I've been here twice now and love it so much! Such a nice open/airy space. Love that there is a variety of drinks... beer, sours, hard seltzers, cocktails (same with the sister bars seventh son and AOH). The staff is SO friendly here at getaway. The first time I came on a sunny fall day (my birthday actually now that I think back!) and this past time during the winter storm. I've enjoyed everything I've tried here, ranging from their cocktails (they are pre mixed but done well), froses, sour (love the ginkyo the most) and the beer. There is plenty of seating both at the bar and table seating. Can't wait to come in the summer and sit outside. It always feels far for me to get up to Dublin but this brewery and all the other awesome Dublin restaurants make the trip worth it. No food served here but their charcuterie vending machine is so cute. We were headed out to dinner but the vending machine concept is so awesome for when you need a lil snack. read more

I saw this Brewery on Instagram and was really excited to check it out. The atmosphere and decor is so amazing and really unique. The staff was so friendly and everything about this place was special. If you're looking to take a friend to a cute trendy place this is it. It wasn't super packed when i went which was a plus. The staff here is top notch and goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. This was our second time here, and our last Stamp on the Seventh Son passport. I definitely recommend the Frosé if you're looking for a refreshing summery drink. I also love their fresh take on the charcuterie tray by offering individual items in a vending machine. Fun place to grab a beer and meet with friends. There's beers on tap, cans and cocktails. You can grab snacks from a vending machine. There is also a greenhouse room you can request for large private parties. Only thing I didn't like was how loud it can be when the room is full. Echoing kind of sound. The concept of travel and escape is one that will take you back to the early 60s. Perfectly square Chicago style ice as I would call it, but they get rid of all the air in it and the ice is perfectly clear.. Ample garage parking. I'm an out of towner but came with a business friend who is a regular. Learned they will also take care of your parking meter ticket before you leave so you don't have to pay at the machine. Tons of parking in the garage right next to it. Great food options nearby within extremely close walking distance. They will let you bring food with you as well. I cant say enough about how great this place is. I over heard 2 different conversations with customers and how the bartenders handled them in a busy Sat during arnold weekend was amazing. My personal experience with the bartenders during my visit was great as well. The attitude and the time the bartenders took to talk to you was unbelievable. Drinks were great, place was clean! We like Getaway Brewing a lot. It's only about 5-10 mins from us and they have a wide range of drinks from good cocktails, sours, beer, etc. I usually go for one of their IPA's bc why not, that is usually my go to. We stopped in over the weekend and I had the old fashioned style drink (in flight?) and it was super tasty. VERY strong on the verge of too strong but hey, who am I to complain about that? :) My wife likes the sours they have there and the atmosphere is super cool. On Monday's in February they have half off beers and I think even outside of that, they have nice happy hour specials. The decor and the atmosphere here is really cool and I like that they have the bar but also like a side bar setup where you can order drinks and not have to worry about being in between patrons at the bar trying to order a drink. The set-up is great, beer is good, they have great cocktails, and they have a charcuterie vending machine!! Which we have yet to try, but it's pretty cool! Other than that and some light snacks, they do not have food but we brought food in from nearby and there was no problems so I think you can bring food from elsewhere if you'd like. read more
