A very busy location when we visited. However, they were still very quick and attentive with our order, including getting something they forgot. I love that this location has a fill-your-own drink station. It makes things much easier. The sandwiches were good and loaded, as usual. If we lived closer to here, we would visit more often. The location is a little bit tricky to get in and out of, but is roomier and homier inside than you'd expect from the outside. read more

First time at Mcalisters after hearing about it for a while. I ordered a Smoky Pepper Jack Turkey sandwich and tried my wife's spicy southwest chicken sandwich. Wow. They were NOT dry at all which is my biggest fear ordering sandwiches. The portion of meat on the sandwich was great, and the sauces were not taking over the flavor of everything else. The service was great, and the environment was clean. Drink are huge! Overall would recommend this place for a delicious sandwich. Today my friend and I went to McAlisters Deli for lunch. I must tell you after a road trip of 120 miles and a list of to dos as long as my arm they accidentally brought my friend the wrong sandwich but immediately before it was noticed fixed and brought to the table the correct order. Then as I had read the description of my order incorrectly I realized it wasn't what I wanted the very personable woman manager her name started with an "A" assisting us listening to me understood what I believed I was going to receive vs what I did receive went back to my made it for me. As well as we kept the original order didn't have to pay extra. This is my stop every month when I get to town! The customer service is amazing and they ALWAYS DO EVERYTHING TO MAKE SURE I FEEL WELCOME AND MY SERVICE ANIMAL IS CARED FOR! They are kind courteous ALWAYS make me smile and feel like I am family! Not a customer but welcome me las I am genuinely a part of their family. I've been going there for years I've always been given excellent service excellent food excellent hospitality!! We love McAlister's, so we typically stop into the location for lunch when traveling Albuquerque to Denver. The food is fresh and tasty, and they have a nice patio perfect for letting the dogs out of the car to stretch while we eat. However, this most recent visit was a hot mess. The bathrooms are showing their age (loose handles, things not closing properly, needs paint and upkeep). The staff was racing back and forth to take and fill orders, many of which were for takeout or driver pickups. There appeared to be no system in place for efficiency, though I will commend one of the staff for her attention to detail double checking orders to tickets as she packed the bags. One man had been waiting for 30 minutes and they didn't even acknowledge him and then couldn't find his order. One staffer called a name, then set the order down on the counter. When the customer came to pick it up, and they couldn't remember where it was. Cue facepalm! My order was perfect, other than they were too frazzled to remember straws so I had to run back inside and grab them, but I overheard several people murmuring about the things I witnessed becoming a frequent thing here. The Pueblo location definitely needs an update and some efficiency training to ensure the quality we expect from this fresh and delicious chain deli. read more

I LOVEEEEE McAlisters!! But lately, they are declining in taste and quality. Every time we get a cup of soup now, they barely give you any tortilla chips!! We had a lovely lunch with our girls on Friday. The food was delicious, the cost was reasonable and the location was nice. The only reason why I give it four stars instead of five is because they forgot our kids cookies and when I went back for them nobody seemed to know that the kids menu had cookies and they made a big fuss about it. I was was treated in the most rude, disrespectful way today. I ordered my food and patiently waited as guest after guest who ordered after me were served their food. My order was not a special order. I walked to the country top make my presence known and was told to step aside so that others could be served. After another few minutes they called the wrong name for order. When I walked back up to the counter to confirm that it was my order the gal giving me my order was visibly upset with me for not coming when she called the wrong name. She then proceeded to give me the bag and didn't say thank you or here you go or have a nice day. She said nothing and just held it in front of my face as she gave me dirty looks. McCalister's food has gone downhill. We consistently do not get what we ordered. The portions have been cut at least by a half. The whole experience us getting worse by the day. Asked for a change of bread on my turkey sandwich and that did not happen, and there was supposed to be avocado as a regular ingredient to the sandwich and there was none. The turkey was not in slices like it used to be, but was just a few shreds of turkey -- about half the amount it used to be. The were no dill pickles to any of the sandwiches we bought, and the fresh fruit salad size was about half the amount in smaller containers. Also prices increased.
