I don't even know where to start. If you're looking for an amazing person that does incredible work for your big day than look no further! My fiancé (Gary) and I interviewed 5 different photographers for our engagement shoot as well as our wedding (planned for next December) and none even came close to making us feel as comfortable as Gilbert. I was digging deep looking for a photographer to show Gary. Reaching out to everyone I knew that had a camera but nobody seemed right, until he mentioned Gilbert. To be honest I kind of dismissed Gary's input since he doesn't have any experience with photography at first and then he showed me some of Gilberts work! Instantly you know that he is very talented. Freaking out, I notified Gilbert and he suggested pushing back the shoot to get it fixed, but stubborn me wouldn't allow it. And so the show went on! At our first engagement shoot, we met at a park of our choosing. I had never been to this park and when I arrived I felt like there weren't to many photo opportunities which was a little nerve racking, but Gilbert made it work! He managed to not only get us to feel comfortable in front of the camera but also created these gorgeous images from what I thought was impossible. He didn't get to many close ups of my ring, as a I requested, but did get some not so close ones and managed to make it look like the ring was perfect! Idk how but you couldn't even tell a diamond was missing! We set up a second engagement session and since i like to throw challenges at him, we decided to bring along our 2 (not so trained) dogs. Gilbert was more than great with them! The oldest is 12 years old and can't do to much. He was able to work perfectly with what ever the dogs threw at him. Haha. Gilbert is amazing I hired him to photograph my daughters Quinceanera. I had never planned a Quinceanera before and I was totally at a loss trying to combine usual quince traditions with a little more modern aspects to it. Out of all the vendors I hired Gilbert knew exactly what I was looking for in our photographs. We met for my daughters first photo shoot and he was so cool and relaxed and made my daughter feel very comfortable he captured not only her beautiful face but also the little girl look that somehow has grown up so fast. The day of the quince he arrived to do her hair and make up pictures and he helped keep all of us on a good schedule. Like I said I was pretty much the party planner and mom all in one.
