In one small space is a museum about Turkey Hill's history, how ice cream is made, etc. It's very interactive with an area to make your own ice cream flavor, commercial, and more. The ice cream sampling area is great. They give you healthy scoops. There's also an area to try their iced tea and lemonade and learn how it's made. The bottom level is a giant gift shop with toys, clothes, and more. There's a large parking lot out front.

We bought the double scoop experience (comes with ice cream test lab) and obviously that was the highlight of the place! The test lab is about 45min experience and the whole thing with self-guided tour takes about 1hr 30min to 2 hours depending how crowded it is. The visit was fun and of course my 5-year-old daughter had a great time eating tons of ice cream!

When we first got there, staff greeted us and let us know when the next train was leaving. I hadn't planned ahead to ride this time, but they also told us there's a park a little ways down that's included at no additional cost, which was a really nice option to have. From the parking lot at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania, you can actually see the playground behind a fence across the street. Once we walked over, we just took our time looking at the trains up close, passing the shops, and letting the kids explore as we went. The playground isn't huge, but it works. It's not gated, but it's tucked in enough that I wasn't worried about my kids running off. The ground is tire shred (which I prefer over tan bark), and there's seating for adults nearby. Bathrooms are right by the playground, which makes a big difference with little kids. There's also a Thomas the Train LEGO display at the Toy Train Store (not too far from the playground) which my kids loved. Next time, I'll plan ahead to include the train ride, but this was still a really good visit.

A man sitting nearby suddenly yelled at her that she wasn't allowed on the stage. My mom and sister apologized right away, but I jokingly said to my sister, "He probably doesn't even work here." The man immediately jumped into the conversation with an attitude and said, "I actually do work here." The whole interaction felt unnecessarily aggressive from the start. He was dressed in plain clothes with no name tag, uniform, or anything showing he worked there, so there was no clear way for visitors to know he was staff or that the stage was off limits. The situation could have been handled much more politely and professionally. Because of that experience, I honestly wouldn't come back. I also wanted to quickly add that if there was a sign, we did not see it.

The property is not luxurious, but it is comfortable very well kept and there is so much to do to keep all ages occupied. The kids loved the animals, the open fields and trampoline. They loved the firepit and roasting marshmallows. We don't have pets so they had chance to play with the kittens and dogs. At night they chased fire flies and created memories that will last a life time. For the adults Green Acres was tranquil and easy. Breakfast here is something that everyone must experience at least once in their lives. The tractor tour to the cow farm was incredible. By far one of the most interesting things a 'city' person could do to learn about how modern farms are run. Add in a nice walk to the local creek, trips to the ice cream parlour, Amish Tours and local attractions and we all had the most wonderful vacation.

The larger studio with 2 Queen Beds & pull out sofa is very spacious with 4 adults but can accommodate 5. There is a partitioned room /work space from the sleeping area, but no door. There are also two TVs. The other tv is located in the work space/separate sitting area with a pull out sofa, coffee table, & a pull out work table & office chair. There are numerous outlets, however some of the sockets were "loose" the plugs wouldn't stay secure in the outlet. But fortunately we remedied this by using other available outlets near the floor lamps. I was relieved when my friend & I pulled out the sofa bed, because sometimes you never know what kind of "surprise" you might find. The sofa bed was really clean & looked relatively new. My friend reported that the bed was a bit stiff but was fine. The AC unit worked like a charm! I do like the full sized shampoo/conditioner & body wash. It's very convenient. A hair dryer is provided for convenience. I do make it a point to search for hotels with a microwave & mini fridge. It's super helpful for road trips for your bottled water or beverages to keep cold & store leftovers. Water pressure was good, as well as the temperature. The only thing that was disappointing was the every other day housekeeping. Although this is mentioned in their website. Breakfast was fairly extensive, with a mixture of cold & hot items such as make your own waffles with options of bottled toppings aside from syrup, toast, bagels, yogurt, cold cereal, oatmeal, bananas, apples, oranges, jams, jellies, & three hot items that would vary on occasion of a frittata, or an omelette, and a type of sausage, either pork or turkey varying on the day. There were friendly employees tending the breakfast area with a smile, ensuring the areas stayed clean & items were replenished & for assistance if needed. Juices & milk were available. While the tea & coffee were at a separate area in the dining area. While it became busy, there was still plenty of seating & no back ups with obtaining food. Sometimes, I wonder exactly what people are looking for when it comes to "complementary" breakfast, when they refer to the breakfast as being garbage or inedible. Roughly a 45 minute drive to Strasburg RR, and a 35 minute drive to Turkey Hill Experience. There is a CVS within walking distance down the block, and an Exxon a block away on the other side of the hotel. The post office across the street is an Annex, so if you need to mail something off, there is a post office near the Hershey Story Museum, behind the Starbucks area. Although places are within walking distance, the streets are not ,that lead to the restaurants. There is no sidewalk until you reach a far way down. Overall, this is a good choice for a hotel if you want to be "centrally" located to Lancaster & other activities outside Downtown Hershey. It's in an unassuming area that seems out of place, but it's convenient, clean, spacious, includes breakfast, parking is included, has a microwave & mini fridge so it ticks off all the boxes for me. Plus the staff were kind & friendly & the hotel looked fresh & beautiful. The indoor pool is small & only 4 feet deep I believe, so if a pool is a deal breaker, this might be a no go for you. Ps if you want a surface to eat on because you don't feel like dining out & you order take away, you can roll that office table between the two beds & use it as a dining table.

Just finished a six night stay…read more We stayed in large room. It had two queens and a pullout. There was a desk area. Also had a small microwave and small fridge. The room felt dark-with decor in particular. Breakfast every morning. Had your typical breakfast- waffle maker waffles, cereal, bagels, eggs, a breakfast meat, yogurt, fruit, juices. They also had coffee that was out 24/7. Has a small indoor pool and a nice exercise room. Hershey Park during summer months have concerts that you can hear from the sound from your room. So if you go to bed early this may be an important factor. Rooms didn't really have a refresh. I was lucky if trash was taken out and we got new towels without asking. Not a bed made once. I miss those days of coming back to a nicely made bed. I guess those days are long gone? Also, the week we were there lots of kids which were running around the lobby like it was a playground. Overall my stay was okay. I might book here again if I was in the area but I would also consider a different spot as well.

PART 1 My family…read morewas on vacation at the Eden Resort in Lancaster, PA to celebrate our daughter's 10th birthday. Our stay was cut short just one day after arriving. My 2 daughters enjoyed the pool multiple times from Thursday afternoon until Friday evening with no issues and no concerns. Friday evening 02/06/2026 around 5:35pm while my daughters were swimming with their father. ( I was in the hotel room which is accessed from the pool area) Their father and multiple other guests witnessed the assistant night manager take a photo in the pool area in the direction of my 11 year old daughter. The assistant night manager then left the pool area within seconds of doing so. My children's father called me immediately to come watch over the kids while he went to confront the assistant night manager or to speak to someone if he couldn't find him. I checked my kids, walked to their father and 2 other guests that were speaking about the incident. Stating they without a doubt saw the assistant night manager take a photo with my daughter in it. At this point the assistant night manager enters the pool area again. The girls father and I approached him and asked if he took a photo of our child. He denied taking a photo with my daughter in the picture. His reaction spoke volume he was shaking when approached and tried to walk away. He stated he was "doing his job" and then stepped into a closed area with his phone in his hand. There was a woman in the hot tub next to us who said "I saw everything don't let him delete anything without you seeing!" But that was already my plan! I stepped into the doorway of the area the manager stepped into. I said let's clear this up please show me the photo. After pushing his way out and finally bringing up the photos, I saw my daughter in the photo as he tried to delete them. I grabbed his phone as soon as I saw him trying to delete the photo of my daughter. She was bent over outside of the pool. He tensed up with two fists like he was going to hit me until my girls father got involved. The assistant night manager was shaking even more while my girls father deleted the photos checking his text/emails to make sure they weren't sent to someone.( at this point the asst manager allowed the kids father to have his phone) Everyone in the pool area is still watching. Things got heated verbally. He stated his photos were for work. For safety precautions since there was a tarp/door open in the area. ( there was 2 photos on the asst manager phone from this incident. ONE blurry of the overall area as if taken quickly and the SECOND photo with my daughter in it and the tarp in the background). I called the police. The police interviewed my girls father before interviewing the assistant night manager. They had found a photo with our daughter in his recently deleted section on his android that he told us his android did not have. They also checked his outgoing messages and entire phone to confirm that there was nothing containing our child still on his phone. In between the police being called and speaking with the general manager this man was MIA for at least 10-15 minutes. The GM's response and reaction was beyond disappointing. Along with all staff at the front desk as if we (along with other guests) were wrong for being concerned about this incident which made this more aggravating due to the type of situation. The GM kept a smile on his face and was dismissive, even when the police arrived. He stated that the assist manager did nothing wrong and will have no repercussions. The GM also stated that I was wrong to step into the staff area. (The police reminded him that any parent would have done the same!) I was not combative or threatening. I clearly stated I wanted, NEEDED to see the photo ( what parent wouldn't in this situation? If the asst manager did nothing wrong and had a clear conscience why did the situation go as it did? Why not handle it professionally, show the photo, apologize ect.) After the night manager was questioned by the police, the police determined that there was NO charges that are able to be filed. Staff confirmed that there are protocols and regulations in place for staff to take photos for safety or other reasons. Which would not allow a minor to be photographed. Given the circumstances and how the situation played out we were angry upset and wanted to make our daughters feel safe and comfortable. We left the Eden resort.

Or that's how it sounded! It went on for over 30 minutes! It seemed intentional. Then bustling down for our second night we thought it was over. WRONG! ANOTHER 4:00 AM wake up call from another trash truck! To boot I asked the front desk why our room didn't get made up? They ONLY make up rooms every 3 days!!!! WHAT?? I would NEVER stay here again! Plus! The front desk NEVER answers their phones!!

This is my second time here…read more First time was in 2023 and they were renovating the lobby area and there was a wedding. The wedding was loud and disruptive until 10 pm. Breakfast was in a conference room with impromptu tables and chairs. It was a weird experience back then. This time, it had improved. The lobby is finished and it looks nice and updated. Very modern. The restaurant is done and clean. Breakfast had some clean and relatively new silverware. The experience this time was at least better. The rooms are not done renovating yet and it is still outdated. As of this date, they are still working on Floors 4 and 5 and 5 has been closed off. The location isn't too bad. It's great for golfing which I think is why people like coming here.
