When I lived in Atlanta, this was my go to store - and it still is. Service is tremendous and the selection is great. Love that they had such a wide assortment. Plus, it honestly still is the best comic shop in Atlanta. SELECTION: Extensive. They have a much bigger selection of back issues than most comic books shops and it is all well laid out. Their collectible card game collection isn't as huge, but they have a nice selection with a good variety including Pokemon, Lorcana, Star Wars Unlimited, and Magic the Gathering SERVICE: Excellent! It's why I kept going there for years. It had always been a place of refuge for me and it was the best comic store around. It's been at least ten years, maybe twenty, since I've been inside anything resembling a proper comics shop. I used to play Dungeons and Dragons back in the day. I don't have any of the books, but somewhere around here is my collection of multi-sided dice. So I was in the neighborhood and thought I'd give it a peek. A few tables in the back were packed with gamers. Younger, older, male, female, all doing something that looked incomprehensible to me. But they seemed to be having fun. I wandered the aisles looking for a few bits to give to my daughter who seems to have developed a total fan crush on Chris Hemsworth aka Captain America. I found the latest issue of that comic book and I also got a glossy Doctor Who book. Somehow without breaking the bank. Credit cards are accepted with Square. The guy who rang up my purchase was extremely knowledgeable and gave me a very detailed answer to "When did they stop publishing Dragon magazine?" that didn't involve making me feel any older than I already felt. Good collection of stuff, well laid out. If you're into this, or you're looking for a gift for someone who is, you can't go wrong with Titan. Decided to come to Titan Games to look for a Pokémon pre-release. 2 hours prior to my arrival I called to make sure they had the product. They notified me that the item went up for sale exactly, coincidentally, that day. So I decided to drive 30 minutes to come make a purchase. To my surprise all of a sudden they don't have the item and they were never up for sale. There must be 1. Either miscommunication between employees or 2. Fishy practice of holding onto sought after product for themselves. Along with not being greeted and borderline ignored when I walked, having possible shady practice and lack of empathy while being shrugged off, make this a card store worth not attending. There are better and more friendly places to shop like Win Condition. read more

I visited Titan to play-test a game a friend of mine has developed. I gotta say: the new location ROCKS! Spacious, and inviting, Titan has everything a fan / gamer / geek needs--not the least of which is a friendly staff who can talk to you at length about your interests, and what makes a comic great (or not) or what makes a game great (or not). I fell in love with this place immediately. It's been a while since I've been able to frequent a comics & games shop, and I was happy to see a steady stream of folks who keep their comics subscriptions at Titan. Plus, there are a variety of toys & collectibles all over the place. They've got a large-ish space in the back of the store filled with gaming tables you can reserve for whatever game you've got in mind. We did our play-test next to some other folks who were playing a Marvel-based heroes game. I thought I heard someone say something about a regular gaming meetup or two that meets-up at this location. Titan's has been my home-base for comics since the 90's. I love the staff. They're always so cool and easy to talk to like good, welcoming friends. Their prices are really good too. Back issues are fairly priced. I also really love that they bag new issues--a lot of stores don't do this. And though I prefer the "old" location more, the store is clean and nice. I've only been here once so my review reflects the visit. I'll update when I show up a little more. I went here because I was visiting my brother up in Smyrna. I'm a fan of any comic book store. The pros: 1. Plenty of parking because it's in a shopping center. Pretty easy to find as well. 2. For a small store it's a got a decent selection of comics. Most of them are current and popular from what I saw. They also have some toys and figurines. 3. I haven't gone but they seem to sponsor game nights for board games, card games, and the like. It's nice to see a place to this for the community. The cons: 1. Definitely a smaller place with a much smaller inventory. I didn't really see any small house publisher comics. I also didn't see any variants for sale in the stacks. The toy and statue selection is sparse but this is typical of a place that is careful about how much inventory they maintain. 2. This is a pretty small place. Since they also focus on gaming events I think they keep the inventory lower than most places to accommodate those events. A store I've visited in Phoenix, AZ does the same thing. Not a bad thing, just a reason why some people might not find what they want. 3. Not to knock the salesperson but the most I got was a hello but not an offer of assistance. I don't think I'm entitled to it but a smaller store would benefit from engaging with their customers. I think this place has potential. It would most likely need a bigger spot in order to grow but only time will tell. It makes sense to have a comic store in this area to serve the needs of locals otherwise they're facing a pretty long drive. read more

Greatest comic shop in the metro. The employees are knowledge and actually care about comics. They are quick to figure out your likes and wants and are always ready to offer advice on something you might not have considered. They have a more than ample selection of bird card and role playing games. If you don't see it they can get it for you. The store also has a comfortable place to put two tables of games that are available most nights. Lastly take the time to talk to the manager Mike. He is extremely witty and fun to talk to. my husband and I were visiting from Missouri, and like all good needs, we had to check the local comic book store. the RPG section was quite admirable having a great diversity of titles and systems. the comic selection was was a well curated mix of solid storylines and current titles. the proprietor was both knowledgeable and friendly. plus, the bathroom was clean (thanks to the diligent oversight of Captain Phasma). there was plenty of space to stroll through to the gaming tables at the back. Titan Games & Comics was one of the first stores I ever visited for comics and board games. I myself have never been an avid comic reader, mostly interested in board games and MTG (Magic:The Gathering). I would eventually spend many Friday nights here playing MTG with friends. Over the course of these nights I realized what makes Titan Games & Comics my favorite, The staff. A few of my more remarkable memories of Titan's is their Board game days and Free Comic Book Days (May 4th Weekend). Daniel and Katie are always really helpful to new and young players/readers. I highly recommend checking out their website and finding one of their many events to attend. You will not be disappointed. As a MTG player Titan's is also invaluable. They are the only store I have found to sell their MTG products at MSRP and not jack the price up for profit. If you're looking to purchase any supplemental products that tend to become expensive quick (From the Vaults, Commander Product, Event/Duel decks, etc,.) I recommend preordering from Titan over anywhere else. They also do 20% MTG Boosters and accessories at their Friday Night Magic events. Even though I don't live as close as I use to, I still make a trip there for all the MTG set releases and as many game days as I can. read more

New comic releases are on the wall, all books at eye level. No crouching or leaping to see if you can find the issues that you're looking for. Prices on variants and back issues? Second to none. First let me say the new location behind Best Buy and next to the Dollar Tree and Anna's is a HUGE improvement. Very clean locale and in a good area! Well laid out with some very awesome artwork. Now, on to the actual review. As a consumer, and Customer Service Supervisor, the thing that impresses me the most is the times I have picked up a truly terrible comic not knowing it, and the staff has helped me avoid it. They could have EASILY sold me on something I would have hated, but could only have blamed myself for. They care for their customers and won't sacrifice their happiness for the sake of a sale. They have a wide variety of every product you could want from this type of store: comics (old, new, and any one you can imagine),Pop figures, Marvel select figures, other action figures, cards for everything from DnD to My Little Ponie, board games, and more! I just cannot express how awesome the staff here is! They answer my 10 million questions regularly. And they give you AWESOME benefits for having subscriptions with them. If you want something they don't have they'll order it for you immediately in most cases. They gave me, my wife, and our daughter another hobby to enjoy together. We fled another shop in search of a friendlier atmosphere and we found it here. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they have none of the "too cool for you" 'tude prevalent in so many comic shops. While there selection is not as large as the place we fled, Titan focuses on having complete lines of a few things rather than a mish mash of everything under the sun. Great store! We were looking for board games -- in reviews it can be hard to tell how much of a store's focus is on board games vs. comics, miniatures or even card games like Magic. Titan Games & Comics name (versus Comics & Games) says it all: yes there are a lot of comics but also a great selection of board games, including an entire shelving unit in the back with demo games, and plenty of tables to play. When we visited, there were two groups playing D&D and another game, plus a couple other customers/players hanging out. The staff at the counter greeted us when we came in and were very helpful answering questions. Definitely worth a return trip. read more

The wealth of knowledge and the amount of passion every person there shows is awe inspiring. I was given a detailed overview of everything I was interested in and anything I might be. There was a wide selection of comics, games and collectibles. The staff was more than happy to order me a few issues I missed and I am now working on establishing my collection. Cool staff, great conversation, and great selection of comics: we felt like we had personal shoppers and consultants for comics. Hubby and I started back on The Walking Dead.
