First off I told you it was a burnt out bulb and you said you were replacing it. When I come back you said you did the diagnostic and found it it was a burnt bulb, which I already knew. So you lied about changing the bulb and only did a diagnostic. Secondly you didn't say $900 for the bulb. Your guys said it was not possible to replace a bulb, I had to replace the whole instrument cluster for $900. Lied again because I took it to commercial speedometer and they diagnosed and fixed the problem for leas than you diagnostic fee. This is a bad business just out to get you money. Typically my husband does the majority of our auto repairs, so I'm always a bit leery going to a shop where we might be taken advantage of. After checking around I decided on GM Specialists. I brought our new-to-us Suburban in to have a front end leak checked. They found a loose cap and cleaned up the mess. I was charged an inspection fee of about $45 and was told to come back in two weeks to see if they leak returned. I brought it back in and after inspection was told the underside was clean. I wasn't charged for the second inspection. They could have easily taken advantage and they didn't. Corey in the office is friendly and professional. Brought truck into the shop, he was very attentive as to what the situation was, took notes of everything and let me know I'm in good hands. 3 working days later got my truck back with 0 issues, ended up paying more than i was planning to or liked (came down to price of new parts not them price gouging) but still walked away happy with great customer service, and am glad I gave them the business. I needed an alignment, didn't know exactly who'd be a good place to go to for it, so I googled it. This place came up, was close to my home, so I went to check them out first. My first impression was how spotless the lobby is when you walk in and then also the area where your car is serviced, too. Coffee, a donut, water cooler, comfortable seating and TV...even a cute driver video game to play is there while you wait for work to be done. I didn't know if a 2 wheel or 4 wheel alignment was going to be needed for my car, and I was pleasantly suprised it's the same for both...some places advertised more for the 4 wheel alignment! The guys inside are super nice,too... one went right out and checked for me if the alignment area was open... my car could go in right then, ready in 45 mins or so. After sustaining a leak from my sun roof, I was hesitant to take my 2005 Saturn Ion into a shop as I assumed the technicians would charge me more than the car was worth to do an inspection and resolve the issue. Two separate stereo/tinting companies in Yuba City vowed for GM Specialists integrity and they followed through on that.
