If you want to be like me and walk through security in less than 5 minutes, about the same amount of time to see someone through an appointment to get your Pre-TSA check in stuff done, then head over here (https://www.tsa.gov/tsa-precheck/apply ). This will ask you to bring two forms of identification and schedule you an appointment. Once you get to your appointment, seriously, it took me less than 5 mins to get in and out. Now you wait for your background check and a notification from the DMV and that's it. A little time out of your way and you'll be set to walk past EVERYBODY for the next 5 YEARS!
