I've been meaning to write this review for a while now but a LOT of life has gotten in the way. I found Mandy after giving birth to my first baby when I was struggling with postpartum health issues. I also have a history of lower back issues and sciatica after having been involved in a severe car accident over a decade ago. My family urged me to find a good postpartum massage therapist who could help me in my journey to recovery and to, honestly, just help me relax. From the moment of meeting, Mandy provides such a calming environment. She listens to you and your every concern, and her hands are absolute magic! She really seems to care about you, not only as a client, but as a human being, and it shows in the time that she spends with you. She has put me to sleep a couple times with the amazing massages she has given me, which is an absolute compliment! I had to stop going to her because, as mentioned before, a lot of life has happened, but I hope to return to her again one day soon! read more

Incredible massage therapist. Always on time, always listening, and giving of herself. I saw Mandy weekly during both of my very painful pregnancies. Most of the time my 90 mins with her was the only time I felt any relief from the intense physical pain. She has the most intuitive touch! I've walked in not able to turn my head and she had me head banging my way out of her office. Just kidding. But seriously she healed my neck and I could turn side to side without pain. Every time I have seen her I've left feeling physically and emotionally ten pounds lighter. Mandy has been an absolutely amazing support throughout my second pregnancy. I first saw her for a massage because I was having extreme sciatic pain in my second trimester. She was able to pinpoint it and work it out after a couple massages. Then she moved on to birth/labor support and made me feel comfortable in my own pregnant body and confident enough to have an all natural birth of a beautiful baby boy. I would highly recommend Mandy's services to anyone, whether pregnant or not! I have been going to Mandy over a year now. From prepared to get pregnant to being mom. I only trust Mandy to be my massage therapist. Her calming energy are able help my anxiety, body aches and lack of sleep. During my pregnancy, I was able to relax and prepare my body for natural labor. Found Mandy on yelp. After reading a ton of reviews from other places, but I was drawn to coming here. Not one bad review, and in the pictures. She looked genuine. As funny as that may sound that's the truth. Let me tell you. My gut feeling did not disappoint. I've had. TON of massages. From the questionable ones that make you pay up front to trying the chain one. Loved every second of this. I didn't want it to end. I was so sad when It did. Mandy is some sort of magical unicorn. NO REALLY. This woman is magic. I was referred to her by a couple friends who used her services during their births and they raved about her. I booked her for my birth and while pregnant, saw her a few times. Pregnancy is no walk in the park and it comes with a myriad of aches and pains on the best of days. I happened to have a massage with her already scheduled when I had an intense flare of up sciatica pain, and with one session with Mandy, my pain was gone. Magic. Ok, so though I think she does possess some magic, the truth of the matter is that she knows her stuff and you can tell you're in very capable hands. And can I talk about my birth experience with her for a moment? I was shocked and panicked when I woke up one Saturday morning to my water breaking 6 weeks early. Once it was established that they would not be stopping the leak, but rather inducing labor, I was extra panicked. Mandy put me at ease via phone and text message. Once my induction really started rolling and the discomfort started becoming more than I could bear, Mandy arrived, and I relaxed instantly (and I could tell my husband did too - he was kind of like a deer in headlights before she got there!) In total, my labor was 47 hours, and Mandy was there for close to half of that. Let that sink in. Almost 24 hours. Incredible. I am thoroughly convinced I would have had a c section if it weren't for her. She was able to keep me relaxed enough, and using acupressure, made it possible for things to progress on their own and was there coaching me during pushing to help bring my son into this world. She is really something profoundly special. If I have another child, I will undoubtedly hire her again, and I continue to receive massage from her after the baby as well. read more

What a gift and a treasure! My goodness, Mandy has incredible intuitive touch. I could literally feel her healing my body as she massaged me. I truly appreciated the quiet serenity of her space, as well as her willingness to heal my body according to her instincts and skills. I had requested a Swedish massage, but also commented about some neck issues I had been having. Within the Swedish massage, she also did some skeletal therapy. Mandy is great. I have had one prenatal massage with late in my third trimester and have had a couple of massages post-partum. I plan on seeing her regularly as breastfeeding and a newborn baby causes significant upper back and shoulder pain for me. She's incredibly warm and makes you feel at ease. Mandy was such an amazing support person during the birth of my son. I saw her for a couple of prenatal massages before the birth and she was able to help me through a lot of anxiety. During the birth itself she kept me calm and relaxed enough to avoid needing magnesium to control high blood pressure. She was very supportive in helping me try to go the whole time without drugs, but when I couldn't handle it any longer she helped keep things going by using accupressure. I'm 100% convinced that it was her help (along with my husband's) that kept me from eventually needing a c section. It was a beautiful experience! read more

Mandy was my massage therapist throughout my pregnancy, as well as during the labor and delivery of my daughter. Words cannot adequately describe how amazing of an experience it was having Mandy there for my husband and I both. I had an intense fear of childbirth and was positive I would need an epidural, but after beginning my massage sessions with Mandy (about 5 months into my pregnancy), my fear began to melt away, and I even started to believe I could have our baby without drugs. When the big day came, and after I had been laboring for several hours with my husband, I knew I needed Mandy. We called her at 4 a.m., and she was there within the hour. After a few hours of massage work, we went to the hospital, where Mandy continued to work on me while my husband stayed at my side reassuring me. Six hours later, our beautiful daughter was born (with no epidural needed), and the doctor and the nurses all told us that we had one of the most peaceful and easy deliveries they had ever seen, because we were such a good team. I am forever grateful to Mandy, because I know my experience would have been much more difficult had she not been with us. I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation and I am lucky to call her my friend! read more
