First, she didn't know the price of the item I wanted to purchase, she said she only works there and that the owner wasn't available at the time, because SHE was at a funeral. Then she gave me a price, but she didn't allow me to inspect the item closely, she said it can't be taken down from the window before Christmas. I went there again after Christmas and she said it can only be discounted 20%, but again, she would not let me inspect it. At that time, she said, she is a manager of the store and that owners are three man, the lady who was at a funeral was also a manager, not an owner of the store. Today, the item I wanted to purchase was still displayed on the window, and she lied that it was already sold, refusing to sell it to me. She was very rude and told me to get out of HER STORE, stating that she is the owner. This person by the name of Christine should not be manager of anything! She can take her whole store to her own home, because we - the residents of Bay Ridge don't need her NASTY ATTITUDE and lies! I will file a lawsuit against the store, and if she is the real owner, she will have to answer in Court, if not, I urge the owners to fire her, or they will be responsible for her nasty and discriminatory attitude!

My two best friends had a dual birthday and I noticed this was next to Heart to Heart, so I decided to check it out. This store has a variety of funnies so it's cool to check out and also a shop I impulse-buy-indulge on. Each section of the shop is well put and often restocked. I liked how there were sample testers for the lotions. Also there's your usual card selection in the back along with gift wraps, gift bags, and decorations to pick up. I also love cheese, but I'm just tempted to buy one of those mystery cheeses near the shelves or those seasonal delights/chocolates/cookies on the middle table. Also, I'd come back for the Pre de Provence soaps, Crabtree & Evelynn sets, and Tea Forte samples/cannisters. This is probably going to be my favorite shop.

In fact, I recently discovered the shop itself as they hosted an outdoor vinyl sale, inviting other local vendors and collectors to sell directly outside their shop. It was a fantastic event under any circumstances, but in these days in particular felt like an inspired and ideal way to celebrate and embrace a communal NY spirit. I walked away with a nice mug for myself, a couple of surprise early holidays gifts off my list and, of course, some interesting new and used vinyl. This adorable storefront contains art of all mediums -- accessories, garments, teas, pottery, and more. Whimsical NYC fruit magnets? Check. Stickers of Druid woodland cats? Absolutely. The PERFECT holiday cards for friends and loved ones? Yup. And it's surprisingly affordable -- there were some incredible prints in (so glad to see the artists' names were clearly labeled!) for $15-$20. There's so much local love here and so much awesome AAPI creative energy. I know I'll be back. Thank you to Anthony, who was so sweet (and rocking one of their great mushroom shirts) while I spent approximately a million years browsing the shop. A local gem!

I love this store…read more I visited this wonderful store a few months ago. The female employee, who was seated by the front door, was sweet and incredibly welcoming. It's a tiny shop but it's jam packed full of all sorts of interesting novelty and artisanal products. Some of the things I saw were beautiful hand made pottery, jewelry, key chains, stickers, paper products such as postcards, and zines. There were a few handbags and clothing on a rack outside the shop as well. I believe the inventory changes every few months. I can't wait to go back to see what new products they'll have available.
