    Great sliders!
    Robert M.

Let's be honest this is a real nice place. The service is exceptional. The wine selection is amazing and their food is always top notch. If there's a single thing wrong, they take care of it. I got the sliders and they were more than rare and within seconds the plate was swept away and they were remade to perfection. Sometimes it's not about if or when a restaurant screws up, it's about how they go about fixing it.

This was our first visit to this location which seems much larger than Grandview. Its also beautiful on the inside but also has a heated patio where you can enjoy happy hour. We grabbed a couple mixed drinks which were all delicious and well made. We tried so many of the appetizer bites but the sliders were our favorite. Juicy with fantastic flavor. We had a birthday in our group so we also tried the February heart healthy dessert and it was divine. Blake was an amazing server and would absolutely come back again.

My husband and I received a Cameron Mitchell gift card for Christmas and we wanted to use it to celebrate the end of the year by trying a new restaurant. Many people have recommended going to The Avenue, so we decided to give this place a try I have been to multiple steak houses in Cincinnati (Jeff Ruby's multiple locations and Lonely Pine Steakhouse (I am not sure if they are still open) and chains such as Capital Grille and Ruth's Chris, etc). The prices here, for a higher end restaurant, are completely reasonable. Yes they are pricey, but it is rare for a steakhouse to include a side and salad or soup when you order a steak. So personally, I think they are offering you a deal. Since our reservation was last minute, we were placed near a high top table by the bar. The vibes in this area were laid back with people enjoying good food and drinks. The service was fantastic and our server named Blake answered all of our questions enthusiastically, refilled our drinks and checked on us to see how we were doing. The music they played was also fantastic, and fit well with the vibes of the restaurant. Ambiance (fyi peoples attire were dressy casual to business formal) and service were 5 stars. Now for the food. We splurged and stuffed ourselves. I ate way too much but it was worth it. My belly is still full hours later as I write this review LOL. For the appetizer we ordered the crab cake. It was well seasoned, crispy and served over a delicious remoulade sauce with a side of pickled veggies. We love crab cakes and for Ohio this is one of the best ones we tried. Definitely 4 stars and though we enjoyed it, we would want to try another appetizer the next time. They brought out two delicious complimentary rolls with butter (they were delicious). For our main entrees: I ordered an 8 oz filet with French onion soup and Mac and cheese. The filet was outstanding. It was cooked perfectly medium rare with a nice grilled and well-seasoned exterior. Honestly one of the best steaks I have had. It was 5 stars and since The Avenue is a steakhouse, it is the reason why I am giving this place a 5 star review. Absolutely fantastic, and I cannot wait to go back. The French onion soup was very good, also 5 stars. The Mac and cheese was just okay for me. The ratio of cheese to noodle was off. There was way too much cheese and it was a bit too soupy in texture for me. I did appreciate the creaminess, but overall I would not order it again. I'd give it 3.5 stars. My husband ordered Jeff;s corned beef sandwich, which is basically a reuben. It had sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, 1000 island sauce toppings on marble rye. He liked it and said it was a solid sandwich. The sauerkraut was a bit strong, but it was one of the better Reubens he has had. He absolutely loved the shoe string French fries which were well-salted and served at a good temperature. He rated his meal 4.5 stars. For the finale, we ordered chocolate cake. Several reviews mentioned it being dry, but our cake was moist and tasted fresh. It is one of the best chocolate cakes I have had in Columbus and I would definitely order it again. Definitely a 5 star dessert. I cannot wait to come back here for a special occasion and I highly recommend you check out this restaurant! Reservations can be made on Open Table.

Ate enough food to feed an army. Salad-The crab avacado salad w/bib(butter) lettuce and light vinegrette-Appetizer shared-tempura green beans-Main Course 8oz top sirloin medium ( i know med rare is better, but after 40 medium cooked meat digests better, and it was still f'n prfct n deelishus) skipped desert, don't drink, had a large san pelegrino sparkling, their bread/rolls were bomb too! Ambience dark and loud! Always good when an evening out is great dining experience that makes you happier after with the glow, and of course my time with family was the best part of the experience!

We all had such a great time! Our waitress was Daphne, and she was so attentive and kind. The interior is dark and moody and I definitely would have a reservation to go! The food was overall excellent. We started with drinks, I felt my Aperol was nice and sweet. The bread was more on the saltier side with a harder crust. Then we tried the Parmesan Green Beans which were amazing! The green beans were perfectly cooked and the breading was so light and flakey! Our entire table ordered the Steak Special with lobster on top and a béarnaise sauce. I started with the French Onion Soup before, it was good but I did not end up finishing the bowl. The steaks were cooked very well and the lobster was very moist and tender. The parsley potatoes were heavily buttered and salted so I ate about half. We finished with dessert of Banana Bread Pudding and the Cobbler. The bread was warm and had great flavor, very very good. I only tried one bite from the cobbler and from what I had it was very good. Can't wait to come back!

I've been here a couple times and it's always such a fun and classy experience! The food is always amazing and this was my first time trying the veal milanese, it was amazing. I came with two friends and they both got steak and they thought it was amazing! I have had their steak on a different stop in and it's always a 10/10. Out waiter was amazing, he was very funny and was very knowledgeable about the menu and made it a great time for all three of us. This is a great addition to the bridge park area and I would recommend stopping in!

WOW... what an experience... The Avenue is definitely a place worth trying. It was my birthday, so it justified the special occasion dinner. The restaurant was jam-packed and had an exciting buzz - we had a reservation, so we got seated right away (I would strongly recommend having a reservation). The place is very noisy but in an exciting way. Steve, our server was awesome. The service was spot on, and the whole staff was very friendly. The food was very delicious. I had the ribeye with the house salad and the mushrooms as my side while wifie had fish with the house salad and Brussel sprouts. The steak was spot on - cooked correctly and delicious. I really enjoyed the mushrooms and the salad. Wifie absolutely loved the fish. The Brussels sprouts were a great choice for her, and she raved about her salad. The rolls were hot and very tasty. Because it was my birthday they gave me their chocolate cake which I thought was amazing. We parked in the parking structure, and they validated the parking, so we avoided the rain because the elevator let you off at the entrance to the restaurant. It was an awesome birthday...

This is one of my favorite Cameron Mitchell restaurants in Dublin. Every year my mom and I go here for her birthday. She really enjoys the Lobster. The service is top notch.

What a fun lively yet sophisticated establishment! We had a great dinner Friday night here with great service from Colleen. Make a reservation because we still had to wait a little bit with one so chances of getting into with may be slim. I love ordering lobster so the twin lobster tail entree was a no brainer. The asparagus was buttery and well seasoned. The lobsters were tasty but I do with they were a little less dry especially for the cost. Highly recommend their espresso martinis!

Had dinner here last night and had a great dinner with my daughter. We had the escargot toast for an appetizer and it was very good . I had the lobster tails and she had the porterhouse steak . Everything was really good . But pricey . It's a very nice place and we sat in the sun room so we got alittle indoor and outdoor going for you. Matty who was our waiter was great . He has a great personality, funny and attentive. I will ask for him the next time I'm there

Too expensive for the quality. Won't go back. Go to Hyde Park or Jeff Ruby's if you want a really good steak for that price.

Could you wear jeans there? Or is it dressier than that?

There was a bit of a snafu at the beginning, where the fire alarm was going off when we arrived. We had to go back down 8 flights of stairs and come back up for our reservation when we could come back in (which was as soon as we got to the bottom). It was fine for us, but I can see 8 flights being a challenge for a lot of people. Otherwise, the ambiance was lovely and the view was great. My only major gripe was the service. Our server didn't check on us very often, and we had to ask for the dessert menu when we heard last call was coming up. I'm chalking up the service mishap to an odd evening with the fire alarm. Definitely would love to come back and try it again!

I requested to be seated in the middle section & was told the tables needed to be cleared off first. Took 10+ minutes and someone else got seated there before us. Anyways, Arnold Palmer was very bitter. Whatever you have in mind for deviled eggs is not what you will need tasting when you try these. It had an odd smell and tasted under seasoned. Would not order again. The wontons I give a 3/5. Not my favorite. The mushrooms weren't over powering but still interesting. This could have also used more seasoning. Outer layer was crispy. If you don't like sauces, ask for your sauce on the side because they pour it on your wontons for you. The empanadas seasoned well. Stuffed well too. Would order again. Then we ordered the flank steak medium. We received well done and it took more than 15+ minutes for the waitress to come to our table to check on us in order for us to send it back to get medium. Other than that, plantains were cooked well, the rice and beans were good. Presentation was beautiful. The restaurant was not busy at all. There were many empty tables and seats at the bar. Music isn't too loud to have conversations. Considering how much I spent on these meals and drinks, I would not return again.

As soon as I walked in, I noticed all the plants: some were hanging and many were near the windows throughout the whole place. They were real and very healthy. There is a QR code to order at our table but I ordered from the bar because it was not too busy. My bartender was very friendly. She acknowledged me right away, and came to take my order as soon as she could. I ordered the margarita but all the cocktails looked so good. The decor behind the bar was beautiful! It was a long picture of a runway with a plane taking off. There were also airplane windows that were so cute and went with the whole airport theme. I came up later to order shots for our table.
