This is the kind of mechanic shop you actually want to go to. Every mechanic looks like they've been working on cars since before I was born. They use good parts, don't try to upsell you, answer all your questions, and work fast. The whole process was smooth from start to finish. For reference, I dropped off my '21 Honda Accord. Every time I reversed and lightly braked, my car would let out the loudest whale cry you've ever heard -- I'm talking Free Willy levels. My entire neighborhood knew exactly when I was leaving for work. I swear I was developing PTSD from that sound. Finally, I decided to stop by this shop since I always drive past it. I got a brake fluid flush and all four brakes replaced. They said it'd take 3-4 hours, but it was done in under 2. Now my car reverses in complete silence. Dealership said that our front rotors and brakes needed to be replaced and they quoted an insane price. I remembered that Carrolls Brakes was right there on main so I brought it over. Jason helped me and they were able to swap out the rotors and pads, adjusted rear brakes, told me to bring back in about 10k miles for the rear pads, and suggested that if we planned on keeping our older car we might consider replacing the shocks and struts. I'll save up a little bit and take in for that, for sure going back. If you want someone who is going to give you a fair price, do good work and be honest with you about the situation and options, this is a great place. Kind folks and knowledgeable service advisors. Felt very good about dropping my aging truck off. The guys were very communicative and they know their stuff! The price was fair for high quality work. Brought the truck in to get the brakes checked, they let us know we needed a brake bleed. They did the brake bleed and also service on our suspension. They let us know what the next service/part replacement is going to be next down the road with an approximate quote. Brought my 2020 Honda pilot with 45,000 miles in because I had been told that I needed struts (mind you, other shops only listened to the noise, they never actually inspected my car) I brought it to Rick and he was very concerned due to the age and mileage of the vehicle. He offered to put it on the lift and check it out. He found that struts are in good condition and don't need to be replaced however a bolt from the suspension was loose and alignment was needed. He tightened the bolt and did the alignment and problem was fixed. While other shops were trying to charge an upward of $700 he was honest and saved me so much money. I only had to pay $100 for alignment. I highly recommend this shop. They were awesome from start to finish. A huge thank you to Rick and the team. I thoroughly trust Carroll's Brake Service, as I watched every step of my car's alignment. The technician needed to correct the alignment because I accidently hit a curb a few months ago, which he could tell right of way. With my new Costco tires installed, I'll be sure to be more careful when making turns and to not scrub the sidewalls, which really causes road rash for the rims and looks awful. I'm glad I don't have to worry about alignment, as the tire warrantee requires alignment and tire rotation. At $100, it is money well spent! read more

This establishment is on a first-come-first-serve basis and appointments are not needed. When they're busy, I'm sure they're busy and when they're not, they don't go through the motions and take their time. They're fast and the quality of their service doesn't suffer. Prompt, great service from Carroll's Brake Service! We came by without an appointment as our tire installation team at Costco recommended Carroll's for a tire rebalancing. It was a Friday afternoon and we were able to get slotted in on the spot! The gentleman who helped us nodded, took the keys and drove the car off around the block to see how our car handled (seemed OK at first), before driving it in to raise it to see how it was going. It took less than an hour (maybe 30 minutes?) between us pulling in to the service and before we checked out! We got a printout of the measurements for all of the wheels and after the service, a before and after comparison (indeed the balancing was off and needed re-adjustment, despite the car handling OK). We thought the team was thorough, felt taken care of in a swift and prompt manner, and would definitely return to service our car in the future. We are so thankful that we could get this before any long term issues happened to our cars. Recommended! read more

Got new tires put in by Costco yesterday. They told me to go get the tires aligned elsewhere since Costco doesn't do alignments. One of the mechanics at Costco told me to check out Carroll's. I was quoted a reasonable price by Carroll's and since it's so close to Costco's already, I decided to just go there. At Carroll's, a gentleman checked my tire alignment and told me they're already aligned and there's no need to do anything else. He said there's no charge for his work. I've been coming to Carrolls for a few years now. I am still blown away with the type of service I receive as well as others. Ex - I was waiting for them to finish up with my vehicle's alignment when I overheard the shop owner was having with a customer. Not only did he try to upsell but performed a free brake pad replacement. I also called months later and tried to get a quote for my wife's vehicle. After finding out the type of vehicle and the relatively low miles, I was told it was fine and should be able to get more life out of the original pads. Again no upselling. These guys know their stuff. They do high quality work performed at reasonable prices. This business clearly holds itself up to a higher standard, something we sadly don't encounter all too often these days! I felt like I was dealing with an old school business where both the integrity of the business and customer satisfaction are most important to uphold. We went in because my right rear brake was making noises, I had waited too long and the pads had been already scoring the right rear rotor, Jason replaced the rotor, took the truck on a drive, when he returned, he was dissatisfied, saying something seemed off to him, the truck was making intermittent clicking noises. He removed the new rotor he had just installed, resurfaced it on the lathe, reinstalled it, drove it again, still, same problem! He then mentioned to me that these days they occasionally have problems with brand new Chinese rotors that they install, in this case, the right out of the box new rotor was defective. Jason called his parts supplier, they delivered a different rotor a few minutes later, Installed it, and guess what, he was correct! I guess that's what years of experience looks and sounds like. He drove it again and this time was satisfied, and so am I. Carrols Brake Service gained a new customer after this terrific experience I had there on Monday, will be returning there for Shocks/Struts soon, and needless to say, all of my brake work in the future. read more
