Needed VW Beetle battery replaced, which is nearly impossible to remove! Battery was beyond dead. Called this shop because of the proximity to my home & the good reviews. Not only did Darren find me a tow truck, but ordered the battery & replaced it. Shop was very clean. Car was ready when he said & final price was just as quoted. Price was affordable. I was referred to Gilbert Motor Service from another mechanic who mostly dealt with brakes and have been nothing but impressed with the professional service and personal touch that Darren gives his customers. I first went in for a problem with the ignition. Not only did that get fixed, but he must have found something that triggered the cruise control back on after a number of years. We have two older Infiniti's (1999 & 2000) and have always had them serviced at the dealer. A few years ago the dealer gave me a two-page list of things they recommended on one of my cars and basically told me that there was so much in need of repair that we should just trade the car in. I did some online research regarding the cause of the scraping noise I was hearing from my car. I concluded that it was that the brake pads were worn down and I did some research regarding a reasonable market price for the work in this area. I went to this shop to have the work done.
