A couple years ago Ford convinced me to purchase a car that they knew I did not want. Recently it's been feeling like it's backfiring when I accelerate- No big deal. I take it to ford and they keep my car for weeks- no phone call- nothing. Turns out nothing was wrong with it "they just forgot to call". They didn't offer a rental or anything. Sitting here at the service entrance waiting to pick up my car and nobody can find it and cannot find my keys. Just left the service department after paying $90+ for an oil change. My actual problem is that the tires were NOT rotated which is supposed to be included. I am absolutely positive that this was not done because two front rims have blemishes from a car wash. I have to question what else they're skipping... Oh, and they tried to sell me 2 tires, so now I'm wondering if this is a result of them skipping tire rotations...this is the 1st time I have actually checked. Took my fusion in for the passenger air bag recall..... I'm guessing they fixed the problem but soon after that my radio and dash light weren't working at all, Found the problem Geweke, thanks to another ford dealership and you tube, simple harness lock not latched properly, also the panel that is off, also is Broken and is the replacement Geweke got after they broke the other one, cheap parts I guess. after purchasing most my cars at Geweke, my first one I purchased from Lodi when they had the dealerships there, to my other vehicles that i purchased in Yuba City, sorry sales I know it's not your fault. But this isn't the first time I'm upset with service. And yes after calling about it they said "well we got to make an appointment " well I wasn't going to wait long, for them to fix the problem, i felt it was either dangerous or whatever... so I went and took care of it, except for the panel it's to hard to put back on. read more

This is a follow up to a bad review I gave about a year ago. I took my 2015 Ford Edge in because my emergency brake light was stuck on. Geweke told me to have it towed in because it would be safe to drive, so I did. This is a 2015 Ford, with low miles. They replaced my rear calipers and some other unnecessary parts to the tune of $1500. A week later the light came back on. I was told it was the front calipers now and would cost another $1500. I never took it back to them because I was sure they didn't know what they were doing. I parked the vehicle for a few months because of the problem. My son decided to look at the brakes for kicks and noticed that the front brake lines were squirting out brake fluid. THAT WAS THE PROBLEM!!!! It was no wonder I had to keep adding brake fluid. Low and behold, Ford sent me a notice for my vehicle for a RECALL ON THE BRAKE LINES. This time I took my vehicle into Gridley Ford and they fixed it. It didn't need new calipers as Geweke said. Geweke has a bunch of incompetent people working and running that place. They should be sending me a refund for everything, but that will never happen. The service manager Scott is a joke. He took down all of my information ON A STICKY NOTE and it got lost. Please go to Gridley Ford for all of your maintenance. It is scary that Geweke let me leave with leaking brake lines!!!!! I'm in a time pinch with a guy coming to buy my truck from Tennessee and a check engine light pops up and had to do with my DEF heater... He was already slammed in his shop and had no time to get me in... He changed his whole schedule around just to help me get my truck back in order... I HAD been a loyal customer for over 10 plus years but I or my family will never step foot on that property again... brought my truck in for a simple oil change .. I let the young man know when dropping my truck off that the heater wasn't getting hot really quick it was taking time.. so he said ok I'll have them look into and here's where all the fun starts .. I get a call a few hours later stating they think they found the problem it was radiator hoses leaking and some other stuff and it was gonna cost $1100 plus to fix I was like ummmmm what cause if there was a leak I would of seen coolant or a pool of some liquid which I haven't seen ever but okay I said hold off just give me a print out of the stuff you said it needed and I'll take care of it later but I was just gonna take it for a second opinion .. so the customer service rep said ooh ok but them she calls back about a 1/2 he a later and asks me randomly.. has your truck never not started ??? I'm like ummmm no it's always started ... she's like well that's weird the tech can't get it started and we can't release the truck back to you until we find and fix the problem so I was like well you're paying for it right ... she says well we'll pay for the finding the problem ... I was so confused it's never done that but magically happened the one day it's at the shop ... must of being a geweke miracle for their bank account ... at this point I'm post and just hung up .. she calls back and says good news we found the problem but it's $1200 to fix .. UPDATE.... Today as I was driving on my way to get an oil change at Geweke Ford in Yuba City, I received a text from Patrick of Geweke Ford. Apparently 15 min before my service appointment, he decided to cancel it and tell me that in a text "please don't come in today or ever again, your business is not welcome here." Please note that I live 45 min from the dealership. My appointment was at 7:30am. I received the text at 7:11am. I was already in town when I received the text. There was no consideration at all from me having to drive 45 mins to get a service done. What am I pose to do? Turn back around and drive another 45mins back home and still have not gotten an oil change done? Patrick reason for me not being welcome there ever again was the fact I have left a bad review before. I did not lie. Those review I have left was true. I even express my concern with the service department and only once did they show any concern to the problem. I have spend over $2,000 in the service department not to mention. I even brought a car there. It was right for me to post my review as I felt how the service went. I guess I should of took a hint the first time when I had a difficulty buying my fiesta from them. I totally understand that my business is not wanted there. That's okay, I'll take my 4 vehicles to be service elsewhere. I just do not understand why they had to text me 15 min before my service appointment to tell me I was not welcome? I had book the appointment a week in advance, I have even received an email and text confirmation about the appointment. Second attempt at buying a vehicle from Geweke and second time not buying a car from Geweke, in the end I realize they do not care about the customer they care about the bottom line period. The first time I took my business to Roseville and low and behold they had the car I wanted for less money and were able to give me the trade in value of my car and I walked away satisfied, this time I wanted to try and buy an f150 and again they cannot come up with a deal that makes the buyer happy and again I go somewhere else and I'm able to get the deal I want and can afford. DON'T EVER BRING YOUR CAR HERE FOR A SIMPLE OIL CHANGE IF YOU PLAN ON WAITING WHILE THEY PERFORM THE SERVICE. When I called to schedule the appointment (they don't have an express service like Dodge), I was given a choice of 12:30 or 2:30 a couple days out. I specifically asked how long it would be if I waited for my car (they said one hour). Then I asked if I should take the 2:30 instead of the 12:30 because of lunch. I was told there would not be a problem as they had staff available through the lunch hour. I arrive on time at 12:30 today and I am immediately told it would be an hour and a half because of lunch. But I was already here so I agree to wait. At an hour and a half, I see my car parked on the drive so I go to the counter. They haven't even started the work yet. Sadly, I also had to remind them to reset the car indicator for when the next oil change was needed as it was not reset from the last service. Sadly this is the only ford dealership here. Now as I sit here still waiting for my car I have to wonder what type of job they will actually do as they are "rushing it." read more

Great job by the team in service! I've never worked with Vince in the service department, he did a fine job getting my car in the same day I called. Got the towing number and 15 minutes later they picked up my car. Diagnosis was quick, Vince called and told me it was what I had suspected and gave me a ballpark price. I did check into pricing for the electronic power steering rack and their price was about where I expected it to be. I signed the estimate the next morning, on a Friday, and was contacted at least once every day the car was in the shop. Work was completed in a timely manner, service was completed by the end of the day Monday, and pickup was uneventful. I bought a brand new 2022 Ford 250 Lariat, the sales person was great. The minute you leave the lot, do not expect to receive the same good service. I needed a few questions answered and no one would get back to, and it took 2 weeks for someone to answer my email. I was treated terribly by the finance/receivables department. I wanted to cancel my maintenance warranty and it has taken over 3 months to get anywhere and I still have not received a refund. We keep giving Geweke another chance like the service is going to get better. Scheduled oil change appointments for both vehicles over a month ago for today. My husband made sure to have the day off so we could run the cars back and forth. Over 4 hours for my husbands car and they said they didn't have filters for my car and had to order some, so they couldn't do my oil change today. This is not the first unorganized/lack of communication experience we have had here. We have paid extra for the service warranties to cover our oil changes and service, but are ready to pay extra to go somewhere else. If you want your service done and a load of frustration to go along with it, take your car here. If you don't want the extra frustration, go elsewhere! read more

Hands down worst service department! If I could give this place zero stars I would. This ford lacks customer service, none of the people have time for you. The service department try's to screw you out of a warranty so they can switch the ticket to customer pay. Their quick to send you to another dealership because they aren't confident enough in completing something. I own nothing but fords and the quality of service I just received from a so called "Ford Dealership" makes me regret saying I'm a ford owner. I will never recommend or take my business to this dealership again. These people just want to rip you off. We had my husband's Ford truck towed there. First they didn't even call us to let us know it go there as they said, they would. Later that day we get a call the damage is $4,500. Ok, we let that sink in. Then the next day it went up to $12,000. SHOCKED! We just moved into our new house. It was our 1st Anniversary We were told metal shavings were in the fuel pump and we needed to gut the whole thing. We drove out to Diesel Performance and was told it wasn't even so. No metal shavings found at ALL!! All that needed to be done was to replace the cheap fuel pump FORD puts in their vehicles. Shame on your service department. FRAUD if you ask me. We purchased a Ford Certified F150 Lariat edition in October of 2018. We purchased every warranty and extended warranty they offered us. Fast forward 4 months here we are with a truck that leaks from the A-pillar during the rain. After dealing with service representative John we were very turned off by his negativity towards customers and asked "what other complaints do you have?" Not a simple is there anything else I can help you with, but "what other complaints do you have." After speaking with service manager Scott, we were given a Ford Focus, which was no where near comparable to what we purchased. Ford told us we could rent a truck from Uhaul and they would reimburse us, but again, why should we have to come out of pocket to rent a bottom of the line truck. My wife uses the truck daily for her business with furniture and cannot move anything she needed to in a car. The following day, I called just before five to get an update as we hadn't heard a word and were told all of the service techs and managers had gone home for the day. I spoke with GM Brett who was able to get me an update, but two days after taking it in, we learned they couldn't find the leak. Scott said they ran more checks and were unable to find the leak. Scott said he would speak with Ford and they would get back to him about how to better assist our issue. Yesterday, now 10 days after taking it in, Scott called and said he was still awaiting a response and if they couldn't fix it we "would have all the paperwork needed to proceed down any process we needed to take." I am not sure what that means but would assume he was speaking of the lemon law. Today, Scott called and told us that he had done everything he could and that " sometimes things like this will happen in heavy rain." I told him that was not an acceptable answer. He said he wanted to fix it for me but couldn't find a problem. I told him it was obviously a problem as the vehicle was leaking from the grab handle on the A-pillar and I wanted it fixed. He said "what is wrong with it?" And I repeated the issue told him. Then he asked me how to fix it. I told him I hadn't taken it apart, and that was why we took it to them and purchased their warranty. Scott proceeded to tell me there was nothing else he could do for me and gave me a 1-800 number to Ford to "complain to them." I attempted to call the number several times to learn there was an issue with their phone system which wouldn't allow me to speak with everyone. I called another dealership and had a completely different attitude and knowledge of the problem and they were more than eager to assist us with the issue. The service manager I spoke to reviewed the Vehicle Identification Number and told me there was nothing in the system with Ford to indicate there was ever a problem. What a crock from Geweke Ford! I will never be returning, nor will I ever be recommending them to anyone else despite a wonderful experience purchasing it from Charli. The dealership does not stand behind their product and did nothing to try to fix anything regarding the truck. The other complaints filed were warped rotors (remember we bought it used) which after they machined them grab worse than before. A nail in the tire causing a slow leak which was our fault and agreed to pay for. And the windshield wiper they had installed on the previous service were grabbing on one side but not the other, was never addressed. Please do yourself a favor and don't patron this establishment. This was the worst possible experience imaginable - they lie and are incompetent. 5 weeks ago, my husband went in person to custom build a truck. We went through the process, signed, and left a deposit. Then, we heard nothing. I texted and was told the truck was ordered. Then, I heard nothing again. I called and asked to talk to a manager who called me back and again confirmed that the truck was ordered. The sales person even called a couple days later to apologize for the lack of communication. He assured me it was ordered and they were just waiting on an expected build date to reach out. Fast forward a few more weeks and I get a text that they need me to sign and return papers (which I did in office when we were there). I review docs and the cost has gone up $250. Not a big deal, but I was curious why. Isent my original copy and the comparison to their new doc. He couldn't give me an answer about the increase other than "it might be...". Several emails and phone calls later, I ask the manager to call me. He calls and I am told the price went up the day after my order was placed and I have to sign the increased price. At this point, I ask if my truck was ever ordered like they said it was and am told no. The issue honestly isn't the $250, but the less and wasting of time (if they called me immediately and explained it would've been an easy revision). I asked if they would waive the $250 and they refused to even waive the $250 for the 5 week delay and inconvenience. (Mind you, this is a $74k truck). They said several customers are having the same problem and there's nothing they can do to help and I can go somewhere else if I want. So I picked up my deposit check and paperwork. I called Auburn Ford and shared my situation. They were able to take the order and complete it over the phone. I even received an email from Ford that the order was processed. - 3 horrible customer service. I took my car in to have a lock recall done. I get my car back. Notice my mirrors are not positioed right. So I try and move the mirrors to the right position. And the electrical adjuster on my door doesn't work. So I Google it to see if I could fix it in the mean time I notice my cigarrette chargers don't work, and my window stops halfway up. So I do everything to try and fix my car in the meantime I have called this company 3 times and left 3 voice mails. (Meantime the car salesman have called and text me to trade my car in) So I googled the mirror part. I pulled it out like it says, to plug it in to the wiring connected to the inside of the mirror, it is stuck/kinked in the door paneling. So I call the car dealership, I let them know what's going on. They asked me to bring my car in. I get an email stating everything that's wrong with my car practically my conversation. I Come into the dealership. I asked if I was gonna be charged for it. He says yes, which I'm assuming he sees the whole conversation and then it happened when I brought it in for warranty. So then I go to hand him the keys and he snatches them from my hand. I told him he didn't have to get attitude with me, and then he started arguing with me! My cars a/c was blowing cool air but not cold so I made appt to have it serviced. I was there about 7am and appt was for 7:30am. I called around noon to find out that the Oem part needed was no longer avail and a refurbished will be needed, cost $2,500. I refused service because the car is a 98 explorer and wanted to get 2nd opinion. When I picked up car and left lot, I noticed a loud continuous clicking and when at an idle, car was hesitant like quitting me. I went right back and svc advisor told me that tech had gone for the day and so did the manager. I told advisor I was scared to drive my car and she told me that they can have it lifted to check it and another diagnostic would be charged and no repairs will be done. I told her I never had this issues before and always had svc done when required. She tried telling me that she heard the clicking prior to having svc performed. I drove from Sacramento to Yuba City because I wanted to see the Dodge Charger that I had found online. I get there and deal with a really nice salesman. Test drove the car and decided to buy it. First problem I had was when I requested my personalized lisence plates off of my old vehicle that I was trading in. I was told that they couldn't give them to me and I had to go through the DMV to have them replaced. I still don't have my lisence plates. ***Update July 1, 2013, STILL NO PLATES!!!*** It was closing time when I left and after going less than a mile up the road and a light came on signaling something was wrong. After reading the manual I saw it was the sensor for tire pressure. I continued home but after filling the tires to where they should be the light still wouldn't go off. Went to a Dodge dealer and was told that one of the sensors was missing offf of the car. That still isn't the worst of it. One year and four months later, a car that I bought when it was one year old, the car nows has what I'm going to call the check engine light on. I took it too the shop so they could hook it up to the machine to get the code so we could kind of get an idea where the problem is. Well the guy writes down five different things. There are five problems with this car ALREADY. If I wanted to deal with a car that would have problems this soon after purchasing it I would have bought an older much cheaper car. The guy who sold me that piece of crap really hit that one out of the park! If I could give Geweke Ford more than 5 stars I would! Marco in sales was amazing. I had been looking for a car for a while and wasn't having any luck. I called Marco, let him know what I was looking for and within a couple of days he found one and delivered to me to test drive. Yuba City is about an hour from my house. After the test drive he took back to Yuba city to get detailed and delivered it the next day to my house. We both work full time with littles so it is hard to get away! Geweke worked with us on what we wanted to pay and delivered better than we expected. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend buying a vehicle through them! I can't say enough good things about Marco. read more

After previously talking to a salesman at this dealership over a couple of days Unfortunately Geweke did not have a vehicle meeting our families criteria. So we found one that might at a Ford Dealership in Colusa. And on our way to Colusa from Chico we received a phone call from the salesperson at Geweke, stating they had just received a vehicle off the delivery truck that matched our vehicle needs. Once we looked at the vehicle at Colusa and determined there vehicle was not quite what we wanted, we decided to go to Geweke to look at the one they just received. Unfortunately we were less than 2 minutes away from The Geweke dealership, when we received a phone call from them. Stating they were sorry but they had bad news, the vehicle they had informed us was available was special ordered for another customer! There for they would not be able to sell us this vehicle. We then pulled over on the side of the Highway to try and come up with a game plan. Our family was planning a trip out of the state, and was trying to buy a new vehicle for our trip that took place a couple days from then. My wife called back Geweke and asked to speak to the sales manager. The sales manager apologized and said that the vehicle was indeed special ordered, for a customer that was picking it up the following day. This review is for Drew and Nina. They had their shit together from the get-go. They had three vehicles ready to be shown for us, we test drove the only one we (bf and I) were interested in. They had all the paperwork drawn out from the beginning. No BS negotiations or haggling. We had already dealt with another sketchy dealership in Roseville, CA. Look for my review about Just Better Cars, Inc. Anyway, we left the dealership the same day with the vehicle. Very pleased. We have owned the vehicle for less then two months now, and both Drew and Nina have called in several times to make sure everything is ok. Also, Nina sent us a nice thank you card with an included voucher for an oil change. She also had the vehicle completley fueled up prior to sale for us as that was on issue I had. After paperwork cleared, Drew took it back to the gas station and refilled it back up for us. Excellent customer service all the way around, including the lady with glasses at the receptionist booth, the financing officer, the gentlemen that rode in the vehicle with us on the test drive. We drilled him hard with info and he had it down, squared away, even on the exact milage of the vehicle and how long ago the most recent oil change had been. He didn't slip on anything. Carfax came out clear and true to what was said. Price was in mid-range for the vehicle model, but this is also a vehicle trim that had all the bells and whistles. Our only complaint was the exterior color is not what we wanted, but that is something I could care less about. I didn't want any clowning around, no jokes, no hassles, they worked with us and we worked with them. Under two months of ownership, and over 6000miles later. I would most definitley go back to them to purchase another vehicle. 4 stars to the fact that they left their dealership frame on the vehicle. The service dept here is a joke. They couldnt figure out that I had a bad transmission so lubed the rea end. when I called Scott Babbler (the service manager) I couldnt even get a returned call. I guess it cost this dealership too much money to diagnose a bad transmission. read more
