Beers were: Fast Eddie light, Blond, Cream ale & So many friends here. Flights are a great way to try a selection of beers. I loved the dark brew...but I love full bodied beers. The brewery has food which is awesome. Arvy's Street eats serves a variety of tacos. Since I won't be back I tried them all. I got the Birria tacos, the tandoori chicken and the Chana Masala tostado. Prince Eddy's is a great spot just off the main streets of Picton that serves some great beer. There's plenty of outdoor seating with umbrellas to keep you cool. There's a purpose-built stage for live performances. There's a current (?pop-up) resto called Slight Peppa that serves some Caribbean fusion snacks and dishes [I didn't get a chance to try this but it smelled pretty good!]. And of course, did I mention the beach volleyball court?! And now onto the beer! Obviously, not having tried everything they offered, I don't want to over-generalize, but the beers I had all trended towards light and refreshing, instead of heavy and strong in flavours. So basically, great summer beers. And great labels (I'm a sucker for good design)! Chiller Instinct (Dry Hopped Sour): I've always been a bit suspect of beers trying to do too much, but because most of the flavours are subtle, I found this worked really well, and may have been my fave! C.R.E.A.M. Ale: Smooth and a bit sweet. So Many Friends (Session NE IPA): A crisp IPA with a citrusy and floral flavours. I've never seen their stuff in the LCBO, but hopefully they'll make it big enough to get there. Otherwise, I wouldn't hesitate to order directly from them.

The design on the beer can is simple, but colours are vivid. On the menu, there was beer, wine, sparkling tea and snacks. We ordered our drinks and sat on a bench in their patio area. My personal favourite was Bobo (I forget the style) but super easy drinking with a delicious finish. There is a small selection of foodstuffs available (pita chips, tabule, hummus, and some meat products). We picked up a 6 of Janky IPA to go but will be sure to stop by again on our way out of PEC. It is highly recommended that you pre-book your reservations tasting flights online. When we arrived, there was a sign indicating what time slots were available for tasting and the number of spots open. When we were there until 12:30, it did not look as busy. Online, the flight is $10, however in person, it was $20 ($10 towards flight and $10 towards a purchase of a spirit). We enjoyed trying the samples and the cocktails were my favourite! It had a really chill atmosphere with chickens running around and after 11 am, Big Mike's BBQ starts to open and you can catch a mild whiff of it. It's unfortunate that the $10 credit towards spirits cannot be combined with others credits or towards the purchase of bitters or the glasses. Overall, we had a very chill experience at Kinsip Distillery.

The brewery has 2 original ales: Country Brown and Cream Ale and a few seasonal. The only pub and restaurants you can find exclusively on tap are at the 2 restaurants on site: The Inn and The Miller House. We really enjoyed Country Brown but find the other so so. I would not make a special trip but if you are in the area and looks for some local beers to support small local breweries, Lake on the Mountain is quite decent. It's definitively worth stopping in if you're in the area. They had some merch (hats, T-shirt's, glasses, etc) as well for purchase.
