NEVER AGAIN!!! I have been coming to Get Nailed for over a decade. Not once have I been offered so much as a bottle of water. Not even a $5 off for my bday. Nothing zilch nada Lee does my nails. He does an ok job and is pretty quick. I took my daughter to get her first set of nails for her 12th bday. Left to get my boy from daycare and returned to a $65 mess. Her nails are misshaped some are so wide they could be toe nails. I was so upset but didn't want to ruin her bday. I told Lee he was wrong for that he tries to tell me something about a picture. That picture didn't tell you to fuck her nails up. He stood on the $65. I paid and left. My daughter isn't happy with it but said it's fine for her bday. I've been going here for a couple of months. It has been a hit or miss with finding a good technician. I have learned that the men in the salon do hands the best and the women are better for the pedicures. So I finally found Tony that does nails very well so I would always go to him. And he always did a great job. I did have a bad experience the last time I went which was just a week and a half ago where I was trying to get my nails done like a picture I showed him. He was telling me to pick out the colors but also trying to do my nails at the same time which made it difficult for me to look through the color options. So I thought that he would be able to help me find the color that went with the picture better. He just kept telling me that all the color on the pictures are different then nail colors there. Which I understood but I was trying to find something as similar as possible and it just seemed like he didn't want to help me find the colors. He wanted me to look at myself but like I said he was working on my hands which made it hard for me to look through the color options. It was a little busy in the shop and he seems to be highly requested and he had an appointment after me. So I picked a couple of colors so that I could see them closer up to see if I like them. He proceeded to start putting the colors on my nails and after I looked I told her I don't really like these colors together. His response was well I have people after you maybe you can come back in two weeks and do a color change. Which really threw me off because he's always been very accommodating when I am there. I informed him I was not happy with the colors that are on my nails and I want to get the colors that I want. And he wasn't willing to change them. I don't know how this place stays in business. It is one of THE most unsanitary establishments I've ever been to. Almost all of the workers are barefoot walking around, when they're not openly sleeping in the pedicure chairs. The manicure I received was one of the worst ever. I have no clue why this place has such good reviews. First, it's dirty all over. There are cobwebs everywhere, trash and dirt on the floor, and nail polish flung onto every surface. Secondly, my nails look a mess. The woman didn't bother to push or cut my cuticles, and when i brought this up she just put more polish over my cuticles. I also have a ton of bubbles in my polish, which tells me it's old. She left polish all over my skin, I've seriously never had a manicure where they didn't push cuticles down and get nail polish off your skin.
