This is a more you get what you pay for haunted house - no live actors - just animatronics, walls and darkness. It's really not scary but is more of a nostalgia thing for me from when I went with my family years ago. You can get 2 tickets for $10 with coupons from those dells coupon flyer books, it's quick and fun if you're curious and want something to do, dont expect anything really scary or great but it's fun.

We went through Ghost Outpost in a group with an 8-year-old who wasn't even scared. His only expression seemed to be "Cool!" at a hallway of glow-in-the-dark skeletons. There wasn't anything scary or unique about this place, just a bunch of wax figures in turmoil. When objects popped out, instead of being startled I was more interested in examining the primitive mechanics used to create the illusion (or lack thereof.) One "fearsome" display featured a hillbilly vomiting into a trash bin. How is that terrifying? I see that all the time in Cincinnati. Unless you like paying $8 to walk through a dark hallway with sharp corners, banging up your elbows and knees, it's best to avoid Ghost Outpost.

The outside is actually well done.

Just some dark hallways and a few motion sensor animatronics. Most of which are pretty worn and cheesy looking. One or two were interesting, my fav was the vomiting man. Received this free with our hotel stay. Was a good way to spend a few mins. There are no actors to jump out at you so for those that really can't do haunted houses this is a safer bet for them. Some of the blind corners are so dark that you have to feel your way around them. I will say the outside of the building is well done.

oh boy , it was better than I expected...

Great place to go but the only complaint I have is dogs are allowed. And unfortunately, I have dog allergies.

It was very dark in there, couldn't see where I was going. Make sure you have your arms out. Other than that it was ok.

They would scare or try to scare the people in front of us and then we would already know what was coming. It was very predictable. Definitely not worth more than $10. The actors were very fruity way too many props and costumes that were not even close to scary. I kept a straight face and didn't jump once. There are plenty of other haunted houses in the area I would definitely would not recommend this one.

Any downers I've seen in previous reviews are likely going into this with an attitude of a fortress wall, which isn't fair to this place. Sure your group influences your time, but you can easily go to the back and space out a little! This is not the haunts fault, they do a good job of scaring the front and back of the group. You've got to go to a haunted house ready to be spooked and to have fun, if you do that here, you will have an amazing time! Just saying, this place deserves way more credit & I'm disappointed at the inaccuracies of the reviews. Also this is a local small business, so huge kudos to their efforts. I've been to haunted houses all over the country and for the last 20+ years almost yearly, so take my word for it.. this place is putting in the work to make it cool for people. The scenery is insanely cool & there's so much attention to detail. The diversity and the length of the experience sold it for us. The bang for your buck is there; we were there longer than any other we've done, probably 1.5 hours with the extra haunt experience and hanging by the bonfire with drinks. So many textures, lighting, effects, animatronics, different themes, probs, actors, and even smells while you're being led through many many fields, houses, buses, warehouses etc! The actors were also scary yet didn't make me uncomfortable like others have before, they knew the line and didn't cross it. I loved how dedicated they were, some in cages or on the floor, some laying on the beams of the building, some blending in with the room or other props. We went on Halloween night & everyone we saw there had tons of fun too. Way to go, and thank you Screamin Acres! We'll see you next year.

I decided on this place since they had a few unique slides and such a unique look! plus you got 2 parks in one. I am not a go kart person and they have quite a lot of them. My husband enjoyed those. I just watched. I really wanted to try the roller coasters and I was so lucky with NO lines. The 4 wooden coasters are rough and very intense rides. Would I ride them again? Probably not. But I was so glad I could try them. The waterpark was fun. I did spend most of my time in the indoor portion. However, I really enjoyed the lazy river outside. The crazy wave pool with the 9 foot waves ... scary and crazy... Also not for me but I enjoyed people watching. The rotating slide is really why I was there. I never been on something like this. I think it's the only one in the USA and wow was it weird. It was really fun and different and something I will be probably never experience again. It can give you a little bit of motion sickness due to the movement but if that's not an issue for you, you should be good. I also love a good hot tub which they had. I definitely recommend and would love to come back. It was just so unique and fun.
