Len Getz is a morally bankrupt physician only interested im making as much money as possible. I started seeing Len Getz in 2019, I could no longer get my ADD meds from my pediatrician and found getz on google. Some context: I was an extremely high functioning electrical engineering student with full scholarships and many passions. All I needed was my ADD meds, but soon hit a rough patch, I was making poor choices, and had gotten depressed and had anxiety. A therapist couldve helped me and I wish Id had one at the time. Upon hearing about my anxiety getz prescribed me prozac. A more practical solution wouldve been to lower one of the two stimulants I was being prescribed as they were as high as a dose as you can get(30mg Adderall, 70mg Vyvanse) BUT by writing me another prescription, getz would make more money. No therapist recommended it to me, no outside factors were even considered. After a month on prozac I felt worse, not like myself. I told getz this and her next prescription was olanzapine, an antipsychotic. Already feeling off, olanzapine put me in a major fog. I couldnt manage my life, I couldnt focus at all, I ended up dropping out of college as I didnt understand what was happening. I trusted the doctor. After a month or so, I was put on yet another mood medication, trintellix. After it made me feel no better, I stopped taking it. By this point 6 months had gone by and I was no longer the high functioning person I used to be. I ended up searching through different meds, and getz would give them to me no matter what. I had also started transitioning and getz claimed to know how to prescribe hormone replacement therapy. I trusted her with that until TWO years went by and I realized she had me on 1/2 of the STARTING doses the entire time. She didnt even bother, to check the doses, it was just another dollar sign to her. My endocrine system was running on nothing. After 6 months Id quit the modd meds shed given me and spent an entire month recovering, and I began to feel better. My transition heightened my anxiety though and I was still in the headspace medications were the solution. So I asked for a xanax prescription. She told me "I normally would say no, but I feel with the relationship we have I can give it to you." Along with this she gave me propanolol, also for anxiety. Both of these medications affect your memory, a completely irresponsible prescription yet again. She was aware of my addiction issues at the time as well. I found myself taking the entire xanax bottle within a week, repeatedly. Not that I remember much other than putting cigarettes out on myself. After this happened a few times, I told her it was no good for me. And to never prescribe it to me again, and as an addict, Im going to try and get it prescribed again. Dont give it to me. Well about three months later she prescribed it to me again after I sent a text asking for it. Along with trintellix, which I would go on and off of at will. Id gotten so much worse over that year and a half and Im not even close to being done. December 2020 I checked myself into a psych ward. They lowered my stimulant dosage, as shouldve been done. I had to move back home with my parents as I couldnt hold a job anymore. In march of that year getz prescribed me xanax for a third time despite multiple attempts to explain im an addict dont give it to me. It didnt last long though. That summer, getz allowed me to start taking the maximum dose of stimulants again. I stayed up for five days straight until I passed out and woke up with no idea who i was. I slept for 2 months and asked getz for a mood stabilizer. Getz didnt care that I wasnt a doctor, she just collected the money from the prescriptions. Mood stabilizer, surprisingly, didnt help. Id gotten a job and lost it within a month or two. I was so far removed from who I was when I started seeing getz Id almost given up. February 2021: I realize getz has been prescribing me half the starting dose of hrt for two years and finally dropped her. I started seeing a new psych. read more

I have been going to Getz Internal for years. I had questions regarding a prescription so called to ask questions in order to get the correct one filled. A frusterated Len Getz got on the phone and said "you need to get your sh*t and find another doctor". Then you canceled my CONSULTATION via TEXT message at 9:11pm last night, stating "I have too many controlled substances from too many providers." I no longer see a myriad of doctors, from CANCER TREATMENT, if that's what you are referring to. A simple phone call would've cleared that up. Len is one of those people that you feel like you've known for twenty years the moment you meet her. She has a great bedside manor and truly cares about the health and well-being of her patients.
