it was my first time to get the service done at the shop, and I have to comment it was satisfied. first come first serve and it's worth for the wait. my car needed alignment, so I looked around on yelp. at the fair price, I decided to give it a try. I didn't expect much on the work, and thought it just likes other alignment shop around. However, they did the wonderful job on the alignment. The shop is very clean. All the employees wore clean uniforms and spoke very well. The shop specializes in replacing shocks and struts, brakes and alignment. I had a four wheel alignment on my vehicle a few years ago. The prices were reasonable for a shop that has skilled workers with the tools to work on all vehicles. Last year my daughter had the front end repaired on her 2010 Chevrolet Suburban. I had the tires replaced on my vehicle at a tire shop. The tire shop just started doing alignments. The shop recommended an alignment. The shop was unable to complete the alignment because the proper tools were not available. I took my vehicle to Carroll's for the alignment. Carroll's checked the alignment and didn't find any problems. The mechanic said there is no charge since no work was needed. They also checked my brakes and said they were good for now. read more

This is the kind of mechanic shop you actually want to go to. Every mechanic looks like they've been working on cars since before I was born. They use good parts, don't try to upsell you, answer all your questions, and work fast. The whole process was smooth from start to finish. For reference, I dropped off my '21 Honda Accord. Every time I reversed and lightly braked, my car would let out the loudest whale cry you've ever heard -- I'm talking Free Willy levels. My entire neighborhood knew exactly when I was leaving for work. I swear I was developing PTSD from that sound. Finally, I decided to stop by this shop since I always drive past it. I got a brake fluid flush and all four brakes replaced. They said it'd take 3-4 hours, but it was done in under 2. Now my car reverses in complete silence. It's almost unsettling how peaceful it is -- like driving a new car. Jokes aside, awesome shop. Save yourself the stress and just bring your car here. read more

Kind folks and knowledgeable service advisors. Felt very good about dropping my aging truck off. The guys were very communicative and they know their stuff! The price was fair for high quality work. Brought the truck in to get the brakes checked, they let us know we needed a brake bleed. They did the brake bleed and also service on our suspension. They let us know what the next service/part replacement is going to be next down the road with an approximate quote. Dealership said that our front rotors and brakes needed to be replaced and they quoted an insane price. I remembered that Carrolls Brakes was right there on main so I brought it over. Jason helped me and they were able to swap out the rotors and pads, adjusted rear brakes, told me to bring back in about 10k miles for the rear pads, and suggested that if we planned on keeping our older car we might consider replacing the shocks and struts. I'll save up a little bit and take in for that, for sure going back. If you want someone who is going to give you a fair price, do good work and be honest with you about the situation and options, this is a great place. What's more I feel good about supporting a family run local business in my own community. Highly recommended. read more

The answers were very short and disrespectful, giving me a clear sign that my business was not wanted. To be candid it was the tall Caucasian male with longish hair and I think people can be direct and refuse service if they wanted to. Brought my 2020 Honda pilot with 45,000 miles in because I had been told that I needed struts (mind you, other shops only listened to the noise, they never actually inspected my car) I brought it to Rick and he was very concerned due to the age and mileage of the vehicle. He offered to put it on the lift and check it out. He found that struts are in good condition and don't need to be replaced however a bolt from the suspension was loose and alignment was needed. He tightened the bolt and did the alignment and problem was fixed. While other shops were trying to charge an upward of $700 he was honest and saved me so much money. I only had to pay $100 for alignment. I highly recommend this shop. They were awesome from start to finish. A huge thank you to Rick and the team. These guys are pros. Needed to get my wheels aligned after installing new rims and tires on my car and what takes a Toyota dealership 3-4 hours, took these guys barely an hour and was 25% cheaper. This establishment is on a first-come-first-serve basis and appointments are not needed. When they're busy, I'm sure they're busy and when they're not, they don't go through the motions and take their time. They're fast and the quality of their service doesn't suffer. Prompt, great service from Carroll's Brake Service! We came by without an appointment as our tire installation team at Costco recommended Carroll's for a tire rebalancing. It was a Friday afternoon and we were able to get slotted in on the spot! The gentleman who helped us nodded, took the keys and drove the car off around the block to see how our car handled (seemed OK at first), before driving it in to raise it to see how it was going. It took less than an hour (maybe 30 minutes?) between us pulling in to the service and before we checked out! We got a printout of the measurements for all of the wheels and after the service, a before and after comparison (indeed the balancing was off and needed re-adjustment, despite the car handling OK). We thought the team was thorough, felt taken care of in a swift and prompt manner, and would definitely return to service our car in the future. We are so thankful that we could get this before any long term issues happened to our cars. Recommended! read more

Got new tires put in by Costco yesterday. They told me to go get the tires aligned elsewhere since Costco doesn't do alignments. One of the mechanics at Costco told me to check out Carroll's. I was quoted a reasonable price by Carroll's and since it's so close to Costco's already, I decided to just go there. At Carroll's, a gentleman checked my tire alignment and told me they're already aligned and there's no need to do anything else. He said there's no charge for his work. Ex - I was waiting for them to finish up with my vehicle's alignment when I overheard the shop owner was having with a customer. Not only did he try to upsell but performed a free brake pad replacement. I also called months later and tried to get a quote for my wife's vehicle. After finding out the type of vehicle and the relatively low miles, I was told it was fine and should be able to get more life out of the original pads. Again no upselling.
