A scheduled appointment at 1:30 dropped my truck off on the dot- They had me sit and wait for an hour and forty five minutes before I asked if it was ready when they had just pulled it in for service. Traditionally a 60-90 minutes service when I have brought it prior. When I asked to take it and leave due to the wait time they declined saying it was ok the lift already. They have zero respect for others' time and a lack of communication skills. I did not get my keys back in my hand until 4:15. Nothing was done or said to try to make the situation better. read more

We had a good experience with sales, but terrible experience with service. We made an appointment for an intermittent code alarming on our dash for a vehicle we bought from them less than 2 months prior. The service department had our vehicle for 9 days and did nothing to diagnose the problem and gave it back to us saying to come back if the code continued but they didn't know what it was. Needless to say we did not come back and another ford shop diagnosed the problem, ordered parts, and fixed it within a week. The service department at Geweke was also very hard to get ahold of and get an accurate update. They advised us to use their text line, but we would never receive responses, and would have to leave several messages before getting calls back. We will be taking our business for all things car related elsewhere in the future. read more

I am very surprised at the direction Geweke Ford is going. My sister has been purchasing vehicles from them when they were located in Lodi, CA. She spoke highly of the Geweke family and the quality of their customer service as well as their service department, which in turn enticed me into purchasing my last 3 cars from them. Having said that, I am sad that Mr, Geweke does not care anymore about keeping his longtime customers or his NEW customers for that matter. Back in June, my sister bought a Ford Maverick truck from Ernesto Perez, someone that we have been dealing with for a very long time. She always purchases the extended warranty, and a maintenance "warranty". This time she also purchased the ceramic coating as the truck did not come with it already done. Mr. Perez said he would get in touch with us when he had made the appointment to have the ceramic coating applied. We also found out that it cost $80 dollars to purchase the owner's manual as they no longer provide it, since you can download it on line. My sister is 82 years old, and does not use a computer, so she purchased it. We were told that she would have to make the trip from Sacramento to Yuba City to pick it up from the service department. We were notified that the manual was in and we could pick it up any time. We waited to hear back from Mr. Perez regarding the appointment for the ceramic coating. We never did. I sent him numerous text messages, with no reply. I left him voice mails, no return call. One month, then two months, still no follow up from Mr. Perez. I texted him letting him know that my sister decided not to go with the ceramic coating and she would like a refund on the money she paid for that service and if possible, can we have the owner's manual sent via USPS and we would be happy to pay for the postage, just let us know what the amount would be. September, October and November go by. No word. Six months has now gone by. By this time my sister became ill and I sent another text asking Mr. Perez where the refund was and that my sister was ill and again requested that he mail the owner's manual and again letting him know we will pay for the postage. STILL NO RESPONSE! It is now February 3, 2026, eight months have gone by and I am saddened at how disrespectful this dealership is towards their customers. I will be seeking an attorney with regards to all of this and maybe then we will get the refund and the manual. Mr. Geweke, you should be ashamed. I will never be a customer at this Ford Dealership again! I received the worst customer service of my life from Ryan. When I tried to talk to him, he was rolling his eyes at me and completely disrespectful. He absolutely refused to help me in any way. My 2018 Ford Escape needed an engine replacement and they quoted me over $7000. Luckily I was able to talk to Corporate and negotiated down to $1000 with a 3 year warranty. It took 2 months, but I finally have the car back in my driveway. After the 3 years, I will probably buy a car that isn't Ford. It has been a nightmare experience and I'm sharing in hopes that it helps someone else. There is ongoing lawsuit for the Ecoboost 1.5 liter engine from all 2015-2019 makes. Very disappointed with this dealership. Ryan the service advisor was rude on arrival. I had brought my truck in for a leak inspection. They had told me I had a coolant leak. When I called a week later to get the information on what part was leaking so I could replace it myself. They told me I needed to make another appointment and PAY again for diag and pressure testing. Which I had just already paid for. Never mentioned in the inspection notes what part was leaking. Just stated coolant leak. Do not recommend this place. Also had told them I had an oil leak which they say they could not find but it remains leaking in my driveway... As a former dealership employee this is no way to treat customers. read more

First I want to start with the good. I bought an explorer from Geweke a few weeks ago. My salesman Christian was amazing. He was so helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. He made the car buying experience comfortable and enjoyable and I'm so glad I got to have Christian as my salesman. Also Julio is very nice and helpful. Now for the bad. First of all, I was told they could sell my car to me for about $600 less than the asking price. The next day when I came back to buy the car Alex told me they could not do the price anymore and he doesn't know why Arturo told me they could. Ok $600 isn't the hugest deal when buying a car so whatever. I was annoyed but it's fine. Then I leave the lot and get my car home and notice that the exhaust is loose. Because the exhaust is loose it has melted my plastic fender. When I brought my car back to the dealership to get this fixed less than a week later I was given so much grief about it. No one knew if they would cover it so I had to threaten to return the car if they weren't going to fix it. Ok so then they fixed that. I get it home and place my cup in the cupholder and notice the whole cupholder is broken and falling through. So this would make issue #2. Meanwhile since I picked my car up from the exhaust fixing I notice a weird flapping noise outside. Kind of like loud wind. I do some research and find out they loosened or broke the felt liner when replacing the exhaust. I take it in to get my plastic fender fixed after the exhaust melted it and the cupholder fixed and ask them to look at the liner. At this point I'm sure they're annoyed with me so I was honestly going to just pay to have the liner replaced. However I just picked up my car and the liner was never even looked at. I've owned this car for 3 weeks and it will have needed to go into the shop 4x now. It is so disappointing that Geweke claims they do 170 point inspections on their vehicles yet their cars are falling apart. The worst part is instead of owning these things and fixing them they give the owner grief about it and act like they aren't going to pay to fix it. I have to complain and find managers for everything and i absolutely hate it. I love to support local businesses but I would never recommend buying a car from these shady people again. They don't pride themselves on quality. I understand things happen and who knows what these cars have been through but it is sickening that they are fine letting their loyal customers go through this. read more

After Vincent told us it would be about four hours, Tina took over our care and got us out in an hour and a half. She's amazing and the only reason I would go back here. Incredibly rude and unprofessional business practices. I was in hoping to make a deal which involved a trade in. My vehicle was driven and tampered with without my consent or supervision. After their "appraisal process" my CarPlay system no longer works, everything was reset and they are denying any accountability even though they admitted to driving the vehicle. I have bought cars from multiple dealers in the past and was always asked consent before my car was ever touched by an employee. The salesmen also demanded that I give my social before any type of deal or number was ever discussed, you should all be hesitant to hand over sensitive information to this place. Came in for an early appointment and was greeted with some nice morning attitude. First time there for service and was made to feel dumb for walking into the wrong office. After my truck sat for over 30 minutes past my appointment the oil change was rather quick. Left and assumed all was well. Today I decided to top off my windshield wiper fluid and to my surprise I find that the tech who worked on my truck never even replaced the radiator cap. Instead they placed and left it on the bonnet which is now warped and damaged from Fords negligence. I will be heading into the office but wanted to share this experience for any who are considering having their vehicle serviced here. With an appointment time at 9:30am my oil change and break flush took over 5 hours to complete. Being out of town I spent my entire day in the waiting room without being checked on until 5 hours into waiting. After receiving my truck which received a car wash I didn't agree nor was I asked about, I discovered the following day that my radio antena was not on the roof of the car BUT IN MY PASSENGER SEAT. This was not at all mentioned! This is completely unacceptable and irresponsible of the dealership I am beyond upset with my experience at Geweke Ford. read more

Honor appointment times. Completely disappointed with the lack of respect and dismissive attitude from the "service advisor." I brought my car in before 9:00am for a 9:30am service. They finally took the car back at 12:12pm. When I asked about the long wait, he said, "We forgot to assign it. It won't take long." This is three hours later!! I asked to speak to service manager. After a 12-minute, the advisor informs me that, "He is on lunch." I missed two other personal appointments, because of this disregard and lack of honoring appointment times. This is the absolute worst dealership I have ever encountered in my life. My sister took her car to this dealership have it looked at for multiple recalls. They kept going back and forth with her wanting to buy the car from her. Initially they told her all the repairs and the preliminary diagnostic test would be free. Then with every phone call the verdict and situation changed. So did the bill for repair. They stated we are unable to do the factory recall repair for free because we are a independently private owned dealership and we can chose what we want to repair. Finally after them having her vehicle for multiple weeks she paid the large service fee to get her car back. The service representative called and stated "Ma'am your vehicle is running like it is brand new. I guarantee you this vehicle won't have any issues". She told the representative she wanted to make sure before paying and taking the car home. "I guarantee there will be no other issues with your vehicle". Less than 24 hours after paying the bill a check engine light came on. We then took the vehicle back and they didn't even give her a rental car or estimate of time for repair or diagnosis. I called 22 times requesting for a service manager to call me I got nothing. I then called back and spoke to another manager who told me he could only help if they were able to buy the car and put her in another. They then told her they wouldn't fix the car's issue and it would be another 200 to diagnose the code. They then called back 45 minutes later saying it would be 1000 dollars to repair. We took the car. The next day it ran worse than when it was initially took in for service. This happened last Tuesday. 8/11/20 Today 8/17/20 the car blew up and almost caught on fire. She has a 8 month old baby and this could of resulted in a very terrible outcome. This dealership has still not attempted to guarantee their work. I myself own a brand new ford truck and as a ford owner I find this kind of customer service appalling and down right disgusting. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. read more

Let me start off that this is a Ford problem . Me and my wife were on vacation in another state. We have a 2014 Ford focus upon arrival to are destination we had transmission issues. We stopped by the local dealer and had them look at our car to tell us what the problem was. We were 600 miles away from home. The dealer, even though it was Saturday, put our car on the computer and told us what the issues were and assured us that it was under extended warranty provided by Ford because of their faulty transmission. It has multiple class, action lawsuits, and buybacks. We had also got a letter in the mail stating that there was an extended warranty. We had lost reverse gear and forward was questionable. It was a momentary loss after about a half hour the car seemed to correct itself and our check engine light was off at that point. This happened two more times where gears went out and the check engine light came on. We were able to park it and it corrected itself three different times. We were able to get the car back to California and immediately turned it over to our local dealer, Larry Geweke ford of Yuba City . So the local dealer here at home tells us there is no extended warranty even if we have that letter from Ford stating what they cover because we couldn't get it to duplicate the issues we were having, even though it's a known issue. It's electrical. It's random and Its intermittent. That is also what it states in the letter that we received from Ford. Now we're stuck with a car that is worth absolutely nothing! It's is paid off runs great but it will not drive safely enough to put my family in it . It took 9 days to tell me they could be no help at all including a recall that should have automatically been taken care of plus charged me 290 dollars thanks Larry Geweke and Ford Motor Company never will I buy a Ford of any kind again . I have a Ford Edge that has been nothing but problems. I had the replace the shift cable a few locks a bunch of sensors and the motor got coolant in the motor and died which I am told is a common thing with the Edges. I replaced my motor and have had nothing but issues since I took it to the dealership, and they wanted to charge me $300 since they determine there was an issue, but it wasn't covered by the warranty. The issue was loose engine mounts which I argued and got the $300 dropped. I have had many issues since and them not test driving my car it will never be fixed. The Ford Store in Yuba City is awful, and they will not fix my car even though they put the new motor in. At this point I really do not want to do business with Ford if they don't make this right. I just spent $8000 on a motor and my car is almost undrivable. read more

My F150 needs a new timing chain. On paper it made economic sense to go to my Ford dealer for repairs on my F150 truck. I had estimates from two other mechanic shops. The labor charges at Ford and the other two places were all in the same ballpark. But I decided to go to Ford because I knew I would be getting original Ford parts. My cost comparisons began to fall apart immediately at the Ford service counter. I was told there was a charge of $255 dollars for a preliminary estimate. The charge was NOT applicable towards the repair. I didn't count on that, but okay. Two days later I was told they found indications of a timing issue. I said, "I know, that's why I brought the truck in". Furthermore, that they would need to go into the engine for further diagnosis. That it would cost me an additional $1,200 for this diagnosis. Only SOME of this cost would be applicable towards the repair. STOP. I'm going to get off this train right here. I will pay you $255 dollars for the mechanic's time but that's all. read more

I went in for another car and got treated like family! I ended up buying a NEW! F-150 and I'm very happy with it! It was awesome! Wish the tech guy had a chance to make an appointment for my wife but... he was busy. That was the only bad thing is they only have one tech guy to show me all the features of my new truck. I was even able to get leather AND running boards added to the deal!!!! It was great! I wish I had given my review a year ago when I bought my car but... I didn't. Now here it is, it was the best dealership I had EVER gone to. They didn't pressure me at all! I just wanted to see if I could get one of the cars they had on the lot and they were able to make it happen! When that was all said and done the finance manager called me the next day and got me a better rate!!! Horrible customer service. Bought a f450 that when dropped off the fifth wheel inserts and electrical in the bed have been removed. They ordered the parts and scheduled me for install and when I get there they don't have the parts and then find out the fifth wheel inserts were never ordered. I then get told nobody wants to speak with me and that if I want the fifth wheel inserts I need to come back to Yuba city or I can get it done myself. I love an hour away. So I drive an hour for my appt to just turn around and get treated very poorly. I would not recommend this dealership. read more

I went to the dealership for my 40k mi tune up bc I mistakenly thought that I had one last extended service package visit left. Alas...I did not. I had an issue with a cracked tail light. I had called a few days prior to let them know I'd need to have it replaced, and that it was filling up w water in the rain so it was kind of urgent. Arrived. They didn't order any of the required parts, could I come back again for a second visit once they ordered everything? Ok, fine, FFS. Did I want them to wash my truck even though it would be pretty late by the time it was done? Well, obviously. So after the tune up and the wash, the truck is returned to me with the tail light smashed up and the bulb busted. "It happened in the car wash. What can anyone do? Are you mad?" To which I replied, "Not yet...Not if assuming you're going to replace that bulb, so that you're not cutting me loose to go get pulled over for a broken taillight." "OH...OH YEAH. I THINK WE CAN DO THAT." Did that. Ok, so its all well and good. Not ideal situation but good outcome. Shittiness level is still much preferable to our experiences with Audi, Toyota, and Subaru dealerships we've had to frequent for our other vehicles, and much, much better than the Ford dealership in Auburn, CA. read more

Jerry Garcia was such a delightful sales person . Jerry was super respectful, I highly recommend working with him. We were offered a new truck at MSRP sticker price . It's tough to get trucks so now so we were pleased to only pay sticker price . The reason it's only three starts is because we were quoted 1000 trade in value on an old truck . The next day the general Manager Jeff Ragger tried to drop that 1000 to 500. I came in hot and demanded the 1000. Jeff Ragger almost lost his staff the sell of a new truck . So sad to see such a bad leadership . The finance guy Ernesto Perez was great too . We really liked everyone other then Jess Ragger. read more

My car kept dying and my husband decided to take it to geweke about 6 hrs later we get a call that my car is fixed, battery changed and a few things replaced we come onto the lot and at this point geweke is closing. HERES WERE THINGS GET BAD. My car would not start. We asked the staff for help getting off their lot or even a jump and the staff said no because they just closed, mind you there were people still there and we were able to use the bathroom. They left us there after a HEFTY 400 plus dollar bill, stranded. No one cared, no one even blinked an eye. It felt like i was a child and nothing i said had an impact or importance on the staff, i did my best to remain calm. We had to come back to geweke with jumpers. We took the car to les schwab the next day and whatever issue it had was fixed that day! read more
