I loved this place and would always come here but regrettably I stopped since I showed up 2 appointments and my nail tech didn't show up and no one else could help me. I drive 30 min so it was super inconvenient and unprofessional to tell me she won't come after I'm already there. The absolute most unsanitary, unsafe manicure(if you can call it that)of my life. Have you ever had a manicure where your nails are not soaked before cuticle pushback or cutting?! Or where your old nail polish wasn't removed before filing? I sit in the chair and immediately she starts filing. No bowl of water to soak. No removal of my existing polish. No asking whether I wanted shorter or anything. Three swipes of the file in each direction. Done. All sharp as heck and uneven. I made a comment and she laughed and said no hurry (?) Then she starts pushing my cuticles back. HARD. No lotion or softener. No soaking either remember. So she's pushing dry cuticles. They started to crack. She then takes the clippers and starts DIGGING into my skin looking for something to cut. Immediately I start bleeding. I say ouch and she smiles. I ask pls don't cut them. Oh yah. None of the tools were in any kind of sanitation liquid. They weren't sprayed w acetone or alcohol or anything to disinfect. Red. Friken. Flag So now that all my nails are bleeding she decided to take he polish off. With acetone. On my open wounded cuticles. Oh my ouch. Then I just gave up. She couldn't get the polish on my nails only my skin. The nails were horrible and uneven and painful. I will never ever ever go back. I got my nails done yesterday and it was just very mediocre. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't the best. I bought a Groupon so I got what I paid for. I think for $30 gel and pedicure it was a great deal! But I would never pay full price. They were very accommodating and the girl that did my nails was extremely sweet. She tried speaking English and I liked her. So I gave her a tip. But it wasn't the best job. My feet you can tell the polish job was a little rushed. The cuticles on my hands don't look the best. Extremely convenient location since its close job & no wait time for my walk in appointment. The lady that did my pedicure was so nice! I would come back just to have her service me again. She was kind and got to know me without prying into my life. The lady that did my acrylics though wasn't the best, but I would give her another shot since my nails looked nice... I love this place normally and I have been coming for at least a year. I won't be back for a long time due to today's visit. I came with an appointment. Due to one of the previous customers arriving very late, it took an hour to only get my old gel mani wrapped for removal. As I am currently still here, and the employee doing my pedicure has constantly been on the phone: texting and calling. I have literally never seen such worse service in my life. I am not a complainer but had to jump on yelp and leave this review. I just started the gel manicure after being here over 2 hours and she's back on her phone!! She has a tattoo of "Alessia" on her wrist. After today's excellent service, I will be exploring other options in the area. Please train or retrain staff on proper etiquette. I was there for 3 HOURS!!! In case you are not familiar, it should take 1.5 hours at most. That's half the time. I've been here a couple of times mostly because of the $30 gel mani/pedi, you can't beat this price. But the last time I went about a week ago my experience was less than desirable. It's very easy to get an appointment. The girl that did my mani/pedi was very nice, but she went to twin with my cuticles and some of them bled. I didn't realize how much they hurt until the next day and they hurt for about 3-4 days. You can see in the pictures how they now have scabs. The pedicuras not an issue and she did a great job with my feet, this the 3 stars. The other issue I had was with customer service. The girls are nice and speak mostly Spanish, few of them speak. English. There were only a couple customers and there were like six staff so they had a lo of chatter which was on until it started to get out of hand. They started to bring up how one of them was not cleaning and she got very upset and was talking back loudly. I was the only customer at that time and this was very uncomfortable. One of the girls asked her to stop as I was there, but she didn't. It was so unprofessional and made me feel extremely uncomfortable that I had to ask her to please stop and to respect me and her coworkers. I don't want to be listening to that during me time where I look forward to a bit of self care! It got so uncomfortable that I won't be coming back. The great price does not compensate the lack of professionalism and cuticle care (ouch!). read more

I'm so sad and disappointed .... I got my nails done there three weeks ago and I had got such a good vibe off the girl and place and everything, that I even left them good reviews shouted them out and everything ! I thought I had actually finally found my Permanent spot for regular fill ins and such around here. Well dam was I disappointed at the end. The nails all started coming off and lifting. And it seems like she didn't like buff them down too good cause it had like a mountain kind of thing that when I touch my hair or clothes or something it would stay getting caught to stuff! Super annoying ughhh. but anyway even with that I was "still" going to go back because she was cool. She even offered to do a house call because I have a newborn baby and I literally have it impossible to leave and even keep the baby calm somewhere so long. The ladies are extremely slow. It's not the place you want to go if you are in a hurry. Also, the nail polish was gone by the second day, and usually my nails last a week. (Keep in mind is not cheap in comparison with tons of places in miami where you can get better deals ). As far as the pedicure is concern, they'll simple wash your feet and paint your nail. FANTASTIC! My experience at Get Nailed by Dee was truly amazing!!! My nails were a hot mess before I got there and let me tell you that Yudy worked absolute magic on my nails. I had unhealthy disgusting acrylics on and once Yudy took charge my acrylic nails look good as new and best yet super natural!
