This location stays pretty clean and well stocked. The part I don't like is that there are only a few friendly staff and the deli is now the worst I've ever been to. I've complained to the company about these things, hoping for improvement. The staff behind the deli counter should seek to wait on customers in line prior to doing other things. There is no sense of urgency to make the line move quicker. I've experienced this the entire year. Ridiculous how the store has gone down. read more

I just can't take it anymore. The amount of people in line who want to give you their money and have more than a few, completely full shopping carts, and you have 10 set check out lanes and 4 lanes operated by a human with no one bagging. Pandemic? Sure. I will give you a pass. However, this has long been the case. It's not new.... I am officially done and traveling an extra twenty minutes to ACME in hudson to find the best service of not better products. Hell WalMart will do! I love that I have to wait 20 minutes just for a poor elder woman to bag her own grocery's while four people stand right in front of her (talks mg to each other) to make sure all the lanes have no blinking lights WHICH THEY DO!!! No clue about service. No clue about human behavior. No clue at all. read more

This Giant Eagle is a dark horse, yielding an unexpectedly broad selection of fresh seafood, fresh produce, cheeses, and international foods. The store feels more like a Publix than anything else we have in Ohio, and I would definitely return again when I'm passing through this busy Streetsboro junction. In this region if you're after shrimp, for example, you can typically only find the farmed variety from Vietnam, but this place has wild shrimp from Argentina, fresh scallops, crab, etc. I was really impressed by the variety of seafood that they stock. They also have a substantial deli area with a broad range of more niche cheeses. The produce section includes a good variety of organic veggies. In the dry goods department, you can find things like a huge display of Goya products, British P.G. Tips tea, and Japanese Pocky, among the usual American brand staples. Pro-tip: They have a few shelves of clearance items (food as well as basic personal care items like shampoos, etc) between the bakery and seafood departments at the back of the store. I like this store for its proximity and the reward card program they have. You accumulate point for groceries discounts and discounts on the gas. I wish they would have explained it to me, as I am still figuring it out. It is also always clean and I never waited over than 5-10 min at the register. I found out that a few product are more expensive as their competitor, and by a lot. Take the example of the nut butter : same product/brand/ format is half price somewhere else. So overall convenient for location and having fresh produce; but the rest of the market would be for me, more expensive. read more

Being my hometown Giant Eagle store that I obviously frequent the most, it would be a good idea if I gave it an honest review. This store was originally a Tops and was purchased by Giant Eagle over a decade ago and they took great lengths to expand it by 20,000 square feet and give it a complete remodeling and update inside and out. Despite all those efforts, the store fails periodically in customer service: poorly trained and rude cashiers, more than a handful will not even say one word to you or ask for your Advantage Card or give your total at the end of the transaction, The employees in the deli department are a mixed bag that are inexperienced and rude at times and bakery employees that look at you as if you asked them to pull teeth when you ask for a loaf of Italian bread to be sliced. To the store's credit the Pharmacy employees are helpful and good. They do need to turn down the music that blares outside in the parking lot as well, it feels like you are walking in a used car lot or a carnival upon entering and leaving the store. One thing of late that is an actual improvement for Huntington Bank customers, Huntington Bank has replaced Citizens Bank as the in-store bank, a boon to us Huntington customers. A well-appointed store but the help in general needs to be trained better with an across-the-board attitude adjustments. That all starts with management, bottom line this store is poorly managed in many instances. read more

Employees are rude-especially at the service desk, it's very inconvenient for them to help you. Since you have to have a Giant Eagle cats to use self check out-It would be great if they updated their system to be able to type in your Giant Eagle # vs. scanning it. Acme does this so you don't have to have your card. I always love paying $200 and bagging my own groceries at a full service register. They might want to take some lessons from Meijers, friendly and they bag your groceries. read more

Store is like boot camp. You must March in their footsteps or they don't want you as a customer. You can't self checkout unless you have an account on file or wait around for a snobby employee to look down their nose at you to scan their approval to pay for your items. This regiment is not for me. Employees are absolutely the worst in Streetsboro area retail in my opinion. I will spend my dollars at the smaller grocers where customers are treated with respect and appreciated. read more

My favorite grocery store will always be Giant Eagle. I love going to the one is Legacy and even the one in Solon. All of them are simply great! The meat department is so large and full of quality meats. The deli is exceptional and also brimming with great items . Don't get me started on how great the bakery is as we always purchase so many of our cakes here. They have some of the best frosting around. My only lamenting is related to the produce section and the lighting . It's just too darn dim here are I hate that part. The produce is so good and I want the light to reflect this- literally. All of the people who work here are great and I just love shopping here . read more

This is the worst Giant Eagle I've shopped in around this area. The deli salads don't look fresh. The deli's meat service is very slow. The people at the meat counter and customer service desk are rude. Prices are very high compared to other stores in the area. My most recent trip will be my last. read more

This is by far the nicest Giant Eagle I have been in. Beautiful salads in this deli. I believe they would be good to eat, too. Beautiful selection of edible breads in the bakery section. And other things. Of course there is a beautiful selection of non-edible (by me, anyway) bakery items but that is to be expected. I don't know that this stuff is worth the price, for sure without a Giant Eagle card, but I like to look at it. read more

I love this store, they have almost everything I could ask for. But, I bought mozzarella sticks that you take home to bake, and they came with salsa instead of marina. Soooo disappointed. read more
