Excellent work and design... original driveway was very rectangular but in avoiding our shrubbery they designed lovely curves and now the entry to our home is much more inviting. We had our driveway redone by The Concrete Company in May of 2017. I waited to write the review until the project was completed and we had our new driveway through the end of 2017. Matt Young was absolutely great to work with. Very knowledgeable, friendly and sincere. He went through the process, thoroughly explaining what he would do to replace our driveway from upgrading the foundation to how he would do the stamping. Everything turned out perfectly and we could not be happier with the result. After 9 months the driveway looks as good today as it did the day it was completed. There has been no settling, cracking or fading of the stamping. I would recommend Matt's company to anyone. This spring has been a difficult time for Matt and crew. The rain has caused many unavoidable scheduling problems. Through it all Matt has kept us informed of when our driveway replacement would be done. I even had to change the date for our job when it neared our turn. I also appreciated that the boss (Matt) also worked on the project. They all kept my wife and I informed about their work which we appreciated. In addition, on garbage day with their trucks blocking our drive, they kept an eye out for the pick-up and moved them to the street to be sure they were picked up. I did not use this company's service, however a neighbor did. They began pouring concrete at 6:25am - which is too early. The cement truck woke me and my 16 month old child up. When I confronted them the owner knew they couldn't start before 7am but told me to call the police and have them give him a ticket anyway. That is not a respectable way to present yourself to your customer's neighbors, or to anyone, when you are clearly in the wrong and you know it. That reflects on character. read more

I had a wonderful experience with getting a new driveway from Matt and all of his employees. First of all, we got three bids from concrete companies; and Matt's was the easiest to read and had the most complete description of the work to be done. His price was also competitive! The large amount of rain this summer delayed our driveway project a few weeks, but Matt's project calendar was always kept up to date, and he showed up exactly when promised! When he arrived, he and his crew were nothing but professional and friendly. Matt went out of his way to make sure he understand exactly what we wanted from the project and explained options that would make it even better. My experience with Matt and his crew at the Concrete Company was outstanding. He recently completed a new driveway for us. I find that many contractors I've worked with in the past really lack communication skills - they don't respond to questions/calls, you never know when they're going to show up, etc... This was not the case with Matt. He responded promptly to my request for a bid and was quick to answer many questions I had along the way. He personally stopped by my house several times to meet with me and our carpenter to problem solve an issue with a door threshold. The project itself was tricky, in fact, another concrete company turned it down because they felt they couldn't properly keep water away from the foundation of the house. Matt was open and straight forward with me the whole time, assuring me he'd find a way to make it work. The end result is both aesthetically pleasing and functional - the jewel of the neighborhood! Finally, I needed some help installing some pavers for a small retaining wall on the side of my new driveway and what a landscaping company quoted me was more than I could afford. Matt's crew got it done quickly and for a very reasonable fee. Couldn't be more pleased! read more
