My first time going here. I ordered three topping calzone for 10.99 with a coupon. My wife got chicken parmisan with salad and garlic bread. First it was really hot inside and they were busy with phone orders, so we were treated expeditiously. the price for food is good, but it's kind of "you get what you pay for" type of thing. The food is almost identical to the other pizza place down the street, same owners? To sum it up, if I were to eat there again, it would be carry out or delivery. Yuck! Both sandwiches we ordered were terrible! The cheese sticks tasted like they had been microwaved and then left to sit out for an hour or so. Salad was bitter and wilted. Sauce was dreadful. This place was interesting to say the least. I regret dining in because if I would've just taken it To-Go my experience would've been less weird. Also I feel like I'm being generous with two stars: mainly cause the garlic bread is pretty good. The customer service was odd in my experience. This dude literally comes back to me with a plate and said (AS HES REACHING TOWARDS MY SALAD) can I put a plate under this? I just say oh ok? Kind of insulting first of all. I'm not a five year old. I'm an adult woman I can assure you my food makes it in my mouth. Number two, are you not planning on wiping the table down anyways? Wtf? It was so strange. I felt so uncomfortable. I get the rest of my food. The marinara sauce tastes like water. It was gross. Noodles way over cooked. Garlic bread was delicious tho! Rest of my dining experience was in a very quiet place. Like literally whatever staff was there hid in the back. I could've jumped over the counter and made a pizza myself (ok that's dramatic lol...) but still. Watch out for this place they are scamming people. I ordered the 19.99 special with 2 large pizzas and a soda on the wall it says the large is 16" but when they were making my pizza they made 14" and when I asked them they said it was wrong on the wall . So I asked if they were going to honor it because it was quite a difference and they said no . I got my money back and will never go there again. read more

Update to my experience on 5/9/16, one week ago. After the manager telling us he would refund the charge for the pizza that the miserably effed up, that has not happened. I gave this place a week before checking to see if they would do what they said they would and refund the charge for sending me the wrong pizza. In fact, it appears that I was double-charged. I'll be checking with my bank on Monday morning. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS ESTABLISHMENT. They don't care about the customer AT ALL. They will do whatever they can to get your money and THAT IS IT. The best thing that can happen is that EVERYONE stay away from this bunch of losers and let this miserable excuse of a pizza joint wither and die on the vine, slowly and painfully. Oh, and I'm forced to give at least one star in order to post a review. These people don't deserve even the one star. Moved to Lakeside last year and can't get enough of this delicious pizza! Reminds me of New York Pizza, very tasty and the owner Andy is a great guy always offering amazing service and hospitality. I have a groupon voucher, you pay $10.00 you are suposed to get $20.00 worth of food. I look on line at thier menu and call to order. They told me they have two different menu prices, one for online and one for walk in. The one on line is discounted so they would not honor the coupn and if I walked in to order I would be charged more, not to mention they stated they would only disount $10.00, I paid $10.00 so I dont understand, very frustrating. Hey guys I literally made a yelp account just to leave a review for this place. I ordered pizza from here and it was bad from the ordering all the way to the delivery. I was quoted one price and charged another a couple of bucks more but still don't like to be lied to. I didn't say anything and just waited for my pizza about an hour later and was told 45 min the pizza came and was cold the driver was rude and doesn't even say hi just here you go. The parking lot area has plenty of spots available. This location is inside a shopping center which was recently reconstructed within the last eight months. The vibe upon pulling up to Giant Pizza King you can already smell the pizza and sandwich pleasant smells before even walking through the door. This location is family owned and operated so you'll get to know the people working if you do become a fan. Get this, I returned back to this pizza location after more than eight years and the same guys who ran the place eight years ago are still there! The inside is casual dining with a TV to view as your order is made. The pizza dough is freshly made right in front of you, placed in the oven and out within 20 minutes. Once out of the oven, the smell is wonderfully to the nose and presented as a tasty pizza. The cheese is even good different than most cheese tastes. The only negative though sadly is the pizza is greasy. I do believe are not all pizzas greasy? So it doesn't really apply to my rating. Want good tasty pizza, 8 slices of pizza which will all taste good for a good low price of $8, carry out? Take advantage and go support these guys. They will not honor Entertainment online coupons. The manager was very rude and greedy. I will never return no matter if pizza is good or not. When I called to order my pizza, I stated EXACTLY what the coupon was and what it said. They said OK. When I got there, they said they couldn't honor it and could give me 15% off (the coupon was for 1 pizza 50% off) It would be "too much of a loss" for them.
