The employees were friendly and helpful, and there was a great selection of games, consoles, gaming accessories, anime/comics, and toys and figures. There were games for NES, Atari systems, various versions of Gameboys, PS1, PS2, GameCube, modern consoles, DS, and more. I was looking for games for my Commodore VIC-20 and didn't see any, but it's a pretty obscure system so it's a big ask. The prices were sometimes expensive but not nearly as much as eBay, and they had a selection unlike any game store I've been to. I feel like the items sold were worth the price. While I didn't end up buying anything, I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

Anyways, I eventually made it back out that way (it's about an hour drive for me) with a buddy, and it was worth the trip. The guy working the desk was helpful and friendly. They had a great selection of throwbacks. I recommend shopping here especially if you live out that way near the kennesaw area. Businesses like this are rare, and we are lucky to have it. Good deals too on their pricing.

In all the time where the floor creaks and in every squeak of the door is like a warm greeting from all those who have passed through. They have a little bit of everything in terms of books. Most of their books are books that you wouldn't necessarily find in a conventional bookstore. Books like collector's encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain or five lessons on the modern fundamentals of golf by Ben Hogan. All the baked goods are baked in the house. I especially enjoyed their Lavender cake which i'm told is made from lavender flower and not the syrup. It's a must try. They also buy use books. The selection varies depending on what they're looking for. I hope you can come by and check them out.

I'm delighted they are close by and are Black-owned and -operated. This is their own location. Parking in reasonable and free in the private shopping center lot. The entire feel of this neighborhood bookstore is a vibe from the music to the decor to the reading room for children. Everything is well-labeled and there is remarkable attention to detail in terms of the organization. It's definitely worth a trip and please support them often and always.

And whatever you do don't forget to take a picture of your art work before you go. If you don't, they will have no way to figure out if it's finished. They won't call to tell you it is finished. And if you don't go get it within 30 days it will be destroyed. Their system is very archaic and dysfunctional. They don't tell you that you have to take a picture, you're somehow just supposed to know this. Also, expect to spend at least $75-$100, which I think is very over priced. Just go somewhere else instead.
