Going to acupuncturist for about 45 years, I feel that Jessica is one of the best all around acupuncturists in the county. Some specialize in different health issues, but after three years, I don't think there has been anyone that has been able to help all health issues. Kaiser had her on their list after my lung surgery. As one can imagine, I had severe nerve pain, she helped ease the pain a lot better than taking nerve pain drugs. I absolutely could not be happier with Jessica Cole at Get Your Qi On. To begin with, the office manager, Joanne, is just delightful. Full of personality and delight, and very efficient with all her office procedures, bookkeeping, appointment reminders and billing. Their space, is so peaceful and gentle and healing. It's quiet and calm and Zen - fully decorated. I especially find their bathroom beautiful, even with a sky light in there. Sometimes you will see the cup in jars all clean, you know, she sanitizers everything . The beds are heated and I just sink right into them. The rooms go quiet and dim, and you have the option of music for your experience. I find it nothing short of time travel. I fall into the deepest relaxation I have ever felt, and let the acupuncture just do its job. And at the end of that, Jessica does some warm, gentle stretches on me, and it is all just heavenly, truly heavenly. I was lucky enough to find Jessica, and she takes my insurance. My hopes and expectations are so far surpassed! I am seeking treatment for a specific issue, and we are making progress after just a few visits. Thankfully! Part of it will just be taking a little more time. But in addition to that, nothing measures up to the relaxation I feel there. I simply gogo into such a peaceful, restful state. Jessica applies the thin needles and then turns on the music and also places a warm heat lamp over the site being treated. And you rest while it does. It's magic. She's a little hard to book with, because she is that good and once you've gone there, you want to return. I almost would rather not give her a rave review because I don't want her scheduled to be booked even more, but it is right and proper to give them the review, they deserve. They are the best ever. Joanne is rude! Scheduled an appointment just to have her call me back the next business day to cancel my appointment. The appointment was scheduled for later in the day and they told me that since I'm a new patient they wouldn't be able to see me at the time that I originally scheduled it for (even though I was already booked for the time). What is frustrating is that I explained the situation to the person I made the appointment with, he was so understanding just to have someone so rude call me to cancel. Such a disappointment. Definitely have had better customer service. I'll happily take my business elsewhere as should you if you're reading this. read more

Finally no more pain! I took a fall and was in hip and lower back pain for months. I saw Jessica after trying chiropractic and physical therapy and could not believe my pain was totally gone after only two sessions. At the age of 65, I have a history of chronic lower back problems from years of working with children and adults in wheelchairs and also have some arthritic joints. I have been going to see Jessica for several months and this review is well long over due. She is very educated and knows what she is doing. She has been working with me on some post accident and surgery issues. I get relief every time I see her. Sadly there is permanent damage and chronic issues with me but she had helped me reduce the inflammation and pain so much that i do not need to take pain meds nearly as often as I had to before I started seeing her. I have been having neck and back issues since I'm working on the computer all day and had been looking for a great deep tissue massage therapist in Vista but it turns out that Encinitas is just as well. Get your Qi on was recommended to me by a friend so I thought I'd give it a try. I got an appointment pretty quick which was great, since I was really hurting. I just got my first deep tissue massage with Jessica yesterday. After a short consultation about my neck and shoulder condition, she got right to work. I don't know how such a small lady can get such strong hands. She really got in there and worked out a lot of the knots and tender areas. I'm sore today which shows me how much she was able to work it out and get those acids in the muscle moving. My neck and back is feeling so much better today. I had been having so many tight spots in my neck that it was hard to find a comfortable position sleeping... I might try the Acupuncture next since it combines Acupuncture and deep tissue massage in one. Sounds like a win-win to me. Jessica was very courteous and I felt right at home with her. She was very helpful with stretching tips and other supplement suggestions to help prevent my neck to get that strained in the first place. I recommend Jessica to everybody. In 5 years of trying, we had done everything to conceive; hormones, medications, shots, IUI(artificial insemination) everything besides IVF. I wasn't mentally prepared to take it that far so I was looking for other options. A friend/client recommended I try Jessica for fertility acupuncture. I had heard great things about acupuncture but was once told by an OB that "my cycle was my cycle and acupuncture and Chinese herbs could not change that". I wish I wouldn't have waited so long to go against what that Dr told me. I could have saved 4 years. My first appointment was February 4th and I was was able to tell Jessica I was pregnant on April 15th which was my 6th appointment with her. I've been suffering with migraines since I was 9 and also with IBS most recently. I've changed some of my eating habits but was still having problems. I was seen by a Gastroenterologist and Neurologist who put me on a variety of different medications with little to no help. I finally gave in and decided to try acupuncture. For whatever reason I chose Jessica. It was one of the best decisions ever. After my treatments started I have had my IBS and migraines under control and am at the point where I'm getting weaned off of the 4-5 different medications I've been put on for the IBS and migraines. Jessica worked very closely with me and offered different acupuncture treatments, cupping treatments and massage. The first few treatments were rough and I was sore for a few days. After seeing Jessica I began to feel better and notice I was doing much better. I was always hesitant to try acupuncture but I am glad I gave in and saw her. She has so much knowledge of ways to better our lives and control our problems. She shares her tips and ideas and any information she is given and gladly tells me to share with everyone I know.
