the more mistakes I noticed. I paid over $100 for this nail set. I don't know if the nail techs know how to apply gel x nails but I will not be coming back again. If I could rate this 0 stars I would. Everyone is friendly and a great place but not sure every single nail tech knows what they are doing. I had a horrible experience. read more

I used to love this place when I lived two min away and since I moved I decided to just make the drive since no other nail salon has met my standards. Well, after half a year I go back with my friend (who I bragged about this place to ) and their quality has gone way down... I'm talking nails use to last 5 weeks to now chipping/popping off within a day. I had a nail pop off and my friend's nail broke. Mistakes happen though and I was thinking that it was maybe due to past acrylic from different locations. I came back for a fill, I actually loved the job but the gel would chip the next day making them look old and not like a fresh set but whatever it was the FIRST time someone has ever listened to the shape I wanted and matching the last powder base correctly so I booked an appt for Sunday at 2pm. Mind you, I work in night life so a girl is always tired so it's hard to commit to appointments and I unfortunately need my nails done for my job. I get there at exactly 2pm, they have never took me a minute before my appt, and they take three people in front of me who by what I overheard sounded like walk-ins... I guess it's just another money hungry business but whatever I have an appointment should get to me soon right? No, 30min later someone comes and then gives me the ugliest looking french set. I did not have the energy in me to even correct anything. I'm just not spending my hard earn money in this place anymore. Powder color is WRONG, girl even looked at my nails like she definitely didn't do a good job and the acrylic was so thin one nail already broke and it's only Wednesday... beautiful place, with nice employees but I rather drive 30miles to a small business girl who does $50 gel x sets and can give you art of nails. read more

Very disappointed - $140 wasted. Called on Tuesday & specifically requested for Melissa on Thursday. Thursday is here, I walk in at 8:58 for a 9am appt with Melissa as confirmed on the phone by a male, but apparently she was getting double booked so I was given 2 different techs and not satisfied with the service, massage (pedi only. No soaking or cuticle care was done, no lotion was applied and no massage for the Mani, unlike what Melissa usually does). My nails look tacky, sloppy, & cheap compared to the inspo photo I showed. Melissa would've easily been able to deliver. I already wasnt feeling them halfway into the service but more reason to save money & just do press ons unfortunately. I didn't even say bye or double check my change - I just had to leave. read more

This review is for the young man that almost did my nails today. He was wearing a long tunic top. I'm impressed with the level of bad attitude he gave me when I told him I was sensitive to the drill. Also, as I was plugging in my headphones to my phone he was tapping his fingers on the table with like a "oh gawd can you hurry up" energy. I'm a hairstylist so i am extra conscious of how I enter my self care establishments. But one thing I will NOT do is sit there while you grab my hand like I'm your stepchild and pretend like you're doing me a favor. I professionally told him to kick rocks and he walked away talking sh*#. Like, sir...go sit down somewhere with that mocoso new booty attitude. I would NEVER give this nail salon my business EVER again. HORRIBLE SERVICE. They did my nails and they looked so sloppy and horrible. I didn't have time to redo my nails so I said can I just pay $50 instead of $70 because I have to pick up my daughter. This specific nail tech has done my nails for years and I have never had an issue with him until today. He was so RUDE and not helpful or courteous. He said no then proceeded to take off the paint. Mind you I've been going to this salon for years. I asked to use my points towards the bill upon checkout but The lady speaks no English. Then I ask for a receipt and they are unable to provide me one for some reason? I paid $100 but they only provided me a receipt for $25.88.I cannot believe I've spent so much money here, NEVER AGAIN. I think I went to whatever this nail salon used to be, I don't remember the name, but it has now rebranded to Oleisure Nails Spa. I came here recently for a pedicure. They have a nice little check-in tablet, easy to use. I got a pedicure and everything about it was great. I did one of the upgraded packages. The foot massage was so good, I nodded off a bit I was so relaxed. I got a simple red glitter gel polish, but I love it. She did a very good job. For my previous gel removal, she used the drill file and soaked it off. Personally, I hate when they try to rush and scrape it all off. I feel like my nails are so damaged after. So I liked her method of removal. It's located in a nice little shopping center with lots of parking. You can't charge tip to your card, and can only do it through cash or Venmo, which I prefer anyway. I will continue to come to this location for my pedicure needs. read more
