Date of visit: May 1, 2026 Being a longtime member of Team Costco, I haven't been to a Sam's Club in forever. Like pre-COVID forever. But my friend that dabbles with the dark side needed to stop here and get a battery for his lawn mower and I tagged along. It's essentially the same format and much of the same merchandise as Costco, but there were some other things that my favorite Washington-based retailer doesn't carry, so I guess I could see how someone might want to visit both to get more variety in the items they purchase. Employees were few and far between, even at the battery center, which meant that we had to trek back to the registers to purchase the battery, which was annoying, and wasn't making me seriously consider supplementing my Costco membership with a Sam's card as well. However the store was in good condition, and kept up far better than most Walmarts. read more

If you're looking for quality and quantity, Sam's Club probably has it. From the $5 rotisserie chicken to the $10 pizza at the Sam's Cafe you are sure yo find a good deal. They also have a great variety of produce and frozen food section. I have also used the tire and battery department several times and found them to be very competitive. I also usually fill up my tank since the gas is often less expensive than other stations in the area. I love the convenience of using the Scan & Go feature in their app. It makes checking out and ordering food at the cafe really easy and convenient especially when there is a long line. The long lines are a problem when returning items. It seems like the almost always have just one employee working the return line. read more

Clean well organized store that has good stock on all their inventory. The café has fairly good convenience food and the prices are great. I enjoy looking through the clothing section, although there's not a fitting room so we would have to make a separate trip to return items if they don't work out. Easy exchange and refund policy,however the customer service line is usually a long wait. read more

Maybe it's influenced by how awful the Melrose Park, Illinois store was... but this Sam's club was a joy. Everyone was nice and helpful. I can't quite give Sam's Club in general five stars. They don't have much in the way of gluten-free, the cinnamon rolls were yummy but sadly a bit stale, and it still overall feels like Costco's dim cousin... but I liked the people here so much and the Walmart next door was convenient for the rest of our needs. This place would not be a 5/5 if not for the staff. Tips: look for marked down items on top of the piles and check the scan and go table at the front. read more

I moved to the Milwaukee area in May and I have been underwhelmed by Sam's pickup until yesterday when I had a pick up order here. I waited less than 5 minutes (instead of the usual 10 to 15 at both Franklin and Waukesha) and a lovely lady named Donna checked my ID and put my order in the back of my car. She was very friendly and personable, which was very appreciated. I also like that the pickup area was off to the side for easy traffic flow. Checked this Sam's location out in Kenosha. Same great food and sundry merchandise as all locations. Very clean and well-managed store. Shelves and refrigerator areas completely stocked. Staff is very polite and attentive. I like to do all my Christmas shopping here. It's almost a one stop shop a return trip. Definitely a return trip. read more

I was denied basic essential purchase yes! water & food yesterday. Tried purchasing water and 1 rotisserie chicken. My wife is the main card holder and since she wasn't with me I was denied food purchase. Who's to say she didn't feel well and she sent me instead. I get it for other purchases but food and water, really who does that? Terrible service from cashier. Borderline discrimination. read more

I love this car wash! Anytime I am shopping at sams in Kenosha I always make sure to stop here for wash. Its only $6 for a premium touch less wash. Usually gets the car nice and clean. If you're a regular car wash person like myself, I would bring a shammy to wipe down the excess water It does have a dryer at the end of the wash, but those never work as well as we'd like them too. read more

James from the tire department saved the day! My mother in law is handicap and she called me to tell me her tires were really low and if I could help. I thought "easy peasy." ...NOT SO MUCH!! I drove to 4 different gas stations and ALL of the air compressor machines were out of order. The last place I stopped was the Kwik Trip right near the Sams Club on Brumback. OUT OF ORDER... I was upset cold and out of options. I was getting nervous as 3 of the tires were dangerously low and I had driven from the south side of town already to the Northside. As I was driving I thought SAMS CLUB! We have purchased all of our tires from there maybe they could help! I needed to stop and purchase a few items anyway I thought, I will give it a try. I did not have an appointment. I was greeted by James in your tire center. I explained my situation and WITHOUT hesitation he agreed to help. I offered to pay he said "I will do it for free"... When I tried to pay him he refused payment and said he would get fired if he took my money. With tears in my eyes I thanked him. Simple acts of kindness does not happen every day. He did not have to help me but he did WITHOUT HESITATION. This is something that I will always remember. A little help goes a long way and makes such a big impact. I asked the store manager what was the best way to make the most impact for JAMES from tires to be recognized and she mentioned a review! Here is my story and hats off to James for going ABOVE and BEYOND! I will always refer friends and family to SAMS CLUB fir their tire needs. The high pressure sales tactics by the pharmacy are getting ridiculous! The guy says "give me 30 seconds of your time" I say "not interested" he says "why not? Come on!" As I'm walking away I yell "you're really making me not want to shop here anymore! was In to order a birthday cake for my child and witnessed the cake decorator eating frosting from the icing bag that she was icing the cake with! She had no gloves on as well. This is absolutely disgusting to see. I will not be getting any cakes from this club so gross! read more

It's SAMs club. Lots of things in bulk and a good jumbo hot dog n drink combo for less than 2 bucks. We come here got all our milk. It's way cheaper here than at pick n save. Cleaning supplies will last you an eternity compared to what u could get for the same price at a typical store The tires are good too. Good prices and good people. Plus they'll rotate your tires for free if u get em here. So every trip to SAMs = tire rotation. 2'fer The membership is worth it and will usually pay for itself on your first use. Did I mention sames. Come on weekends and be ready to try different stuff all over the store. The ladies can be a little pushy sometimes but they are pretty sweet most of the time. They have just about everything you would ever need. I like the Monster Drink deals. Their strawberries are always good, but I have not had the same luck with apples. For frozen items they are great. You can fund bulk chicken breast or fish galore. For the business they have all you needs lots if quantity, but no variety. This is just fine. read more

This is a review of the "Sam's Plus Membership Program". One word - LIARS! Maybe I am being harsh, but I can't get the same answer for a question from anyone. First I despise paying for a reward program and only purchased it because I bought a play fort for my grandson and the rewards were a wash for the cost of the Membership. I bought the play fort and Membership at the Menomonee Falls, WI store and asked the service desk when the rewards would be available. I was told immediately upon completion of the sale. Several days later I tried to redeem my rewards at the Kenosha, WI store and was told that they were not available until December 2018. I immediately went to the service Center and spoke to the person who actually trained the store personnel on this program and she promised that if I didn't like it come December, she would refund both the accrued rewards and the Membership cost. Well it is December 1, 2018 and my Sam's account states that I have $80.00 available in December 2018. We went to the Franklin, WI store and attempted to redeem the rewards on a $327.00 sale. I should have known, I couldn't redeem them. Back to the service Center. First person says, "Yep, the money is there, I don't know why it isn't working." The person next to her says " Most of them become available on December 2nd." The manager Colton arrives on the scene and now I am informed that the rewards will be available 60 days prior to the expiration of my Sam's Club Membership. Holy Confusion Batman! I explained all the confusion we have experienced and asked him to make it right but Colton accepted the loss of a sale and a Customer instead. Next stop, Kenosha, WI where they refused to stand behind their promise. I cancelled both Memberships, the Sam's Club and the Sam's Plus Membership Program and just took my refund for those. I am tired of being lied to. read more

Worst Christmas shopping experience EVER! The electronics department is a complete joke with no intelligence to be found. I went around looking for help to find a specific kind of T.v. but everyone seemed as if they could care less and just carried on looking bored and uninterested. There was one silver lining, eventually someone (I think his name was Noah) did come over and helped me out by answering all of my questions and helping me with what I needed. Other than that this visit was a complete joke. Only recommend going when he's working. read more

Let me give you a tip first: Buy your membership through a Groupon deal (if you go through Living Social, expect Satan and goats to process your purchase, don't go through them). When you purchase it, it comes with "gifts" such as a free rotisserie chicken, a ferrari (just kidding), rolls, pizza, and/or $20 gift card (it changes seasonally what gifts are offered). If you calculate the free items, you're getting the membership really really cheap. They only accept MasterCard and Discover, but Debit and Cash are okay. That being said, this location is one of the nicer clubs. The store is always clean, people are always nice if not cordial. We often find these as the best deals (we visit twice a month at least): 1. Books (especially the kids section) is usually cheaper than Amazon 2. Pantry items: Soups, Chips, Drinks, and their Bakery items 3. Gift Cards (cheaper than grocery stores) 4. Toilet paper is usually most cost effective per sheet here If you're into healthy crap, the fresh produce is decent but beware that a lot of it is not locally sourced (or even nationally sourced). The lettuce, however, is cheaper than PnS and the Pig. Housewares, electronics, and clothing is meh. Nothing a good sale at Target couldn't beat. Come here for the frozen and pantry foods. Avoid the cereal. Always. PnS, Pig, and Meijer offer wayyy better deals weekly! Sidenote, their on-board Optometrist, Dr. Claire is wonderful. I've been going to her since we moved up here and she's someone who actually enjoys her work and cares about her clients. Straightforward, simple process. Her assistants have never tried to sell me any upgrades or extras. I like that. I'm a woman who knows what she's about, they understand that! A++ I took one star away only for one small irritation, the contract sales people that try to talk to you as you walk by. It makes me feel uncomfortable and it's just awkward for everyone all around. I'm not interested in your Direct tv or touching your memory foam pillow, I'm here to buy 4 quarts of Listerine and a jug of vaseline for my dragon-scale skin, leave me be! All in all, good place to shop, just remember that buying in bulk is not always the best price. read more

I have not been a member of Sams for probably 20 years because of the awful service. I would stand in line to check out longer than it took me to shop! More than once I left my cart right there and walked out. Fast forward 20 years...My niece recently had twins and I wanted to get her a gift card of her choice. She asked for a Sams card because of diapers, and I assumed even though I am not a member that I could pay for a card for someone that IS a member! I was in Walmart and because there are gift cards there I asked if they sold Sams gift cards since they are owned by the same company, and I was told no, and that I had to go to Sams to get a card. This particular Walmart (Antioch, IL) does not have a Sams next to it so I drove 15-20 miles one way to Kenosha, WI. I went to Customer Service where there was one couple being helped, although no one was talking and I have no idea what they were doing.I waited about 15 minutes and finally went to the counter. I said that I was not a member, but that I would like to purchase a $200.00 gift card. She told me I couldn't, then she said "Oh but you can get a one day pass, but then pay 10% more, so it would cost $20.00 for you to buy the $200.00 gift card." I said, I cannot give you $200.00, and she said no, but that I could go to Walmart and buy a Walmart card that would work at Sams. I told her that I was already at a Walmart and they said no, that I had to buy a Sams gift card at Sams. My niece will be getting a gift card from a different store! NOT SAMS and NOT WALMART! Nothing has changed in 20 years...the stores/company still sucks. This same note will be going on my social media accounts. read more

I am very disappointed in the Sams Club in Kenosha Wisconsin. I was there on October 29th picking up a few items. I checked out and handed the cashier a $100 the cashier was supposed to return $44 and some change however, she returned the receipt, my members plus card, and $4 and some change. Normally, I count my money before I leave however, this time I didn't and the cashier took me for $40. I have been trying to get this matter resolved through Sams Club the Manager claimed that she viewed the video and also the cashiers drawer did not have an overpayment. That statement simply is not true that money was stolen from me because I got distracted reaching for a box to store my items. Funny how I had the $4 and some change and the two twenties were missing. I plead with everyone count your money before exiting this store and don't trust that a smiling cashier won't steal your money. By the way, I went straight home so there's no chance the money was lost or spent. It is the holiday season be careful. I'm not letting this go with Sams club I contacted corporate still no response. I used to like taking my car here, because my son loved it. Then, one day, I got out of the other side with multiple dents and scratches in the front fenders. So much for being a touch less car wash. I reported it and received a letter from samsclub's claims management blaming the company that maintains the car wash, stating that I will be contacted in a couple of weeks, but I could call them to get further information. They never responded to 6 calls with voicemails. I got a call from progressive insurance, the maintenance companies insurance, and after some phone tag, they admitted to the fact that the car wash has damaged multiple cars, but this was not their responsibility, since samsclub owned the wash and they only service it when called upon. I have admitted fault from the manager of samsclub, who won't give out his last name, from progressive ins, and from the claims management company, but no results....... This has been going on for 2 1/2 months. I drove past it yesterday and the wash is coned and taped off...... read more

I've had Sam's memberships twice. The only reason we had them was for electronics as their food selections are not appealing to me. They appear to have a contract with certain conglomerates and sells mostly their products, i.e. kashi, quaker, etc. They hardly have any organic and non-gmo products. And if you don't have the Sam's Plus membership, they are very pushy at the cash register. And you tell them no thank you and they keep on trying to convince you. read more
