I needed whipped cream cheese, cream cheese, Biscoff cookies and cookie butter, heavy cream, sugar free whip cream and sugar free jello pudding mix. I also got some strawberries. Out of the giants in my area, this one stands to be one of the better ones. They tend to have more options for products, have new products first and seem to keep things pretty organized. The only complaint I have currently is some items will be out of date, keep a better eye on that and keep doing what you're doing otherwise. read more

I really enjoy this Giant. It's spacious and most mind their distance when out and about. We got in the mornings a little after 8 to avoid crowds. Staff is always friendly and there was an incident where we were trying to pick up our order at the wrong one, but they were very nice and helped us get to this Giant to pick up. I like their gluten free options as they have basically the same variety as Wegman's without the bit more travel time. The prices have always looked good to us when we go in. The place is always clean when we go in. I have seen some fruit flies, usually in the onion section, but with automatic doors and produce, those things can't always be avoided. The deli counter has a bunch of options that I'd never heard of before and thats neat. Two things I wish they had: Beef Bacon and I haven't seen Chuck Roast there any time we've been there. Other than that, this is our regular grocery visit for weekly grocery shopping. It can be a bit hard to get to if you're not familiar with the area and we weren't at first, but now we've got the hang of it. Oh! I also really like that I can use the scanners and scan as I go. Then we just go to self checkout and we've already got everything bagged in our reusable bags, so no need to wait in a line to be checked out by someone when in a hurry. read more

I had a pleasant experience throughout the store but I wanted to bring to your attention the severity of the cold weather and how you are treating your employees, especially those with the carts. A young man was very helpful in taking my cart when I was finished at my car, but he almost immediately had to run to grab another that was blowing in the severe wind. I saw that he was the only person outside and that is a lot for one person. You should have more people outside so someone can take breaks. Just a thought. read more

I stopped yesterday looking for a specific item. I inquired at the front office for my item and was told they have not received the item in a few months. I decided to try and find it myself knowing that I have purchased this product in the past from this store. I met an employee Tonya, she was collecting items for an order. I approached her with my question about the same product. She was so kind, Tonya stopped what she was doing and helped me look in 3 isles. She was so pleasant and made such nice conversation with me. I truly appreciate her customer service but more her sincere kindness. Giant- you are lucky to have her. She is a true asset to your company. My entire experience is great until I get to the cashiers. Twice this has happened in 2 weeks. Cashiers don't say hello or make eye contact, haven't asked for my saving card, dont verbally tell me my total, and no thank you for me bagging. It's as if I'm bothering them. This is my go-to grocery store being that I live walking distance from it. It's your regular run-of-the-mill Giant Food but I like this particular one over the other Giant near by (the one near White Marsh Mall) because it offers a larger selection of "natural" food products. They tend to always have great deals if you are using their rewards card. And this card is great if you get gas at Shell! Every dollar spent there equals one point; every 100 points is equal to 10 cents off per gallon. Shopping for my family equals to a TON of points each month. There is a Redbox & a Coinstar right inside the front doors They offer Movie Night every weekend this Summer in which they put up a gigantic inflatable white screen & project a movie on it in the parking lot. Family-friendly movies with popcorn!! How cool! Super friendly staff & very helpful I'm giving it four stars versus five because on one occasion, I had purchased a sausage product that was expired. Yes, I should have double-checked the expiration but once I had noticed it at home, I returned to the store. The manager took the matter seriously, refunded me the money, & apologized. I went back to the meat section & found that there were others way passed the expiration -- manager was informed & they fixed it right away. And sometimes, their produce can tend to not look it's freshest. Especially their green peppers & avocados. Now, this isn't all of the time but I have noticed it several times. I don't believe they put up old produce!!! But I think it's because they are still fairly new (been open 1 year?) and just don't have the business yet to warrant the amount of produce they offer...? I like to go to Richardson Farms for my produce anyways, so to me, it's not the biggest deal in the world. read more

This is a Very poorly managed store. I use the Giant food app to shop and get audited every other time. The problem is that only a few employees know how to continue the check out and I have to wait until the knowledgeable employee comes to the check out line. Really frustrating. No response from the email I sent to Giant food. There are four grocery stores that are closer to my house, so I shop at those now. read more

Just left the store and must give full credit where it's due. Everyone there was so friendly and helpful. Jason greeted me as soon as I came in to shuck corn then gave me some bagged ice to keep my meats chilled. Also greeted kindly by several other staff during shopping. Very nice and clean. Long hours are great for anyone with a busy schedule. They have a natures promise section with a ton of vegan options like cheese, yogurt, cheese cake, ice cream and more! I'm hoping that they pick up more vegan items because I'm sure plenty of people will be looking to try plant based substitutes after they get their blood work done after this years holidays. Only way to lower your cholesterol is by reducing your intake of animal-products. read more

After searching several area Giants to try and get a picture on a birthday cake, this Giant agreed to do it. The bakery clerk was nice, but she originally told me it was going to be $25.99 and I paid at their self-checkout $35.99. The cake looked fine, but was definitely not worth $35.99...the writing on the cake was even sloppy. So if she was inexperienced in cake decorating, why wasn't there someone else there who maybe was experienced in the event someone wanted a customized cake. I am just done with this whole process...getting a birthday cake shouldn't have been a whole week ordeal read more
