This place has been named Vany's for over one year now. It has gone downhill to say the least. I used to order from Vany's about once per week. Then about twice per month. Now I'm done. They forget parts of your order for delivery, and tonight's icing on the cake was food poisoning with the Buffalo chicken salad. Throwing up like crazy after knowing something didn't quite taste right is the end of giving Vany's any more chances. read more

This was my first visit to Gigi's. This address has been about four different pizza shops in the ten years I've lived in Coplay. I became vegan before Gigi's replaced the previous pizza shop. I hadn't considered asking them if they could make a cheeseless veggie pizza (which is silly of me). Today my dad suggested it. So we asked. I was impressed! So many pizza shops don't understand that skipping cheese means that they should really cover the pizza with veggies. Gigi's seems to get it. This vegetable pizza was LOADED with veggies. This is exactly the way it should be! Yay! Note: my dad thought it was a bit salty but it didn't bother me. It was also a bit messy. They probably don't specialize in veggie pizza, so I can forgive the incidental messiness, and, ultimately, I don't care that it's a little messy because it tasted awesome and was very filling (via the vegetables, unlike so many other pizza shops). NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN!!!! I ordered my pizza at 7:25 I was told it would be ready in ten minutes for pick up. I arrived approximately 7:37 & the cook with the blonde hair screams "you burnt the pizza" to the owner. So now I'm upset. So he starts making a new pizza & then charged me full price didn't offer a 20% off of any compensation an apology NOTHING. The customer service SUCKS! Then the blonde "cook" goes "I'll pay for your pizza if you just get the f*** out of here" as I was trying to ask about a possible coupon or a discount. Which the owner refused. ... Then proceed to give me a pizza that looked like crap! I was taking this home to feed the kids before bed we had a long day! I will NEVER go back in to this hell hole again. One more order. We got a spinach calzone and a large plain cheesesteak. The calzone was fantastic, but the cheesesteak had sauce and onions. I called to advise them of the mistake and they immediately apologized and offered a new sandwich. Not only that, they delivered it so we didn't have to go back out. The correct cheesesteak was also delicious and still hot. The updated review reflects the excellent recover they made. This place has gone from never again to a firm favorite. read more

We've never had any problem ordering from them before but the past two times have been very disappointing. The first time we ordered a cheesesteak and a hoagie. The cheesesteak was good but the hoagie roll was stale. I called to let them know and the girl said they were having problems with the bakery delivering them stale rolls. She apologized and that was the end of that. A few weeks later we ordered again. A cheesesteak and a Baked Ziti with meat sauce. Well guess what- there was no meat in the sauce. Very disappointed. The food ROCKS!! I live in Coplay and am not a fast food fan at all. Gigi's is so good & well made that I try to eat there once a week. The staff is very friendly & nice & the food is made to order. It's delicious, loaded with flavor & no skimping on servings. The ingredients are fresh & high quality. First place I ever ordered a hoagie with tomatoes & the tomato was actually ripe & red!! Other restaurants & pizza joints call those orange things tomatoes...not! I love this Gigi's & highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed. read more

I ordered a pizza around 4:45 and grant it I realize it's a Friday night so I expected a little delay and I was told 45 minutes. I called around 5:55 to check and see if the order was on the way and I was told they ran behind but the delivery person was on their way 6:35 the pizza arrived but when asking the delivery person why 2 hours late? The response was I was given the wrong address another lie when clearly it was written plain as day on my receipt. In addition the pizza was ICE COLD which I now had to reheat so needless to say I will not be ordering from here. So sad if they would have offered to give me the ice cold pizza for free and credit my card I may have considered giving them another chance. read more
