Cinnamon rolls, pizza were sold out.(1pm) I wanted to pay cash, but noticed after ordering upon the kiosk that bringing the receipt to the counter to pay with cash wasn't an option so I used my card. It'd be really nice is there was a tray concept by the front end of the stores eating area, even tho it's a short distance. It's a lot to carry 5 hot dogs in two hands, with drinks and chips, and that's if you even have both hands available. I noticed that the dining area was lacking attention. So I have some suggestions * have a self serve wipe bucket or spray+wipes accessible for guests to take wipe down table incase employee isn't available. * It'd be nice if the hotdog wrapper were a bit larger so that it's could actually be wrapped so that there's no worry about condiments slipping out of the sides onto clothes. There are pieces that definitely cover style, comfort and durability. However, it's difficult to find a piece that has everything within the budget you may have set for yourself. That being said, there are plenty of options for those who have a little or a lot to spend. And while I didn't find a sofa that spoke to me at that time, I found myself here again, a few years later, looking for a mattress. And this time I did give them all my money. There was a very patient gentleman who put up with me for at least an hour while I tried all the mattresses that fit my criteria, and then while I waffled between my two favorites. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He didn't steer me directly to the most expensive mattress, I found that myself. However it's not the one I chose. I picked the second most expensive one lol I hate shopping, my back chronically hurts from an injury, and the mattress I liked the best alleviated some of that pain. The checkout process was easy. I qualified for a credit card I didn't need, but it allows me to pay off the purchase at my leisure instead of immediately. The delivery was great too. After a couple weeks we had a call to schedule, followed up on the morning of, received a text when they were on the way, and after the delivery was completed. The gentlemen who removed the old mattress set and installed the new one were very professional. I work from home and they barely made a sound. They were respectful of my property and quick. I didn't feel the need to shop around, most places have the same stock and comparable prices. I like BiltRite and was happy with my experience. The mattress has been a lifesaver for me as I don't wake up in intense pain every morning. I find that my experiences over almost 20 years with this store have been pleasant and no pressure. And the fact that I'm not here every other year to replace something is a testament to quality which i appreciate.

DO NOT RECOMMEND this hardware store…read more Refused to provide my return of an item (which was $7) because I mistakenly walked into the store with my previously purchased item and walked pasted their waist level sign saying "no returns beyond this point". This was my 2nd time in the store and it will be my final. I have never had someone accuse me of stealing, especially with no reason to do so. It was an honest mistake. End all be all, Greg (the floor manager) clearly hates women, not to mention I'm 8 months pregnant - he confiscated my item (because he couldn't confirm that I didn't take it off the shelf - even though I didn't go near that isle) and refused to refund my $7. He claims because it was in a bag he could not confirm that I didn't take the item that day and "his count was off". Pretty much I walked in and was robbed myself. No store should assume that their customers are stealing to this degree and no one should be treated in the way I was. ACE learn to have some faith and give grace to people...

After a whole lifetime in Chicago, I failed to get tenure there and had to start over in Milwaukee. We didn't really know anyone in town, and although I've traveled all over the world, only Chicago has ever really been home. Maria comes from a big Catholic family in small town Western Michigan, and Christmas is a special time for her. Well thanks to the then strong public teacher union presence, my new job paid a living wage, for the first time we were able to afford a house. That house really became a home after we discovered Grandpa Vern's seasonal operation and got our first Christmas tree. Since then, we've found them every year, every December we get a wonderful fresh tree they've grown and brought down from their farm in Northern Wisconsin personally. Our 7 year tradition isn't yet impressive to them, they've been at this for two full generations. Their prices are so much better than what you would get in Chicago, the quality is much better, and they will secure the tree to the roof of your car competently and quickly. They take cash or cheques, no credit cards, the CVS next door has an ATM.

A little pricey, and I know I would kill this beauty. It was nice to just wander about without anyone trying to be overly helpful. Took my time and found some new plants for my apartment. Which will not die on me!! The staff, at checkout, were very friendly and efficient. I will definitely go back. Great succulent selection which I have a soft spot for.
