I found Boquet of Love florist and gave them a call thinking it was too late to get a lovely flower arrangement to the funeral home in time. However, I explained the situation over the phone, he gave me my options (which I was glad there were options), and in less than 30 minutes, for a very fair price, a beautiful and large arrangement of flowers found its way to the funeral home for the service/viewing (see pic). They actually received many compliments about their beauty as noted to me by my sister who was there. All I can say is that was an outstanding effort and the best florist experience I have ever had. I went there again after Christmas and she said it can only be discounted 20%, but again, she would not let me inspect it. At that time, she said, she is a manager of the store and that owners are three man, the lady who was at a funeral was also a manager, not an owner of the store. Today, the item I wanted to purchase was still displayed on the window, and she lied that it was already sold, refusing to sell it to me. She was very rude and told me to get out of HER STORE, stating that she is the owner. This person by the name of Christine should not be manager of anything! She can take her whole store to her own home, because we - the residents of Bay Ridge don't need her NASTY ATTITUDE and lies! She spent hours with my mother and I perfecting everything detail of my dream invitation for my wedding October 2020. She was personable yet professional. She truly loves her job, she is not a money hungry wedding vendor trying to rip her brides off. As a bride, I've met many different vendors from dress stores to florists and if there's one thing they all have in common- trying to get as much as they can from a bride planning her dream wedding. This was not Regina, her prices were extremely reasonable and the quality incomparable. As I said this was amidst the pandemic, so I didn't know if my 10/11/20 would happen. After receiving the quote and design proof from Regina I told her I would like to wait before placing the order since no one knew if this pandemic would effect my wedding. She responded with nothing but kind words and hoped for the best. Fast forward to May 2020, I decided to postpone until March 2021- but then September 2020 decided to replan my wedding in a month to get married on our original 10/11/20 date. Unfortunately, because I decided a month before the wedding to have it again there was not enough time to send paper invites. I had to do the 21st century pandemic thing and send an evite (ew, I know) but I was left with no other choice given the short notice. However, I still needed place-cards for my bridal shower and the wedding. Regina could not have been more accommodating, she got them done quickly and they were PERFECTION. When I went to pick up the place-cards, she could not express how happy she was that amidst this pandemic I was going to have my wedding. With tears in her eyes and genuine happiness, she told me she had a surprise for me. She then handed me the stunning invitation we had spent hours planning. Regina wanted to ensure I had a real copy of my invitation to take pictures of and cherish forever. Her genuine, passionate, kind hearted work should be known to every bride. Thank you Regina, you are a very special person. Don't ever change! There are not many (if any) vendors like you, who truly love their job and do it for the love not the money!
