I left my wallet there for days and they held onto it until I realized where I left it, and returned it with all my money untouched. The employees are always helpful and personable, and will help give you the best deals! I feel safe leaving my backpack and bike at the front of the store knowing the employees will keep an eye on it for me. The store may have random selections of products but what they do have is usually for a good price, and the employees are always willing to help with whatever you need. I'm grateful they are so close by!

I really liked the isle that sells additional household goods because you can really get some good items at a good price. The seafood department is always fresh and the deli department was as well. Both departments associates had pleasant attitudes and were quick with service. There were several lines open which made the check out process quicker. The cashier was pleasant and detailed. We recently had a death in the family, and even after being told ahead of time that we had to travel out of town unexpectedly, he still received a point for attendance. At one point, the manager tried to make an example out of him and told all of his coworkers "this is how you shouldn't act as an employee and then said his name." Very Very unprofessional!!!

Any corrective conversation should be handled privately and respectfully. When I later expressed my concern regarding this behavior to the Store Director, Vikki Eiswert, I was told to leave the store after stating that I felt her approach toward the employee was rude. Rather than engaging in a professional discussion, she stated she would not argue, removed items from my hands, and proceeded to contact law enforcement. At no point was I aggressive or causing a disturbance; the only issue was that I voiced my concern about her conduct. I will not be shopping at this location again, and I intend to ensure that this experience is brought to the attention of the appropriate parties. No one--whether a manager or a store associate--should be spoken to in a belittling or disrespectful manner. The employee involved was not at fault, and being in a leadership position does not justify speaking to employees in an unprofessional way. While being asked to leave the store is not my primary concern, I will continue to share my experience until it reaches the appropriate level of review.

I experienced extremely poor customer service today at this location. I came specifically to…read morepurchase the viral $29.99 meal deal but left very disappointed. When I arrived at the deli counter, I patiently waited while an employee was assisting another customer. After she finished, I asked whether we needed to take a number. She told us no, then proceeded to slice meat. Once she was finished with that task, she still did not acknowledge us. Instead, another customer walked up, and she immediately took their order, despite us having been there first and waiting for quite some time. We didn't want to appear impatient or rush her, so we continued waiting. However, after being repeatedly overlooked, I finally asked if it was normal to wait that long just to place an order. She responded that she "didn't know we were ready to order." Considering we had been standing directly at the counter waiting and watching her, that explanation was difficult to understand. The entire interaction left me feeling ignored and unwelcome. Whether it was intentional or not, the experience was frustrating and disappointing. Customer service should be consistent and respectful for all customers. What surprised me most was that the manager, who happened to look like me, shared that she had also experienced racism when she first transferred to this location. Hearing that only added to my concerns about the culture and environment at this store. Overall, the customer service was unacceptable, and based on this experience, I will likely not return to this location.
