Two of the PT practices were medical factories, processing dozens of people at a time with one-size-fits-all exercises, regardless of the underlying problem. The third PT practice seemed better because it was small, but the "doctor" I saw was a charlatan with and a crook. I was ready to give up on physical therapy, but was persuaded, by my orthopedist and friends, to try again. This time I was recommended to Nova Care, a national firm with an office in friendship heights, and what a difference! This company has the highest ethical and medical standards, with an extremely professional and skilled staff. There are generally two therapists on duty at a time, seeing no more than three or four patients, so that the patient receives close attention at all times. Exercises are focused on the problems presented, and easily changed to reflect the patient's level of tolerance and needs. I can't believe how much better this company is than others in the field. Barri Schnall, my current therapist, is amazing, both in her focus on current problems (spinal stenosis, affecting both shoulder and hip) and interest in other problems that turn out to be related.

Good amount of space; it's always abuzz but I've never felt crowded here. The receptionists have also been very helpful. I've worked with Beth Anne and Kevin. Beth Anne is very thorough and is great to talk to. Kevin is also very nice and is easy going. Both know their stuff and both have helped me a great deal. Heard from someone else that Amy is great too. My favorite part is that they'll fit you with a therapist that will help you with your type of injury. For example once I'm able to swing a golf club again I'll switch to a therapist who'll help me with the mechanics of the golf swing. Looking forward to it!

I was in such bad shape that I couldn't even move without my neck going into spasms. When I was finally able to get to therapy the next day, he was able to "fix" my neck in just one session!! The last time I had a similar flare-up, I went to PT 3 x/ week for 10 weeks before I was able to move pain-free. With Marwan, I was pain-free within 3 days of a single treatment!! My son is a competitive swimmer who has Ehlers Danlos. As a former athlete with EDS, Arona knows exactly how to treat this. My son felt understood for the first time in his life after meeting with Arona. From the exercises, dry needling, massage and extensive education about his condition, everything about his treatment plan has been truly excellent. My son suffered a fractured vertebra this year and once again, Arona was there to explain exactly what he needed to do to fully recover. I had a three level stenosis of my neck (cervical) vertabrae. Before surgery my surgeon recommended PT to assess if therapy would help. Bill provided me with exercises that improved my posture and relieved tensions. It made a big difference in preparing me for surgery. Following surgery my surgeon recommended more therapy. Wow! Bill was wonderful. He is a good listener, tells you what he intends to do to help, works with you during the session and you go home with printed exercise routines. The only reason I write a negative review is that the experience was so disrespectful and…read moreunderhanded I hope others take notice and avoid having the same experience. I will never do business with Cassand and Level Physical Therapy again. I was charge up front; they said they would make the claims to my insurance and reimburse me. Cassand actually talked alot about the process; I was curious why. What ended up happening is she submitted my claims as promised but the insurance company told me she noted that the reimbursement ought to go to Level Physical Therapy instead of me, since I had paid her full price. Essentially Level Physical Therapy was paid twice for each bill I paid full price. When I contacted Cassand about this, she brushed me off. It took 1 year, 12 months, of contacting her and at least 30 hours on the phone with the health insurance to get my reimbursement back. Obviously, Level Physical Therapy did nothing to clarify and correct the situation. Until I dogged her with calls. Too bad people behave in such a underhanded way for money. I will NEVER do business with her or that company again.
