This was a cute place and the coffee was alright but really sweet. The books seemed a little messy to me but I'm sure some people find the hunt fun.

raspberry bundt cake, the little crunchy sugar pearls are my favourite (:

They have a pretty interesting variety of books... admittedly it's a little disorganized, but the place is cozy and nicely decorated. They sell stickers. The young girl working the bar brought us our treats right to us as we read, and gave me a recommendation for which latte to order upon request and which i enjoyed. I wish we had had more time to look around but I would definitely like to come back to see more of it.

This book store coffee shop is so cute! The quiche and coffee are so delicious and the little nooks and crannies with cushiness and book shelves with an awesome wonderful plethora of books is so cute!! This shop is a place for relaxation and a "book search Vaca"!!

Lover of books, sweet treats, and self care? This is your place. Little rooms with surprises everywhere. Books, art, and conversation pieces. Entrance has gifts and owner book pics. The cafe counter is right there if you are just popping in for a beverage. They out source their baked items to a local woman. I'm still daydreaming of the raspberry coffee cake crumble highbred I chose. For coffee lovers there is a syrup bar with dozens of choices. Picked up some books to read, to craft, and to gift. My out of town friend and I sat in a middle room and reveled in the respite from the world. Love local and love this place. Ladies who run it are there for you. The joy they have for the place is felt.

Interior picture. Nice place to read and enjoy a coffee

Such a cool spot! It's a fun used book store and coffee shop. They have tons of homemade pastries, beverages, and treats. They have comfy chairs, plenty of light, and even a great kids area. The staff is kind The Sweet Read is an inviting place to enjoy a book and sip coffee. Highly recommended!

Kids space! Great spot for the littles

Oh so excited to have stumbled upon this "sweet" spot! In the heart of Woodstock, little and quaint place to pick up a book, a quiche and get some quality time reading. Love the kids room, and how kind the barista/server was. Can't wait to return!

Browse thousands of books. Sip some tea or coffee. Indulge in a yummy treat. This is a wonderful bookstore and bakery in an old house (former tearoom) made up of several small rooms. The baked goods don't have the finesse of a European bakery; they look and taste more like what your Aunt Rose would serve at home with afternoon tea. The quiche has a nice texture but is small. The Bundt cakes are a bit dry. The scones are pretty good. They do have some gluten-free options which I appreciate. The coffee is nice, and you can request a mug if you hate those disposable take-out cups everybody's using these days. Go through the front door and straight ahead to place your counter order first. The size of your drink has a literary name. I really enjoyed the London fog tea on my first visit, but it was way too weak/watery on my second try. Proceed to your right (opposite the cash register) to find a microwave and all the coffee fixings and syrups. This is also where you will return your dishes. There are two tables to sit at, but they are usually covered in books/displays. There are a few comfy chairs and sofas, but you'll need to snag one quickly. The prices of the used books are decent, and they have some nice antiquarian finds as well. Books and baked goods and a hot beverage just belong together, don't they?

Overpriced used books. Cute store though. I wish the books weren't so overpriced. I did enjoy the setup though.

They have round vault wheels as their handles. Made so much sense after that. He gets an apple juice and a Black Rifle cookie. I usually get the Liberty. The first time the barista told me I can lower the sweetness level and the drink was PERFECT! I forgot the past couple times and it is quite sweet. I have had the Liberty Bell both hot and cold. Either way is delicious (minus the extra sweetness - but that is my fault for not remembering to tone down the sugar). The baristas are super nice. They told me son that they can do any drink hot, iced, or blended...They also have lemonade with mix ins - he's planning to get that next time. The space is spacious. There are about 12 - 13 tables of varying seats a cozy couch area and a bar with bar stools looking out the window. There is also outside space. At 2pm on a Wednesday there are few people in there so room to spread out but also echoey for an 8 year old boy playing switch and getting a little animated. The bathrooms are one per and unisex (which helps me and I can send him into the bathroom just fine). We love Black Rifle and are so happy it's so close to cheer camp.

I got the Korean-style coffee and a Dubai chocolate croissant, and both were delicious. The croissant was HUGE and I couldn't even finish it, so the value is definitely there. I'm already excited to go back and try the strawberries and cream croissant and the Biscoff latte. The guy at the register was so nice! They also offer curbside pickup, which is super convenient, although I chose to go inside because I wanted to check the place out. It's spacious, nicely decorated, and has a great atmosphere. I could definitely see myself meeting up with friends here. I live in Chicago but visit the area often to see family, so this will absolutely be a staple whenever I'm in town!

The pistachio croissant was super flaky and filled with pistachio, which made it the perfect pairing with the drink. Really nice spot to relax, grab a drink, and enjoy a pastry.

Not my style, but if you're obsessed with dogs, you'll probably think it's adorable. My boyfriend and I went together. He loved the barista's nonchalant vibe. Me, not so much. I don't need a parade when I walk in, but a simple smile goes a long way. Price-wise, the coffee is fair. I wouldn't pay a cent more. I got Kirby's signature mocha iced (regular). It was fine...nothing special. My boyfriend got the same thing hot and enjoyed it, but he's a simple guy. I'm... not. So here's the bottom line: If you're looking for coffee that's innovative, unique, or memorable, this isn't the place. If you want a cute, simple mom‑and‑pop shop with reliable coffee that won't hit you with Starbucks prices, it'll do the job. One more thing: my boyfriend bought a chocolate cookie that was labeled as a chocolate chip pound cake, which turned out to be a brownie. The disorganization matches the overall vibe. But hey, happy coffee hunting

I wanted a place that was cozy, good coffee drinks and not too busy so I could work. Lazy Labrador Coffee was perfect. It's right off of downtown Kennesaw and has lots of room to sit inside or outside. Upon parking behind the shop, there's a garden area with cornhole, benches, tables and the porch has seating too. Inside there's a sitting area by the fireplace and tables. There's plenty of tables and even upstairs. The counter is straight ahead with a menu and lots of drink specials. There's not too much to eat other than pastries so don't come too hungry. I tried a scone and a large iced blueberry matcha. The drink was a good balance of sweet and the nutty flavor of the green tea. The scone wasn't memorable but hit the spot because I was hungry. I was able to get in a few hours of work as the place gets busy. Other patrons are courteous to take their conversations and busy toddlers outside. There's free WiFi, three unisex restrooms and the jazz playing was the right volume to set the tone. I definitely recommend and I'll be back to try more low caffeine beverages.
