Mediocre food, extremely expensive, indifferent service. If you don't need kosher you may find better options elsewhere.

I've been coming to Caffe Yemen for quite a while, and my visit on June 20, 2026 was probably my…read morebest experience yet. I was watching FIFA soccer world cup match there between Germany and Cote d'Ivoire I originally went there hoping to have the Lamb Shank Mandi, but it wasn't ready at the time. The owner personally prepared a regular Lamb Mandi for me, and I can honestly say it was one of the best dishes I've had. The lamb was incredibly tender, warm, and practically melted in my mouth. The rice was fresh, fragrant, and tasted like it had just come out of the pot. Just look at the picture! Over the years, I've tried many Yemeni dishes, including Mandi, Kabsa, and Haneeth, and this place is definitely one of the best spots for Mandi in the area. The flavors are authentic, the portions are generous, and the hospitality is outstanding. My family and I first visited after reading positive reviews, and we've kept coming back ever since. We especially enjoyed both the Lamb Shank Mandi and the Lamb Mandi. Everything was delicious. I would love to see more traditional options such as Lamb Kabsa and Lamb Haneeth added to the menu in the future. If you're in the Renton area and enjoy Yemeni cuisine, I highly recommend giving this place a try. Great food, friendly service, and a wonderful dining experience every time.

Cafe Sabah has easily become one of my favorite spots since moving to Washington. The flavors here…read morereally stand out! Everything has that deep, smoky, grilled taste that makes each bite so satisfying. You can tell a lot of care goes into the food. I tried a variety of dishes, and nothing missed, but the mixed grill plate was the highlight for me. It's the perfect option if you want to sample different meats, and every piece was flavorful, juicy, and cooked perfectly. The space itself is beautiful--very open, clean, and inviting. The music adds to the experience, giving it a great atmosphere without being overwhelming. There's also plenty of parking, which makes visiting super easy

I kept my…read moreexpectations very low when I ate at this place, but the Adana kebab was the worst thing I've ever eaten. There was absolutely no salt, seasoning, or spice in the meat. It was basically cheap minced beef wrapped around kebab skewers. I couldn't finish it, and my stomach isn't feeling great tonight. The service was awful. They basically dropped the food at our table, and no one checked on us to see if we needed anything until it was time to pay. The ladies' restroom was flooded with toilet water, which tells me a lot about their hygiene standards. I had a good experience here a couple of years ago, but I would never eat here again or recommend this place to my friends.

The service here was terrific for us. They even educated us on some of the differences between Pakistani and Indian cuisine. It was a carry-out only for us. The food was hit or miss with me. The Biryani was alright but nothing I would ever order. What I sampled was way too spicy for me and just not my flavour. The kabob were some of the best I've tasted in this city, especially the lamb. Top notch. The Lamb Nihari was very tender, as was the Keema (with peas). The star of the show today was the Haleem. Call it a Pakistani porridge consisting of slow cooked spiced mutton, lentils and barley. A true delicacy! The place is quite pricey, even for the Seattle area. The portions are larger. Just know in advance you might want to share or count on leftovers for tomorrow's lunch! 06/25
