Excellent work. Careful. Also careful of lawn and plantings. Good work at a reasonable price.

Another one was $20,000 One was $14,000 but I didn't like the guy Finally, we settled on Installers Now, LLC for $13,950 for the complete roof. Extra things come up on the job, like broken gutters and the installation of a bathroom rooftop exhaust fan. Only $800 for the 5 different extras. The boss and owner. Benjamin Mancillas was wonderful to work with!!! On-time and very polite on my exhaustive questions about the job Excellent warranty on their work. They showed up yesterday and did the whole job in one day, and it was beautifully done. Very, very good cleanup!! I mowed the lawn today and did not see, one rooftop piece or roof nail. I am very, very happy with the work!! Thanks everyone for your help, I thought you might find it interesting, the final result. Frank and Sheila 5117 Comanche Way

I had other inquiries regarding related issues and he helped me identify other work that should be done in conjunction with a roof replacement. I had him compete with three other companies nonetheless. He made every effort to win the contract but he wasn't pushy and only replied when I initiated contact first. I felt like I was dealing with a neighbor, not a salesperson. It was a tough decision but his personal touch closed the deal. When the day came to do the work, the crew was onsite right away and went straight to work. They were not disruptive and got the job done in less than one day. They didn't damage my lawn with their equipment and they checked multiple times that they cleaned up properly and didn't miss anything. They are a local company that I highly recommend.

Full Story: We had our house resided 2.5 years ago, and knew we were chose to go with a more expensive company, simply because of the value they "sold" us & how we thought they were the "cream of the crop" in Madison. While there was a long wait (Covid deliveries) when they finally gave us the call, our house was completely stripped down and resided in a matter of days. There were about 15-20 guys working in the dead of winter. (I'm talking double negatives) but they were determined to get it done. The house looked great once they were done (as much as we could see in the winter). I was STOKED. Then things got weird. #1 - We had 2 weeks to submit the final payment, and within a few days we had calls asking about it. We gave them a date, and continually got called. It was weird. We finally gave them a check (within that 14 days) the guy looked relieved. One of the guys tells us the entire company is going through a major "crisis" and people are being fired / let go / whatever. Our sales guy had to leave, our main contractor left. (I'm assuming this was why they were so eager to get a check?) #2 - One of their former workers showed up at our door asking to borrow $20. Mind you, I was super friendly with everyone while they were working - it was super cold, but I made sure they had coffee each morning & snacks. But. really? Showing up to my door asking for money? #3 - A couple of months go by and spring comes, we go out to really inspect and find quite a few issues that aren't ideal, but I was giving a bit of grace as it was cold and they were so fast and it was minor. But then: Spring storm comes and the same piece of our siding comes partially off. We call Ganser. nothing. We call Ganser again. Someone comes out and "fixes it". Summer storm - guess what? Same piece comes partially off - We call Ganser. nothing. month 2 - We call Ganser again. nothing. month 3 - We call Ganser again. nothing month 4 - It's close to thanksgiving We call Ganser again. nothing. month. Holidays pass and still no word. The next spring, I call - they send someone out within a day or two and "fix" it again. I don't need to tell you what happens next - Spring, Summer. repeat. This time the entire piece of siding get ripped off. My husband starts the call - no response - call again cycle. Once they finally decide to call back they send someone out, the one guy fixes it and attempts to leave. I noticed it was short - and called him back before he drove off. The other guy there, moves it a little, and he bolts the piece into the house. Tells us it's totally messed up and will need to be replaced. We call Ganser while the guy is here, and tell them. That was at least 4 months ago.... we were told it'd be fixed "correctly" this next time but they need to order stuff and have someone come out. We've called. We've emailed. We've sent pictures. NO RESPONSE. This is really a last effort attempt to get some sort of reply, before we figure out what other options there are. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. We undertook a large remodel project that included a new roof, windows, siding, and gutters than…read moreran from July-November. This two-star rating does not reflect the quality of work performed by the individual sub-contracted companies, which final product was satisfactory after timely repairs. The low rating is due to a significant lack of communication with Ridge Top, and unfinished work. Sub-contracted crews showed up on-site unannounced or changed their work schedule without notice from Ridge Top. We were informed we did not need to be home on days only outdoor projects would be completed, and yet crews were ringing the doorbell asking for instructions about installation that was not provided to them by Ridge Top (window orientation, down spout locations, etc). This interfered with work-from-home meetings. During siding work, the doorbell circuit was closed by poor nail placement causing it to run continuously. This resulted in both the door bell and transformer to become overheated and melt the bell chime cover inside the house. This was replaced by an electrician in a timely manner. Significant work-site debris was left in the yard, and Ridge Top's project managers shared our alarm at the final walk through. Together, we picked up roofing brackets, pail-full of nails we have collected with our own magnet, trimmed pieces of fascia/soffit/siding, and whole shingles. When we signed with Ridge Top we specifically asked, and were assured, that the new window trim would match the existing size, eliminating the need for additional significant drywall and paint repair. After 2 separate measurement appointments before installation, the finished trim installed on 13 windows was significantly smaller. We raised this concern during installation and at multiple walkthroughs, but it was repeatedly ignored. At the final walkthrough, Ridge Top acknowledged the extensive repairs required to both drywall and painting, and offered to provide compensation if we could get a quote from our own painter. Unfortunately, 2 weeks after the quote was shared with Ridge Top and multiple un-returned phone calls, they reversed this decision citing generic contract terms. This situation would not have been an issue had Ridge Top honored their initial assurance of minimal repairs or addressed the problem promptly. Instead, the lack of transparency and follow-through has resulted in unnecessary additional expenses and frustration.

They not only charged two grand over the price quoted, they filed a lien on the property even though they knew I was in the process of taking out a bank loan to pay for it. This was after they had already received eleven thousand dollars (almost all that was due). Ironically, they're filing of the lien might be the the thing that sinks the loan, as it is a HELOC. Greedy, greedy company. As for the quality of the work, I am pretty sure I didn't get my money's worth. There are items on the invoice that I am certain they didn't do because Jeff, the guy in charge told me they weren't going to do, but he told me he would be billing insurance for anyway. They got it all done within a single day with a bunch of guys who didn't speak English. Their sign will be going in the garbage today.

Well...not completely. My first beef is that they didn't include all hail damaged parts of the house to be repaired. So once we signed the contract, they said that it wasn't included. Plus those pieces were different colors than the new siding we were going with. They did replace one side, after we noticed that their workers weren't careful, because they too thought everything was getting replaced. We still have blue on 3 sides of our house that don't go with the current color scheme. When my wife called the salesman about this, he belittled her and acted like she was wrong and unsettled. Very unprofessional. I still question why we have Hal damaged pieces after trying to replace all hail damaged parts of the house. They weren't very willing to be helpful or take any blame. They left no extra materials, even though the standard is to order extras in case there are problems. So they took materials we paid for. Months later we tried to turn on our air conditioning to find it wasn't working. Here the workers put the power box on upside down and when they couldn't figure it out, just forced it all together and not working. We had to call out another company to see what was wrong and they knew right away that the siding company made a bad mistake. They aren't very service oriented. I know they made as much profit as they could off of us and in the end fought us when we were happy. I've never complained about service work before and they acted like we were just trying to complain. I wouldn't trust this company at all. Go somewhere else. Money is their only objective, not customer satisfaction. Run, run, run away from them.
