From the customer service to the product it self. First, the center pieces. They changed the price on us 3 times. And danced around the contract because it couldn't be understood. This is our fault because we should have never signed off on it. And they had us stuck between a rock and a hard place due to them changing it 5 days before our party. We ended up with less and paying more. And basically the owner calling my wife a liar. Second, day of the party the center pieces where an embarrassment they where all spelled wrong. They said "Happy Bithday". Third, we ordered a sign that was suppose to be a big horse and carriage sign that said "Happy Birthday Princess Alexa". All we got was a star with Alexa on it. When we asked them about it the woman said oh I used my artistic ability and did that. I was very taken back on the lack of respect they have towards there customers. Beware!!

Blue Skies Pottery has been on my radar for a while. I no longer live in Hoboken, but still really wanted to try my hand at their wheel course! For 2 hours, you get to done an apron, and learn from one of their very kind and patient instructors. We first made a bowl but mine somehow did not make it to the actual bowl stage. I was encouraged by the intructor saying that going too far is what pottery is all about. Why play it safe when you can just mush it back into a big ball and start over. So try 2 was for a vase! Sure it's short and swirly and imperfect but I personally love it and it now holds all of my make up brushes proudly. Their beginners course is $75 for a two hour lesson. You can choose to fire your piece or pieces for an additional $15 a piece. So really the wonky vase you think looks silly is actually a $90 ceramic masterpiece... You pick them up a month later and marvel at the fact that this was just a blob of clay 30 days prior. I'm now soooo excited to try one of the 6 week courses and get better and better, but really just mostly love the idea of working with my hands uninterrupted each week. She truly loves her job, she is not a money hungry wedding vendor trying to rip her brides off. As a bride, I've met many different vendors from dress stores to florists and if there's one thing they all have in common- trying to get as much as they can from a bride planning her dream wedding. This was not Regina, her prices were extremely reasonable and the quality incomparable. As I said this was amidst the pandemic, so I didn't know if my 10/11/20 would happen. After receiving the quote and design proof from Regina I told her I would like to wait before placing the order since no one knew if this pandemic would effect my wedding. She responded with nothing but kind words and hoped for the best. Fast forward to May 2020, I decided to postpone until March 2021- but then September 2020 decided to replan my wedding in a month to get married on our original 10/11/20 date. Unfortunately, because I decided a month before the wedding to have it again there was not enough time to send paper invites. I had to do the 21st century pandemic thing and send an evite (ew, I know) but I was left with no other choice given the short notice. However, I still needed place-cards for my bridal shower and the wedding. Regina could not have been more accommodating, she got them done quickly and they were PERFECTION. When I went to pick up the place-cards, she could not express how happy she was that amidst this pandemic I was going to have my wedding. With tears in her eyes and genuine happiness, she told me she had a surprise for me. She then handed me the stunning invitation we had spent hours planning. Regina wanted to ensure I had a real copy of my invitation to take pictures of and cherish forever. Her genuine, passionate, kind hearted work should be known to every bride. Thank you Regina, you are a very special person. Don't ever change! There are not many (if any) vendors like you, who truly love their job and do it for the love not the money!
